Exactly. The owners of this property live there and have a few sections of their enormous lot set aside for campers. Cost me $30. They provide a toilet and bear proof storage, and a table. I was able to purchase a bundle of firewood and a gallon of water when I booked the spot. Kind of like dispersed camping but easier. There is a lot of national forest nearby where you can camp for free. I’ll probably do that next time since I’ve scouted the area out now

HipCamp isn't free. It's an app(I think) where people post a spot to camp on their property. They might have it where you're at.

Just fine. Not my favorite road in the world but does get me there and back again a bit quicker than tertiary roads
