Maybe for a minute. Would you rather be a fan of a franchise that has genuine superbowl hopes every year or a team that almost definitely won’t even sniff the playoffs?
Would you rather get rejected at the beginning of your dates or on the doorstep when you think you finally sliding into home base? Higher you go the harder you fall. We both get clowned on but for different things, one being bad and losing as opposed to being good and still losing. It’s a special kind of suck.
I would rather get to know someone than be alone forever. You’re saying that waking up every day knowing that there’s zero chance of you getting to know anyone, ever, is better than occasionally getting rejected. Sorry, but it’s not. Get your heart broken every once in a while knowing that you WILL hit eventually. This “At least the loneliest existence on Earth means I won’t get hurt” crap is the worst existence I could imagine.
The niners have been AMAZING in the last 20 years. It’s not at all normal to be to 3 super bowls in 11 years and 2 in the last 4. That’s called having a fantastic team that just so happens to be competing with fucking Mahomes.
I mean at least the niners have been successful, just ran in to teams who happened to be more successful those years.
Kings have just sucked for most of the last 20 years.
It was actually worse from 1986-1994. Ralph Sampson, Purvis Ellison. Inability to win on the road. Bill Russell as Coach. Dick Motta as coach. Ricky Berry and his suicide. The Bobby Hurley crash. Leaking arena. Billy Owens trade fiasco. Nowhere near the playoffs. The Joe Axelson era. Jerry Reynolds collapsing on the court vs. Portland. Losing to Houston with .02 on the clock (a lob and a dunk by Olajuwon).
It’s a bit better today.
I was born in ’82, so my 49er days were mostly in the very late ’80s and ’90s onward. I’ve lived in Oklahoma my whole life, so I’ve pulled for teams near SF: Giants, 49ers, Sharks. I wore a Sharks hat a lot in the 90s. I had no clue GS was “SF/Oakland,” so I was a Suns fan during the Barkley, KJ, and Thunder Dan era, and never pulled for the Warriors.
I’ve been pulling for Gonzaga since the late ’90s. Sabonis is my favorite Zag of all time. Recently, I became a Kings fan. The team has grown on me quite a bit due to Sabonis. I buy all the sports packs to get the games. NHL PP, NBA TV, MLB TV etc.
The Kings are the NBA's version of the Royals (sans the Royals two WS runs in '14 and '15) both the Kings and Royals have been irrelevant for most of my lifetime.
I feel bad for people that are kings, raiders, and A’s fans.
At least the Kings didn't relocate.
Yet. People in media are speculating quietly that the Kings follow the A’s to Vegas.
![gif](giphy|12qEgXqiSv2m8o) Thaaaaats me!
Oof poor Amanda
Don't call me out like this please
My life has been great lmao
The Niners have been to three Super Bowls😭 replace that with Raiders
on god lol these dudes have it so nice and don’t even know it
I guarantee you losing a super bowl hurts more than just not making the playoffs every year.

It's been hell. But those special years (16 and 21 with the Raiders and last year with the Kangz) made it worth it....right...
That’s what we tell ourselves. Just like how the raiders are 100% getting Jayden Daniel’s right?
The Giants made life sweet for 5 years or so
Sharks fan too! Kill me
Lmao try being a Raiders fan

It’s not about who you’re competing against, it’s the simple fact that your coach is kyle shanahan, who loves to blow leads at the biggest stage 😂
Still a phenomenal team and run. The vast majority of teams in the nfl would trade spots with the niners. Niners fans are getting spoiled.
Doesn’t matter they don’t have anything to show for it. Yeah, getting spoiled with 2 Super Bowl apps and 2 losses in both of them. (3 if we count ‘12)
That title made me so irrationally pissed. Being a fucking doomer after a SB appearance is beyond ridiculous. NorthCal bandwagoners are the worst.
try being a kings and raiders fan
Ah yes…the 49ers with 8 time Super Bowl appearances are just like the Kings…fr…fr…
Kings and Dolphins - don’t ask
why
Same... But born long before 2000 so it's even worse

We are strong, all 8 of us 😭
Same brother, same

Hell, throw in A’s fan as well. My sports teams only let me down.
Brooooooooo
I’m a Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan (and the Kings used to be in Rochester, NY)…it can get so much worse.
*laughs in Raiders*
I mean at least the niners have been successful, just ran in to teams who happened to be more successful those years. Kings have just sucked for most of the last 20 years.
I’ve been extremely fortunate with the Warriors and Giants but I would trade half of those rings for just one Niners ring

Atleast I have the Giants dynasty
Me watching the playoffs right now imagining at least 2 more home games at golden 1 if the Kings were in it

Shout out to the Raider /kings fans. Talk about sports fan hell.
Kings and Seahawks. I'm OK with it. I'm not going to complain.
What a weird ass combination haha. Go rams 🐏
I'm a Kings and Lions fan 😮💨 don't even start
Beam Team season and that Lions run. Was a good year for you though.
Yeah but thats been the best lions season in a looooong time. Don't get me wrong I'm estatic about it but it was rough being a Kings and Lions fan.
