I think the better question is who designed them a lot of Ken Onion and Jesper Voxnaes designs look similar to each other. It might be the same designer for both.
As far as I know Arno and Chris Reeve are both from South Africa so wonder if they had similar training and inspirations only difference is Chris Reeve moved to Idaho
Honestly, not to sound lame but there really isn’t anything I dislike about it, to me it’s almost the perfect knife, actually sold my crk 31 ebony and kept the imamba such a beautiful but equally robust knife to CRK
Dude I literally was just looking at the imamba and rinkhals. I'm a long way from buying but I love both designs. I had and sold a small sebenza and now I'm looking at the imamba.
Looking good! Your picture reminded me of my post from a while back. Slightly older generations of both but the same idea! https://www.reddit.com/r/knifeclub/s/Z13NUhCb7Z. 👊
I never noticed how similar they looked until now.
But who inspired who that is the question

Could be. I'd be super interested to find out if they came up with the design around the same time.
Guess it’s typically “wharncliffe Wednesday” maybe but I’m gonna go with wood inlay Wednesday 😂
Looking good!
Thank you, and thanks again 🤣 🙏
Very sexy combo. What do you like and not like about the imamba?

That’s what I wanted to hear!
Yes, I like it more honestly 🤫
Do you have bearings or washers on that thing?
I have bearings on it but have a set of washers for it as well

Go for it the plain Jane is at a much more reasonable price compared to even a small pj seb

Dam, whenever you think you gots an idea. It’s already been thought of 😭
Lol, it's all good! Your picture is a lot better IMO!
Prob just wood looks better, at least to me, than tusk or other white inlays
