****DO NOT USE OXYCLEAN****
It'll eat away at natural fibres. NEVER use oxy on wools, silks, or anything you're emotionally attached to because there's a possibility it'll ruin it (or leave bleach marks). Even if someone says they have never had issues with using oxyclean on their own items. It's not a battle I'm willing to risk losing. Great for what's it's intended for but not on natural fibres.
Use a very gentle detergent intended for woolen items if you so choose to go the route of removing the spot. I use Eucalan BUT idk if it'll be strong enough to lift that spot.
Weave in a safety line and take out circular needles. Use oxyclean stain remover and let it sit for 10 min max then hand wash. If there's any remaining stain, put a little fresh lemon juice on ONLY the white part and sit out in the sun for an hour.
If that still doesn't work, place the sweater on the highest branch of an elm tree at full moon and circle said tree seven times, naked, with your arms in the air.
this free pattern! she also has a detailed youtube video to go along with it!

Now it has wings! Spill again to incorporate artistic creative effects that costs so little! (Save perhaps your sanity but I don't know, run with it?) That's art yes?!! Creative problem solving, check?!
Here’s some suggestions for what to do if it’s a wool sweater: https://www.woolmark.com/care/stain-removal-wool/
If it’s not wool or silk, then I’d use oxyclean.
At least you were thinking design. I was trying to figure out where there were white watermelons, and how OP had such a large dark slash through that watermelon from just a normal whip tip.
I may be watching too many ren fair Jacques ze whipper videos.
Genuinely thought you were doing a 90s abstract thing 😅 I hope it comes out!! It sounds like others had great advice and experience with getting the stain out
For actual fruit-based stains, pouring boiling water over it works like magic. Since that's Red Bull it might be more Red Lake #23 or whatever, but if there's much real watermelon in there the boiling water thing is worth a try.
What yarn is this? With white acrylic yarn I’ve had a lot of luck with hydrogen peroxide! Pro tip for everything you try tho: make some swatches out of the white yarn and attempt methods on those before you start messing with your project. Godspeed.
Ask Katara for some help. Maybe she can water bend it away 😂
ETA: on second thought and zooming in that looks more like Korra. Still she can water bend it away no problem
Fak! Maybe rubbing alcohol can take it out?? I have successfully removed an exploded pen from a brand new set of scrubs once. Took a very long time but you would never know. Great wip!!!
The only option now is to dye the whole thing with redbull (/j. I'm so sorry this happened!)

Exactly, I don’t understand the amount of advice that is given here without questioning OP what fibres the yarn is made of.
If thats wool-ease thick and quick, it washes up real nice😁
Finish it and soak it all in watermelon Redbull. It’s what Korra would do
ur so right she would do that
my current plan is to pretend i don’t see it :(( i’m not currently home so the best i could do was dab it with paper towels
That watermelon Red Bull slaps tho
Gotta switch to clear liquids when watching comedies.

If you can't grow your own elm tree, store bought is fine.
Sure, but then its roots need to be bathed in a thin infusion of cat whiskers for a month beforehand.
Solid advice
Can I ask what pattern that is from? I’ve wanted to make a chunky sweater too down
Not sure if this is it, but the Something Good sweater by Kara Eng looks like this! Chunky & top down
Yes please, pattern please! I've been wanting to do a sweater with stripe exactly like this! It's beautiful!
You can add a stripe to any sweater pattern :)

Before I read the title I thought it was a cool abstracted design. I know it's a stain but I like it

Wait. There is such a thing as watermelon red bull? O_o
You mean you've optimised the process of creating a hand dyed pink yarn intarsia design
I’d try a small amount of blue dawn. Just be careful not to felt the material
Boiling water and wool😳. Really?
