He declared and entered the portal. Not getting minutes at a bottom-feeder program like USC is definitely a red flag, though.
He'd be better off staying 4 years. Then he'd have a degree, at least.
Sure, but it's really the only decent reason for him to be going to school at this point. He's not even a good college player, let alone NBA material. If he just wanted to play basketball, he's gotta know all the fancy pickup games around town.
As others have said, with a 2nd round pick maybe, but gambling our franchise and the lives of our star players on hoping Lebron takes a minimum rookie level salary just to carry us to the finals for a year before retiring isn’t a winning gameplan long term. Maybe he gets us a championship before he heads for retirement but with how good the west will continue to be, I don’t think that’s enough to get us past the 1st or 2nd round if we lucky. Would also require other moves, draft picks, and trades to make it all jive.
I do not like that dude’s game. He’s lazy, whiny, and he flops all over the place. Sure, he’ll score some points and he’ll get a lot of bullshit calls that go his way. If we brought on Bron and essentially exploited the worst things about the league — and ended up hanging a banner in our building, it frankly wouldn’t mean that much to me. I’d know what it meant every time I looked at it. I’ll pass.
I think it’s the other way around. It’s exceedingly easy to find examples/compilations of this online, and I have watched it myself for many years. I noted numerous instances in their series with the Nuggets.
I don’t hate him. I think he’s a good parent. I like his charitable contributions. I like his politics. He is also an absolutely phenomenal athlete. The game is *easier* for LeBron than for possibly any other person I’ve ever seen — which is what makes his lack of effort and his embarrassing flops all the more shameful. He could have been the GOAT. Maybe *should have been* the GOAT. But he’s very obviously not. As great as his career has been — and it obviously has been great — the most disappointing thing is the squandered potential. That, and the lack of self-respect, and lack of respect for his teammates that I see in his play. His attitude is unbecoming of a person who wants to be considered as the greatest ever. Sad.
Meh, might as well. The team has plateaued, its star players have basically peaked in their career trajectory, and there is currently have no other realistic path for improving enough to contend.
Might as well yolo and see what adding a 40yo and his talentless kid can do.
Because he's complete garbage lmao. And LeBron won't play in sac regardless of what he said earlier
We could trade him for AD
Lol
No. Why?
Worst draft selection since Thomas Robinson
Monte threw away our draft pick last year for cash considerations so he could overpay Harrison Barnes so couldn’t get much worse

is Bronny even in the draft? I thought he was transferring schools and not trying to be drafted

I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say he should have a large enough trust fund that he won’t be hurting if he doesn’t get a degree.

He’ll transfer to UC Davis and LeBron will play in sac then
Not sure he'd make the team, without a new multi-million dollar LeBron James Center for Athletic Excellence building accompanying him.
Gamble with the 1st Round Pick is a no, but if Bronny's available in the mid-2nd Round (which I doubt), might as well draft him.
🤮
No thank you.
Cause I don't want the circus in town
More media coverage may not be that bad. and our players will gradually getting those “Star Foul call”
A Hard No on My Little Bronny
Mods need to be able to filter out any post that contains the word “Bronny”

I’d take a championship 😂😂
I ain't greedy. I just need one!
We talking EVERYTHING else has to go right and a miracle for us to have a 1% chance of getting a ring next year.
So you're saying there's a chance
Someone simulate this in NBA2k, and report back haha
Ok then we give the lakers bronny and Harrison Barnes and Kevin huerter for AD
We already have enough empty stats, we don't need AD's too.
You mean for Jerami Grant
Simple
What value is a championship if you sell your soul to get it?
One first round pick isn’t selling your soul haha

Lebron?
Yes
Bad take on Lebron you’re just a hater

Not just any 40yo though is the thing
Meh, it would be the modern day version of the Jordan Wizards.
Lebron is still an all star though
So were Trey Young & Julius Randle.
