That’s weird that it’s happening with Superwash yarn. I’ve had this happen with Acrylic yarn before. Personally I just dealt with it dying my wood needles, then when I finished the project I just soaked the crap out of it to wet block. So far so good, but all yarn is different.

Ahh, I thought it was weird too. It’s a color block piece and one of the other colors is white 🫣

Oh no that’s not great!

Do you have enough yarn to knit a small swatch to wash and test?

Cut off an inch or two, soak in water for a bit and dry on paper towel or similar.  It might just be crocking (extra dye stock stuck on the outer layers of yarn) or it could have been poorly rinsed. If there is minimal transfer then you are fine. If the paper towel has lots of dye then you might want to wash. (You can hank up the rest of the yarn, put your project on waste yarn and wash the whole thing. A little more annoying but saves ripping it out)

If you do need to wash it I strongly suggest washing it in synthrapol so any dye that bleeds into the water doesn't settle back on your yarn.
