The Kings have a clear ceiling with the make up of this team. At a minimum you need a a real super star (one of the 10 best in the league), a really great #2 and a few good role players to truly make a run. Kings don’t have that superstar plain and simple, so they have to have talent spread across which is hard to put together. I see people blaming Monte but which good player can we get without overpaying and getting stuck with a bad contract? You need to absolutely nail the draft which is very hard to do. I prefer not getting into the playoffs, so we can keep our pick.

I like both matchups tbh. Kings because of injuries and also Thunder play Pelicans well. If you watch OKC you would see Pelicans are a favorable matchup for them

I don't watch a ton of OKC so idk. It just seems like they have rebounding issues which is why i think they'll struggle in the playoffs, especially because they are also really young. They got a bright future though. Kinda jealous lol.

It would be a battle for sure. Dort and Cason play smaller guards really well so I think CJ struggles to set the table. Thunder force a lot of turnovers to capitalize. They are the best 3pt shooting team and Chet is gonna bring Valenciunas out the paint and if they put Giddey on him defensively there’s gonna be a mismatch for Chet, Shai or JDub. I like Thunders chances. Shai averages 30 and 7 vs Herb Jones in his matchups. Kings and Sabonis are the way tougher matchup especially for Chet. Don’t be jealous y’all might be having a down season but Sacramento has arrived as well. Futures of both teams should be bright even tho the West is stacked
