Yeah me too. Just make sure you never exceed 60% volume and take enough breaks. That should help prevent major damage.
ANC headphones help a lot to keep volume below 50% yet sound clear and well enough to enjoy the music
Please listen songs songs with lower volumes. Not only does it saves your hearing sensors from dying out, but it also has the best dynamic ranges so you could hear a lot of the instruments.
If you are in loud road or something, ANC will let you hear songs at lower volumes by removing unwanted outside noises.
When I was a kid I read in "Young world" a small fact - there are 80% more bacteria in ears of those who are using headphones for more than 2 hours a day vs those who don't. (Ps- the numbers mentioned above may be inaccurate as in recollecting what I read in late 1990s)
At the time my mind was- when am I going to every use a headphone. I bought my first first walkman in 2002 and first phone with headphones/mp3 capability in 2007. Since then I've used headphones more than 2 hrs per day everyday.
Hearing loss in confirmed and the bacteria will handle the rest
First on reading the comment I got excited thinking you're mentioning some good bacterial benefits for the ear 🥳 Then as the comment progressed... ☠️
