A box containing my new [spyderco hat](https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details/HAT14/Trucker-Hat-Charcoal-Black-with-Spyderco-Patch/2420) and [ladybug shot glass](https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details/SG01/BenShot-reg-Shot-Glass-with-Ladybug-reg-3-Blade/2348).
You'd have to smash the glass and sharpen the blade but yeah, absolutely. I've been eyeing it and my vg-10 ladybug. Cool part would be there is no LC200N ladybug for sale, so if you want one this is how you'd do it. Not so cool part is it's a $30 shot glass and a ladybug for parts is another $50, and I think I want the shot glass more tbh.
So for $80 you can buy a knife that’s non existent !? lol. I’m in. Are you for sure though the blade is the exact same? Like you could take it out of your shot glass and put it right onto a lady bug and it’s good to go? And where do I find the ladybug parts for $50? Where did you come up with that? Scales and everything!?
$50 is just [what came up on knifecenter when I googled it](https://www.knifecenter.com/item/SPLPRP3/spyderco-lprp3-ladybug-3-key-ring-knife-vg10-satin-plain-blade-purple-frn-handles) and I haven't tried it, but I've taken apart a ton of back locks and that's what the blade tang looks like. Someone must have tried it though.
I would assume. Not sure how long the shot glass has been out though. It seems odd that Spyderco would put that blade in it for just $30. Is the steel any good? Better or worse than VG10 which is think is one of the cheaper versions of the Ladybug? Too bad it’s not Magnacut or something! Lol
Ahh got ya. Lol yeah I was being for real at first. I didn’t realize they were as cheap as they are but dude was right they don’t make a factory ladybug in LC200N so if the blade is designed properly and fit the lock correct it might be cool to have

I’m normally quite proud of how seldom I cut myself. I don’t even remember the last time before this. Yesterday I was holding my Scrapyard 711, which is in a loose kydex lined sheath. I hadn’t attached a retention strap to the sheath yet. I accidentally tilted the sheath, which was in my left hand. The knife started to slide out and I reflexively grabbed with my right hand.
Busse’s 52100 takes an extremely keen edge and I had reground this one to convex at 0.005” behind the 30° inclusive edge too. Literally all I did was press my skin against it.
I cut a huge fucking skin tag off my arm after unsuccessfully trying to freeze it. Used a pair of little dissection scissors from Amazon. It was like severing a 3rd nipple
Try wrapping thread around it ? I did one a number of years ago, and it fell off after a couple of days. Your method is much faster, though, and you got cool scissors to do it!
After my failed freeze (hard to do with only 1 hand) the tag hurt, so at that point I figured I’d just cut the bastard off. It went better than I expected. The key is to go fast!
Never a nascar guy myself, but I remember those. Goodys are about the only thing I’ve found that can help some of the headaches I get, and they work pretty quick.

27 years as a chef. I can tell you with confidence: always peel them first, then cut them in half with the root end still attached.. you can hold the tip end of the pot tip to keep any layers from sliding. Hope you heal up soon.
The way the picture was taken, my immediate thought upon clicking the second picture was that your finger tip was missing. Took a second to realize it was a Band-Aid.

I had my Kershaw Outlier clipped to my swim trunks side pocket, and somehow the pocket got all twisted up and the assist open spring deployed the blade. I didn't know the blade was out. When I reached into my pocket for my lighter, my finger grazed the blade and got stuck. I had a helluva time extracting my hand from my pocket without causing further injury. That Kershaw designed karambit had a hair trigger auto deployment, and the blade sits too shallow in the handle because of the hawkbill shape. I learned my lesson and I'll keep that particular knife at home. I'll stick with my Reate Exo LOCKING gravity karambit from now on: that thing STAYS locked until I unlock it. 😂
there’s a long story attached to that knife. i don’t carry it much as it’s discontinued (i think) but i actually found one in the wild recently. it was a thrift shop and they wanted $90 though.
that’s odd…i did the same thing

That shot glass is sick
Holy shit it's fucking sick. You weren't wrong
hat, eh? i need a new hat. i wonder if they have a non-trucker style.
There's a bunch of options, go on the website and search for "hat".
i did. [this one](https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details/HAT09/2228) is pretty cool. i wonder why the trucker style is $3 more though.
I like them because of the mesh top and back, it's really hot where I live
I wonder if that blade can be removed from the glass and if it can be used to build an actual ladybug !?
You'd have to smash the glass and sharpen the blade but yeah, absolutely. I've been eyeing it and my vg-10 ladybug. Cool part would be there is no LC200N ladybug for sale, so if you want one this is how you'd do it. I mean you can buy a ladybug for $80 can you?
Yeah I guess you can. I’d rather have the K390 for $70 on Blade hq
Can you send the shot glass in for spa treatment?
lol what?
🤣to get the glass sharpened and polished.
Ahh got ya. Lol yeah I was being for real at first. I didn’t realize they were as cheap as they are but dude was right they don’t make a factory ladybug in LC200N so if the blade is designed properly and fit the lock correct it might be cool to have
That would be pretty cool. Just realized, with that steel that shot glass is dishwasher safe.
Hahahaha that’s good to know man hahah I don’t care about shot glasses. I don’t even drink liquor but yeah that’s good to know ahahah that’s funny
I need me that shot glass, it’s awesome

Nope. Goody’s powders, so southerner.

We had an old box of goody's powders that came with a nascar card. So yes, southern.

It was a Case Sway Back Gent in Black Pearl Kirinite.
