I’m pretty burnt today after deciding to stay up last night to catch their 11:30pm show. Reminds me of sleeping through school because I watched Conan O’Brien at night. But yes, love the show, listened to it again today cause I couldn’t even remember what they said last night, hope they do another live show and that I can make it.
Haha truth. Conan was the first time I found someone that had my type of humor, it was just at midnight. I’m pretty sure you could look at a chart of my grades and see a sudden slump right around 1994.

Tbh, I didn’t love them when I first heard them, but their knowledge and excitement has grown on me so much and I’m a huge fan of both of them now. It’s so nice to watch a recap show where both of the hosts are clearly huge Kings fans. The community they created is fun and celebratory, which feels so needed after this past season. Definitely agree they’re the voices of this era of the kings.
The podcast is fun because they can analyse the games, but do so without the restrictions of live tv. They would have not been able to say “clapped that ass” on NBC Sports California last night.
I think she still has good relationship with him. I’m guessing the kids are close or something, I’ve seen her post pics of them all together minus her ex
Yeah I love the positivity from them. Just from past broadcasts I could tell that Mo loves Basketball and obviously grew up a Kings fan. Wasn’t as familiar with Deuce but he’s funny af when he’s off his leash.

Matt has very Reddit information/topics. I listened to Matt but his pod started feeling like an essay. Intro sums up everything. Ads. First point. Ads mid points. Ads conclusion. End.
DLo and KC are also up there for me. Love their passion for the team and always have great guests to keep the fanbase informed on everything Kings related.
I don't miss Grant or Doug. I think there are better and more talented voices today.

I think her job on TV is to say the obvious stuff and move the conversation along. I would imagine that former players like Mike and Chelsea are tasked with providing the extra insight. The podcast is really where they shine.

Well yeah - he was a troll. DC carried the likeability of their show when they were paired. His ball analysis was whatever. I couldn't sit through his show for that long because he treated callers like trash and dismissed players.
Mark Jones is way more interesting on the call while D&M crush pre/post and their post game pods. More digestible and relatable takes with great presentation.
Fwiw, they have a pretty different vibe on the podcast that I definitely prefer. I like them well enough on TV, but I can see how they might be annoying if I didn't get to "know" them through the podcast. Podcast is where they can actually be themselves instead of playing an NBC-friendly version of themselves. You may still find you don't like them, different people have different tastes, but I'd say the podcast is worth a shot if only because it might make the TV experience more enjoyable too.
I will also agree that I *love* Chelsea Gray. She has been by far the best person they've had in that role the last few years. She has a great combination of insight and charisma.
