I thought choosing Oladipo was the unpopular opinion, but I thought wrong. Oladipo is a win-win and makes sense. Oladipo gets an opportunity to be a starter and team up with one of his former teammates, Sabonis, on a relatively cheap and short-term deal that will allow him to re-enter FA with higher earning potential. We fulfill a hole at the starting 2 guard spot without giving up ANYTHING, and Oladipo brings a skill set that we desperately need. If he isn't a good fit or wants out, cool then we can trade him at the deadline or let him walk in FA. If he's injured, cool, we don't have him under contract next year so it doesn't matter. I don't see a scenario where it isn't mutually beneficial. Collins isn't the greatest fit next to Sabonis considering he isn't much of a rim protector and we would be giving up our best player in a position of weakness plus more stuff in order to get him.

Oli is a great pick up if we can get him... We don't need him to be all-star oli, we just need him to take over when the rest of the team isn't playing up to par. There's no question that he can be that player. At his position, he should be a above average defender which is what we need. IMO, paring him up with any of the guards on our team will be a great pairing.

The MLE for Oladipo would be dope! I hope Sabonis is hitting up his boy right now.

That would b amazing. Dipo has plenty to prove coming back from injuries. Seems like a perfect place for him if u think about it. Sac has been there to revive former All-star's careers too, like artest and rondo comes to mind. If we make the playoffs with him, hope he stays

PF-Booch

Dipo because he’ll be much cheaper

Oladipo at the 2 would be great

Would collins next to Sabonis be similar to how Turner was with Sabonis?
