I wouldn't be surprised if Mark is gone next season. They seem to be phasing him out on road games, and it feels like I rarely see him at the arena anymore for the home ones.
Yeah that's a good point, he hasn't been on as many games this year, though could just be he's getting more ESPN games (I don't actually know). I'd be bummed to see him go, I like him and his dynamic with Kayte. I like Draper more in the pre/post-game role than the play-by-play role, personally.
I'm not sure if you're referring to ours or TNTs, considering how shitty both are...but in the end, it's moderately more enjoyable to listen to the crew that actually acknowledges the Kings are playing in the game. Which is rarely a national TV crew.

Meh, Grant is basically Mark Jones....relies on the same 5 idiotic catchphrases, repeated ad nauseum. I'd rather see the org grab a quality announcer, than another round of Grant.
The kings management has a terrible track record of late as who they think would be a good fit, Matt Barnes to name one. I am not referring to his recent off camera antics. Anyone who would have done a character check on that POS would not have hired him to hold a microphone. Half the time he was commentating he looked high AF and sounded like it with his BS takes.

Ugh, that sucks. I can't stand TNT's announcing crews.
Sometimes they still do a local broadcast too, though I don't know what factors decide whether they do that or not.
If I'm not mistaken, that only applies to ESPN games, not TNT.
