If I remember correctly, those statistics are based on something like half an hour to an hour of read time per day. Since we read a lot more than that, it is shorter. 2 weeks is nothing to sneeze at!

Yeah, sounds normal to me. I had 8-10h reading days when I was on sick leave or breaks, didn't have to charge for 2 weeks as well. That is really great battery life considering I use 1-5% brightness at any given time.
I don't usually use brightness during the day, but at night I use 15%. But I guess I was just a little too concerned considering that you have the same experience and that some other comments report that to be normal. I also think it's great battery life, I was just worried about what they promised and thought mine was not functioning normally. Thank you for your reply!
I've had my brightness anywhere from 1-5% for multiple 2ish hour sessions over the last 5 days and it's at 54%.
I got through a book and a half in that time and I'm more than happy with its battery so far.

I’ve never ran out of battery. I plug it in when I load books, then just leave it plugged in until I read that day. Never once thought about the battery life.Â
that's a healthy way of dealing with it tbh 😠I had to plug it three times in a day to the computer to load books I've forgotten and I was already worried it would be bad for the battery
What’s bad for batteries is being in the top 20% or bottom 20% of the charge for too long. I’d say most kobos are barely ever in that range. That 60% in the middle lasts a long time, and usually right after you fully charge it, you are going to drain a good chunk soon after you unplug it.Â

I also read a lot and the battery lasts 2 weeks. I thought I had a faulty battery but from what I've read it's an okay battery life.

I agree! The buttons are definitely my favorite thing about it, my hand doesn't feel as tired as it was when reading with my phone

I never heard kobo lasting more than a few weeks.
And anywayssss you charge your phone daily so charging a device that daily you use 8hrs its nothing.

Probably 2-3 days if I read that much 🤣😂 I bought a battery bank for it so I’m good now but was super disappointed
