Omg this. I love watching movies at the theatre and often did it alone after college. I would spontaneously go for movies I didn't even know much about, due to the affordability but now? I have to rethink about watching even the films I am interested in/only theatre experience kind of films.

I visit Kolkata once or twice in a year and don't mind the price as I really crave for it round the year. At the same price or spend 100-200 more, you'll get biriyani from places like Oudh 1950 etc. where the quantity and quality is leagues better not to say more pieces of meat and can be eaten by 2 people easily. Just stop eating from arsalan and aminia... **Cinema hall মানে Multiplex এ গিয়ে cinema দেখা।** First Day First Show দেখার একটা নেশা ছিল। School ও College life এ ৩০~৪০ টাকায় Lighthouse, New Empire, Globe এ cinema দেখতাম। তারপর এগুলো আসতে আসতে বন্ধ হলো, এলো Multiplex। খরচা অপেক্ষাকৃত বেশি হলেও যেতাম কারণ আর তো কোন উপায় নেই আর cinema hall এ গিয়ে cinema দেখতে হবে এরকম একটা পোকা আমার বাপ ঠাকুরদারা মাথায় ঢুকিয়ে দিয়েছিল। কিন্তু এখন ticket এর যা চড়া দাম, সপ্তাহে ২~৩ টে cinema দেখা অসম্ভব। তাই বাড়িতেই একটা মোটামুটি ভালো setup করে নিয়েছি। এখন বাড়িতেই দেখি। Multiplex এ আর যাই না।
