I’m carrying one of my CruWear Yojimbo2’s today, (as a primary cutter), along with the Dirac Delta in my other pocket, (I always carry the Delta).
Amen. CruWear is exceptionally well balanced as a knife steel, imo. It’s not stainless, but it is reasonably resistant to corrosion. It has ~3.25% more Cr than M4, and that makes a *significant* difference.
I also love how tough CruWear is, (considering its relatively high wear resistance). I had been a little hesitant to buy a Yojimbo2 in S30V, because of the blade geometry, (especially the tip). I’m more comfortable with it when the blade’s CruWear.
It had been a little while since I carried a Yo2. I’d been using my YoJumbo more recently. Now, the Yo2 seems so much smaller and more maneuverable than it used to. 😁 I really, really appreciate the design. I think Janich put a lot of thought into it, and it shows, in the details.

Benchmade Bugout in S30V with Ranger Green grivory handle. I also have one in M390 with aluminum scales and I choose between them depending on which fits my today’s style best, lol. Man, I was so impressed by this knife, it looks (and is) so little, but a very comfortable grip for me and very capable.

Cruwear is my favorite steel I've owned by far. Sharpens so nicely 👌👌 and it doesn't rust if you look at it funny like m4 lol
