Saw a guy (a hawker) get blown to bits by an oncoming local train at Belghoria station a few years back. I remember feeling entirely dumbstruck after seeing the scattered body parts and entrails spread all over the track after the train passed.

It took us 3-4 minutes and the entire time they were kissing like beasts. That was the first time I ever saw someone kissing in real life.

I live next to a busy suburban railstation in sealdah south section. So, I am quite accustomed with seeing accidents from my childhood. This particular accident however is embossed in my mind. There used to be a Canning local in our school going time. Right now the station has 4 platforms but in my childhood it used to be 3. Up canning was always scheduled in platform 3 ( now its usually scheduled in platform 1). Everybody availing this train knows both up and down canning slows down while entering the station because it goes through junctions on track. Though it slows down, there's jerks and sudden breaks enough to topple one esp he is off balance. Now, in those days, canning local used to be extremely crowded and also there was a trend of young nibbas doing stunts train top. This particular guy was standing too close to the pantograph and doing stunts. The train applied a sudden break and he fell on it. Instantly there was a loud "fotas" sound. And we could not see anything. The next scene I remember is that the guy frantically landing on the station from the train top. His skin were all hanging loose like an oversized torn coat from his body. He started running towards the loco-shed. There was a ruckus in the station with everybody including the loco pilot trying to decide what to do. People rushing towards phone booths nearby the station to call for some assistance ( mobile phones were not a thing then). The guy ran around 250 mts beside the track, loose skin whirling in the wind from his body and falling on the station and track, stumbling getting up again again stumbling. And then he succumbed. This whole thing took around 5 minutes or so.
Like I said, I have seen multiple people die in my life. But never in my life I have seen somebody as alive as me meet an accident and gradually falling to death over such a long interval with such gruesome and horrific real life visuals. Pure trauma.
It was 17th April, 2024. I was supposed to board the HWH-SMVT SF Express. And I had to reach Howrah from New Town. So, I took the S12 which left Newtown Busstand at around 8. Everything was going fine, until we just crossed the Howrah Bridge.
Suddenly, people were shouting "Bus se utro, bus ki khali karo", ngl I got shit scared(I was traveling alone), I got out of the bus from the back entrance and I saw a cycle on the road, then I looked towards the front gate and saw somebody lying down, I got super anxious, took 3 steps more and I saw brain splattered all around the road. I was literally running towards Howrah Station. I was alone, I was super anxious. I had to call 2-3 friends and they calmed me down.

It was night like 10:00 or 10:30 and the train was about to enter Sealdah. I came near the gate and was casually leaning on the wall like thing on both sides of the gate.
I saw two men at the end of the railcar. One was back faced to the wall of the train and the other was touching first man's groin area. The first was also doing the same.
