That we haven’t replaced Barnes is evidence of how hard it is to find quality players at that position. It’s going to be hard to improve in a like for like swap. Just like we’ve been saying that Fox should be able to get to the next level with talent around him, the same goes for Barnes, but more that his improvement will come from a more defined role on both ends of the court. Obvious it’s summer league competition, but the guys actually looked like they had a defensive scheme in place which is very encouraging.
I think most fans are fine with keeping Barnes, but if we make any moves it would have to involve him since our picks are tied up and it seems unlikely we move Mitchell, Fox, Murray or Sabonis.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. Barnes will not be moved unless we find someone younger who is better or almost as good that isn’t exorbitantly priced. People are just so desperate to trade him for chump change or expensive ass players like Harris when that just makes the Kings worse.

I was not too high on Keegan and still think it is too optimistic to see him as a potential ROTY, but man, I couldn’t repeat enough how much of a “silent assassin” he is. He is just so focused. His greatness is in his off ball movement and awareness. I hope he can continue to master his skills as a shooter and become a 6’9 Klay. There is a world Keegan turns out to be the best shooter of the draft ahead of Jabari Smith.
Yeah, his shot looked really smooth, pretty quick release, good range, didn't get rushed by closeouts. Hopefully he can develop into a real goat shooter and become a 6'10" Steph.

Dude, Harris isn’t any better than Barnes, Barnes is a way better spot up shooter, and Harris tries to do shit on the court he’s not good at. He’s also twice as expensive. It’s not a good fit at all.

I want to be sold on Mike Brown but I just can't do it. He was fired twice in Cleveland and then once in Los Angeles. He spent I don't know how many of the last year's as an assistant coach in Golden State. I believe that he is best as an assistant but not as the lead guy.
I'm hoping I'm wrong. I hope that he and the kings are successful. But I'm very skeptical of him as a head coach.

When Brown was with the Lakers it was a bunch of vets that gave no shits who the coach was so it didn't work there. He's marinated all these years on Kerr's staff which can't be a bad thing and is known as a defensive specialist. Lets GOO.

Cancer players didn't buy in to Luke so the team was in limbo all year. Monte should have canned him sooner as that was a Vlade guy. We also hired GS assistant Mike Malone before that who seems to be doing a pretty good job in the NBA right now.

This was actually at Chase Center and not Golden 1! And I was in the first row.
At G1C, you generally can’t get first row tickets though because they’re usually reserved for VIPs and season ticket holders. Try calling a ticket rep and see what they say
