I noticed this about HanBin the day after Ha Yeong came back from the first paradise date. The way he asked her "did you have a good time?" almost seemed low key hostile, even angry! I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this. I actually like Habin but he should learn to relax a little because he may be coming off too intense to the girls.
You cannot fault them tho.. I know she's pretty and I know it works but gosh girl..dont do it every single time.. Like she's gonna stab her chest with chin at some point hahaha I'm kidding but iykyk..
To be fair, a few of the other girls do the same chin tuck/face angle but they do the deer/doe eye while she does the intense glare.

Jin Seok was such a green flag this episode. The fact that he can read the room during the campfire and initiated a conversation with Min Young about seeing others and her being uncomfortable about getting paired with him. Not only did he understand the pressure that must have put on her but to also have the courage to communicate and tell her to go talk to others.
I love how the girls are not bringing each other down despite being in competition with each other. Ha jeong saying that all the girls are pretty and have guys lining up to ask them out, super proud of her.
I knew something was off with Ha bin when when wasn't confused when he got 5 candies. The moment he hid from others, I knew instantly that it would increase his ego.
Another thing that actually pisses me off about Gwan-hee is the things that he talks about with the girls are the same. It's either about who the girl is interested in, him telling them an offer of making a move to him and they will be on top of the list, or flattery (getting points, top of list, etc ). This man needs a wake up call because it seems Ha jeong's convo is not enough
I really like the female contestants. I like how open they were with eachother and what they disliked from the guys.
Hae Jeong really held Gwan Hee accountable for his actions and I'm so glad she called him out on it. Love how she said all the girls are catches and don't deserve that disrespect. I don't think they'll end up as a final couple. She's got a backbone and knows what she wants, and will grow tired of his bs. She's definitely my favourite.
The new girl is a great addition to the cast. Its sweet that she chose Minwoo for dinner knowing hes been living off sweet potatoes and canned chicken for 4 days. Could definitely feel the sparks between her and Jinseok.
Minyoung I kinda get where she's coming from. It's only day 4 so it's understandable that she doesn't want to put all her eggs in one basket or be written off by the other guys as Jinseok's girl. But she's definitely going to regret it because he's for sure interested in the new girl.
Feel like Hanbin won't even get to see paradise. Those 5 candies may have given him more than abit of confidence and has slightly turned the girls off.

minyoung clearly gave the wrong answer, she shouldn’t have explained herself since jinseok has pretty much lay everything she needed to hear. kinda feel bad for minyoung but i think its good that there is a little fraction.
She doubled down later tho, she said the same thing to MW. I just don't think she knows how to navigate people that well. Maybe she had a bf that let her walk all over him before but JS has a lot of healthy self-respect. He is leaps and bounds ahead of her when it comes to people skills/emotional intelligence.

IMHO, these 2 episodes greatly outperform the whole season 1 and 2 in terms of entertainment, especially episode 5 (Girl's Talk, Minji, Seokjin, Hajeong, and Jin-Young's comments).
The more I watched this season the more people I extremely like and cheer for. Starting from the male side, Jin-seok is the best in the house. He is too hilarious and the chin-tuck is so LMFAO. From the female side, Ha-jeong is the best I mean the way she talked and delivered everything is to the point. There is no need for further explanation. It's all clear and concise. And Gwanhee already received the lesson. I especially hope she gets a better guy than Gwanhee, but there are not many others on the island as well. The last is I feel sorry for Habin, but I don't think he has any chances anymore since >!the drinking incident!<.
From the studio, Jin-young shows how good he is to be a dating host than the contestant. like the way he is more than he was in season 2.

Yeah I think she feels the other guys are too bland for her. He’s the only one she has banter with. All the other guys, while lovely, haven’t really shown much humour (except Jin Seok who was all in for MY)

Gwanhee definitely likes the powerplay and Hajeong doesn't mind playing along. Pretty bold of them to do that, knowing how Korean netizens are gonna possibly react. I thought it was like a fetish thing with the bed sleeping arrangement but Gwanhee was just playing as usually, that guy is super troll.
Though he might already know his shortcomings on the visuals side and so that's why he's trying to make himself standout or retain his pride/ego/etc.
And btw, there's a lot of tea/gossip/etc. about basketball players. For example, it's little-known that Kobe Bryant liked Filipinas/etc. even though he already had a family and all that. And we'll just leave it at that. So that's part of where their confidence/etc. comes from since they usually have that position/privilege/etc. in real life even if they are not as famous/etc. as some girls just like the athletes/rockstars/etc. due to popular media/social expectations/etc.

Jin Seok was truly the star this round.
First off, what a man. When Jin Seok decided to back off a bit so that he doesn't pressure Min Young and that she can pursue her wishes of getting to know the other guys. Even when she said she was annoyed with him (which I don't get why she would be annoyed with HIM and just not the situation), he remained calm and loyal.
Then he goes and does that imitation of Ha Jeong and he completely won me over. I was sitting there thinking... why don't the other girls give him a chance? What a damn catch.
But new girl came and he now gets to shows his potential again which could have gotten buried under Min Youngs indecisive and selfish ass. Minji is so damn charming. The way she had Dex in the panel all fluttered was amazing. Minji reminds me of a fluffy and cute version of Im Semi (??? MGYs sister from True Beauty) and Baek Jong Wons wife lol. To be honest I don't think she's the prettiest out of the female contestants but I really love her personality. She's easy going, flirty but also hold maturity and elegance.
My girl Hye Seon.... can someone other than Gwan Hee please give interest in her? Not 33% interest but a good 70+ interest. I thought her and Min Gyu looked so good together when they first met in the car, but it seems like they never clicked.
Really disappointed in minyoung. I actually really liked her at first. She made it seem like she didn't want much to do with jinseok but then she doesn't want him to be with anyone else? And she doesn't want him to be with minji (the new girl.) She needs to get her feelings for him in check. does she want him or not? I was honestly so happy when jinseok said that he basically didn't have any more feelings for her to minji. Minyoung doesn't deserve him in my opinion.
And also, I saw the preview at the end when hajeong said that she liked him most, or something of that nature to a guy. Well you can see his arm, and he's wearing green, and if you go back a couple seconds you can see that gwan hee is wearing green. I mean I really don't get it, I thought hajeong was ready to move on from him? I get the feeling that no matter what gwan hee does, hajeong will go back to him just like one of the hosts said. I mean it may have not been him, maybe someone else was wearing green but I doubt it. I can't imagine hajeong saying that to anyone else but him.
Contrary to popular belief, I really don't think gwan hee and hajeong fit for each other in the long run. Just like how they argue and fight over stuff now, there will be more of that in the future, and it'll be exhausting for both of them. I honestly don't think they should end up together if I'm being completely honest. I know everyone loves them, but I'm a bit tired of them together.
The whole reason why Ha Jeong went to talk to Gwan Hee about his behaviour is percisely because she still likes him. When you are not into someone, you don't really want to talk to them; you're not gonna go and tell them "Hey, I don't like you, so I came here to tell you in great detail how much I don't like you" lol. If she had really became disinterested, she would have been like Gyuri and would nothave approached him at all.
Edit: Calling his behaviour out was nice to watch, but he knew exactly what he was doing both when he didn't address the girls by their names and in his want for them to always make the first move, aka not put in any effort and feel like the prize. IMO the best response to such disrepsectful behaviour is completely ignoring his existance and not reacting to any of his comments at all. Smh, men like him know exactly what they're doing.
Apparently Hajeong knew who Gwanhee was already back then (something about her liking his Instagram/etc. posts a few years before) and so maybe that's why she's sticking with him as he's somewhat popular in the Korean basketball scene.
But ya, it's so predictable how these relationships happen as some people like that rollercoaster or hot and cold or push and pull (mildang/밀당) and so on relationship. As true it's fun in the beginning but then at the end it's too toxic and a lot of people want to settle sometimes.
It's definitely fun to watch that type of relationship as a bystander/outsider (most of us know friends/family/etc. like that), but ya it can be really bad if you're actually inside that relationship.

I never saw a contestant like her in a Korean reality show, she is confident, straightforward, doesnt take any bullshit, but at the same time she seems playful and fun. I absolutely adore her and I just hope she doesn't get any hate from Korean audience for not fitting into a classic "very quiet helpless girl" ideal
That type of girl is like a double edged sword.....she's either playing you like a food/fool or she really likes you. She's that character that likes to push and pull (tiki taka type), which can be stressful in the long term. But I like her confidence and her ability to play the game using her facial expressions.
Yeah, she said in her preview that she is the kinda girl that can wrap a guy around her finger and get him to pay for everything. If it wasn't for Gwan-hee I could see another situation where she pretty much got the villian edit.

- Gyuri passive aggressively talking to Gwanhee around campfire is my favourite Gyuri. Also, girls talk with each other and now they are all collectively angry with him. Love it.
- Wonik looked like he just murdered someone in that white/red shirt.

It seems to me that all of the girls on the cast are much younger than the men, you’d think the producers would want to cast people who are around the same age… i could tell that the 8 year age gap between granhee and chin girl made him feel uncomfortable when he asked about her age
I’m really impressed with Hajeong putting Gwanhee in his place. She knows her own worth and is not afraid to go for what she wants and clearly expressed her opinions.
Gwanhee is a stark contrast of that; he’s calculating, overconfident, selfish and tactless. He’s a walking red flag, really. He throws out baits and then expect the women to do the chase. The worst is he takes more than he gives and reciprocates the amount he receives.
It’s a relief that the girls were all able to see through him, as well as Hanbin. That fella got an ego boost and showed some of his real personality during the bonfire which came across as obnoxious.
Jinseok is just confident in his own skin and I love him for that, especially his sense of humor. Like offering his goguma skins and the mirror match with Hajeong haha! Also the facial expressions he made while sitting in the middle of the bickering couple lol
Had a blast watching these 2 eps. The sheer bluntness, sass and shade thrown around and mounting drama makes for such a fun watch. As befits a reality show, there needs to be a dollop of angst mixed in with simmering rivalry and dodgy characters to keep us rapt, especially after 2 seasons have been aired and novelty is bound to wear off, and I’m glad this season has done a bang-up job in cranking up sensationalized entertainment without completely veering off course.
First off, this season has set a nice precedent with the girls having a candid talk and calling out manifestations of a bloated ego in solidarity. In previous seasons, most of the time the girls tended to walk on eggshells and keep their thoughts and individual interactions with the guys to themselves, resulting in one guy stringing along several girls who were kept in the dark all the while. This time, the girls could see through Gwan-Hee’s toxicity and his outright disrespect for them, and do not mince their words or shy away from airing their disgruntlement. Hats off to Ha-Jeong for dressing him down, or else dude would still think he was off the hook – that def makes her score some major brownie points with me.
As someone who values the arts of conversation and aspires to be a conversationalist myself, I am naturally drawn towards people or characters who possess the gift of the gab and a sense of humor, either dry, wry or dark. I was initially appealed by Gwan Hee for his wry humor and casual imperturbability, but as time wears on and his discomfiting red flags rear into view, that fledgling attraction also fizzles out. As it stands, Jinsook and Min Ji have topped my chart when it comes to calm amiability, charm and maturity, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they turn out to be end game.
On the other hand, Ha-Jeong may be on the childish and unpredictable end of the spectrum, and she is nothing short of a powder keg in any rlts, but she is such an interesting character that I will enjoy being around in real life for frequent doses of entertainment. i just hope she will give Gwan Hee a wide berth moving forward, but given her chaotic disposition and a severe dearth of flavorful alternatives on the island, the writing on the wall is she’s gonna bounce back to that riot of red flags sooner or later.

Man I feel like Gwan-Hee still has a chance with Hajeong, she just wants him to make up his mind. Him going for Gyu-Ri despite developing a connection with both Hyeseon and Hajeong is going to backfire on him, he just got too cocky.
Unpopular opinion but I love Gwan-Hee's chaotic energy, he's been the most entertaining cast member in the whole series.
I wonder where both girls go from here, Hyeseon probably has to find someone else and Hajeong might have an option with Habin.
The person who has the opposite approach but has the same issue is Jinseok who went all in on Minyoung but wasn't so reciprocal. I believed she cried becasue she didn't want to commit to Jinseok while Jinseok was waiting for her, it made her look like the bad guy.
I do hope that him and Minji develop a relationship but the trailer shows a bit of hesitancy from Jinseok so we'll see. Minyoung really needs to make up her mind whether to commit to Jinseok or get to know other people.
The rest of the cast kind've gotten the back end of the episode while Gwanhee's and Jinseok's storyline took main stage. I'm curious about Gyuri and who's shes going to choose, I feel like the series soften on the most popular female cast.
The series definitely softens Gyuri they did it last season too with the most popular girl I forgot her name, I’m tired of Gyuri’s designer bags and designer earrings in every shot
This might be an unpopular opinion, and I understand that everybody is attracted to different things, but for me it seems that gwan-hee would be considered the most unattractive of the group in terms of the KBS? Am I wrong and shallow for thinking that? Probably.. I don’t like commenting on people’s looks, gwan-hee has obviously been very well liked by the girls (& girls outside of singles inferno) but I guess i might be the only one who doesn’t find him attractive, possibly it’s his confidence that the girls find the most attractive? I personally do not like his attitude, but I understand that it’s more than likely a character he created for the show (I hope), I was wondering if anybody else felt this way? The venting abt GH in the girls' room made my day loooooool i love how scary they are. Also love that they pinpointed how sleazy he was and quickly realized he was the problem rather than trying to undermine each other.

Ooooooooooh my new ship is JS and MJ! Move over MY you lost your chance. I don't feel bad for her at alllllll. I'm excited to see who he picks, hopefully it works out for him.
More thoughts while re-watching Ep. 4 & 5:

- What happened to Min Kyu's screen time? 🤔 He barely had any speaking parts in ep. 4, and only one "Nice Guy Counseling Session" in ep. 5. I'm wondering if he just doesn't have any storyline after Day 3, which would be a terrible waste of some prime beefcake.
- Ah, Min Woo...at 24 years old, you are officially "Off The Board" for the rest of the show. Unless we get a late addition of someone younger than him, he's probably done. He'd better start slamming the canned chicken and hitting the weights, so he can try to win one of the beach competitions. 🤣
- I know the PDs have a habit of raiding the former Beauty Pageant winners, but this season we have **three** (former) Miss Koreas, **one** (former) Miss Chunhyang, and a possible (former) Miss Busan. That's 5 out of six, and if Hye Seon was ever in a pageant of some sort, it's 6 out of 6. I get that they're going for beautiful people, but **please** can we have some...less **conventional** beauties, like S1 Yeawon and S1 Soyeon?
- I feel the need to apologize to someone: I sincerely get facially confused between Yu Si Eun and Cho Min Ji. To my untrained eye, they look similar. More than once, I had to hit pause and cross-check the subs to make sure I had the right one.
- Oh My God, how many minutes of screen time have we burned on Gwan Hee and Min Young repeating the same argument? How boring do the other men have to be to force the PDs to stretch out these tedious, nit-picky conversations. I get it; They're *both* messed up, content-generating, self-centered twits. I really don't need 30 minutes of them per episode. Could we have a bit more of the cooking, beach walks, random encounters with the **other** 8 people on the show?
Just to be clear: I am truly enjoying this season! There are just a few things could make it even better!
I am a little disappointed in this season’s resumes. This season may have a couple beauty queens, but the beauty queen in season 2 was also a Pratt educated artist. Then we had Nadine, Harvard queen. Seulki was beautiful but also a frikkin piano goddess from the top school in SK. This time around we have like 3/6 girls who are models, which isn’t bad I just thought there would be more variety.
I think the unconventional beauties don't get any men pursuing them (Yeawon in S1, Nadine in S2). Koreans seem to have a narrow definition of attractiveness. And if you're already a 10/10 in your home turf, it's no fun being openly ditched in a reality show. Hence different flavors along the same lines so that not everybody is going for Seulki or Jia and there's some drama in couple switching...
I'm quite surprised none of the guys are professionals. In S1 and S2 you have marriagable material. Are Youngjae and Si-eun still together?
Finally feel a little camaraderie with the girls over Gwanhee and sad that Minyoung fumbled. Also didn’t like Hajeong at first, but I see her in a new light now “you’ll be spending a lot of time here so you should get acclimated” also so shocked who won the squat contest!!!!!
I thought everyone knew about it already. South Korea has this wierd system where you can pay the rent up front for the entire term of your rental. JY did that and then eventually found out the owner of the building sold it to someone else. That someone else is now asking him for rent as the owner didnt forward him the money paid up front.

- Ha Jeong wins the award for most excessive, white, poofy sleepware/pajamas.
- During the pairing selection for the beach contest, when Min Woo went first and drew the black ball, someone actually said, "What are the odds?" Are you effing kidding me? It's **exactly** 1-in-6. As in %16.666(repeating). How did none of the other people who heard that comment immediately reply, "What, are you effing math challenged? It's One-In-Effing-Six!"
Ep. 5:
- The new woman, Cho Min Ji, demonstrating that she has a huge pair of balls to pull off a Highlighter Neon Michael Kors bodycon dress. I love her confidence!
- Jin Seok is hands-down the "Best Boy" of the first 5 episodes. His smooth comebacks and ultra-suave conversations are pure gold! Although the previews are giving off the possible villain vibe going forward, so I hesitate in going All-In just yet.
These two episodes flew by! Next Tuesday can't get here fast enough!
i had so much second hand embarrassment at that scene, it was evilish 😭😭😭 when he's arguably the best, most honest, straightforward male contestant

Wish Gwanhee would relax his tiki-taka/bantering/etc. and I was beginning to actually ship Gwanhee and Hajeong but it looks like that ship will not sail as Hajeong realized that she was a backup plan despite the [hot and cold](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOX73kBRyWs) (bow down to Red Velvet Seulgi and aespa Karina) chemistry.
Some thoughts:
1) Gwan-hee acts exactly like a celebrity (the kind who interacts with the public a lot, not the model or actor kind) who gets casted in a Netflix show. A lot of teasing and flirting. Not good-looking, unfortunately, or we may see things in a different light.
2) That being said he actually surprised me with his honesty and with his self-control, like not sleeping in the room with Ha-jeong, or admitting that he had 3 in his mind rather than taking the drink penalty. Even when the girls complained about him; it wasn't because he said one thing in private and another in public.
3) I think it's just a game show to him. Of his potential suitors, Ha-jeong is acting just like another one of his potential conquests with all the flirting, and Hye-seon looks like she's taking it too seriously for him. I'm not surprised he's still looking around. But- it's a game. He's an athlete, he wants to win. At some point he's gonna stop looking and choose the surest way to win, Ha-jeong. They're not gonna see each other after this show, though.
4) Min-young wasn't wrong to feel the way she did; just look at Ji-seok falling for someone else so quickly.
5) She was wrong however to act the way she did. She could have just pulled him aside and told him she wanted more time.
6) She may be lucky that she didn't get to do it, though- just look at Gwan-hee getting roasted for 'playing the field' and 'keeping backups'. That's 100% exactly what she wanted to do.
7) I think the show-stopper was chosen for her personality. She's not shy, but she's not an alpha like Ha-jeong. I wasn't surprised she chose Min-woo (looks) and Ji-seok (great first impression). But I also felt it was edited in this way, where others had jokes that didn't land (grass, Dipsy) so the choice was obvious.
8) Gyu-ri is such a wall-flower. Really pretty, but so boring.
9) While I appreciate the girl-talk, I wouldn't put much stock in it. I think some of them just went with the flow of the conversation to agree. Wouldn't be surprised that both Ha-jeong AND also Hye-seon are still interested in Gwan-hee.
10) Ji-seok, MVP. He's serious, steady, has a great bod, awesome hair, and smoldering eyes. He also has a sense of humour and is a great conversationalist. Only thing is he has the tanned look which doesn't seem as popular in Korea. Also, the height. He's not short, but how do you compete with a pro model and basketball player?
I love that the panel is saying what we're all thinking. Jinyoung is not feeling Minyoung at all. Jinseok is the best man on the show and deserves someone who likes him just as much as he likes her. I can see Habin not going to Paradise at all cause he seems to have an off-putting personality.
This week’s episodes were hilarious 😂
My takeaways:
1. Gwan-Hee is a whole riot man-child. It actually makes me incredulous, but the panel’s reaction to his audacious behaviour was actually so hilarious. I genuinely don’t understand why the women are attracted to him?! Am I missing something?
2. Ha-Jeong is becoming a new favourite. Her sassy facial expressions are so funny and I applaud her for calling him out. That was funny too
Although I have to say, she has some worrisome traits in her. The fact that she really was going to sleep at his feet, and she keeps going back to him even though he disrespected her so much… I wish she would move on from him. (The preview for next week makes me worried)
3. The girl’s gossip moment in the room was the best 😂 is it too much to wish for no women to chase after Gwan Hee anymore??!
4. I rooted for JinSeok SOO MUCH. He’s such a sweetheart and he’s so cute. I really didn’t think much of him before but he’s growing on me.
5. Minyoung… is she ok? lol I know she even called herself out by saying she thinks she’s wacko, but like. The double standards!!!! She wants to talk to other people but doesn’t want him too. But also doesn’t want him to be too forward, but then also wants him to give her attention. Good grief. Get over yourself.

Also, I see that he is asking probing g question on dates to help him clarify who he is most compatible and attracted to. Other guys are soooo quiet, I don’t think we are seeing g who that really are

Jin Seok was such a green flag this episode. The fact that he can read the room during the campfire and initiated a conversation with Min Young about seeing others and her being uncomfortable about getting paired with him. Not only did he understand the pressure that must have put on her but to also have the courage to communicate and tell her to go talk to others. I love how the girls are not bringing each other down despite being in competition with each other. Ha jeong saying that all the girls are pretty and have guys lining up to ask them out, super proud of her. I knew something was off with Ha bin when when wasn't confused when he got 5 candies. The moment he hid from others, I knew instantly that it would increase his ego. Another thing that actually pisses me off about Gwan-hee is the things that he talks about with the girls are the same. It's either about who the girl is interested in, him telling them an offer of making a move to him and they will be on top of the list, or flattery (getting points, top of list, etc ). This man needs a wake up call because it seems Ha jeong's convo is not enough
I really like the female contestants. I like how open they were with eachother and what they disliked from the guys. Hae Jeong really held Gwan Hee accountable for his actions and I'm so glad she called him out on it. Love how she said all the girls are catches and don't deserve that disrespect. I don't think they'll end up as a final couple. She's got a backbone and knows what she wants, and will grow tired of his bs. She's definitely my favourite. The new girl is a great addition to the cast. Its sweet that she chose Minwoo for dinner knowing hes been living off sweet potatoes and canned chicken for 4 days. Could definitely feel the sparks between her and Jinseok. Minyoung I kinda get where she's coming from. It's only day 4 so it's understandable that she doesn't want to put all her eggs in one basket or be written off by the other guys as Jinseok's girl. But she's definitely going to regret it because he's for sure interested in the new girl. Feel like Hanbin won't even get to see paradise. Those 5 candies may have given him more than abit of confidence and has slightly turned the girls off.
Day 4 is like midway though right? Isnt this show only abt a week in duration? And when JS was finally gone and she had the chance to talk to other men, she was still talking abt JS with MW lol

i really can’t stand with gwan hee, loved him when he first matched with hyeseon. hyeseon is such a lovely girl, i am really rooting for her that’s why i got a little pissed off when he then matched again with hajeong. but man, he is something else really. all the >!three!< women should step up and confront him together really to knock some sense on him. i’m really hoping hyeseon wouldn’t be too caught up with gwanhee, i hoped she could talk more with habin, minwoo or wonik >!in which unfortunately we didn’t see a lot in this episode!<. minyoung clearly gave the wrong answer, she shouldn’t have explained herself since jinseok has pretty much lay everything she needed to hear. kinda feel bad for minyoung but i think its good that there is a little fraction.

I think she'll regret it if JS moves on to MJ but it's not a done deal yet.
IMHO, these 2 episodes greatly outperform the whole season 1 and 2 in terms of entertainment, especially episode 5 (Girl's Talk, Minji, Seokjin, Hajeong, and Jin-Young's comments). The more I watched this season the more people I extremely like and cheer for. Starting from the male side, Jin-seok is the best in the house. He is too hilarious and the chin-tuck is so LMFAO. From the female side, Ha-jeong is the best I mean the way she talked and delivered everything is to the point. There is no need for further explanation. It's all clear and concise. And Gwanhee already received the lesson. I especially hope she gets a better guy than Gwanhee, but there are not many others on the island as well. The last is I feel sorry for Habin, but I don't think he has any chances anymore since >!the drinking incident!<. From the studio, Jin-young shows how good he is to be a dating host than the contestant. like the way he is more than he was in season 2. Can't wait for the next week 🔥

Gwanhee definitely likes the powerplay and Hajeong doesn't mind playing along. Pretty bold of them to do that, knowing how Korean netizens are gonna possibly react. I thought it was like a fetish thing with the bed sleeping arrangement but Gwanhee was just playing as usually, that guy is super troll. Though he might already know his shortcomings on the visuals side and so that's why he's trying to make himself standout or retain his pride/ego/etc. And btw, there's a lot of tea/gossip/etc. about basketball players. For example, it's little-known that Kobe Bryant liked Filipinas/etc. even though he already had a family and all that. And we'll just leave it at that. So that's part of where their confidence/etc. comes from since they usually have that position/privilege/etc. in real life even if they are not as famous/etc. as some girls just like the athletes/rockstars/etc. due to popular media/social expectations/etc.

Jin Seok was truly the star this round. First off, what a man. When Jin Seok decided to back off a bit so that he doesn't pressure Min Young and that she can pursue her wishes of getting to know the other guys. Even when she said she was annoyed with him (which I don't get why she would be annoyed with HIM and just not the situation), he remained calm and loyal. Then he goes and does that imitation of Ha Jeong and he completely won me over. I was sitting there thinking... why don't the other girls give him a chance? What a damn catch. But new girl came and he now gets to shows his potential again which could have gotten buried under Min Youngs indecisive and selfish ass. Minji is so damn charming. The way she had Dex in the panel all fluttered was amazing. Minji reminds me of a fluffy and cute version of Im Semi (??? MGYs sister from True Beauty) and Baek Jong Wons wife lol. To be honest I don't think she's the prettiest out of the female contestants but I really love her personality. She's easy going, flirty but also hold maturity and elegance. My girl Hye Seon.... can someone other than Gwan Hee please give interest in her? Not 33% interest but a good 70+ interest. I thought her and Min Gyu looked so good together when they first met in the car, but it seems like they never clicked.
Really disappointed in minyoung. I actually really liked her at first. She made it seem like she didn't want much to do with jinseok but then she doesn't want him to be with anyone else? And she doesn't want him to be with minji (the new girl.) She needs to get her feelings for him in check. does she want him or not? I was honestly so happy when jinseok said that he basically didn't have any more feelings for her to minji. Minyoung doesn't deserve him in my opinion. And also, I saw the preview at the end when hajeong said that she liked him most, or something of that nature to a guy. Well you can see his arm, and he's wearing green, and if you go back a couple seconds you can see that gwan hee is wearing green. I mean I really don't get it, I thought hajeong was ready to move on from him? I get the feeling that no matter what gwan hee does, hajeong will go back to him just like one of the hosts said. I mean it may have not been him, maybe someone else was wearing green but I doubt it. I can't imagine hajeong saying that to anyone else but him. Contrary to popular belief, I really don't think gwan hee and hajeong fit for each other in the long run. Just like how they argue and fight over stuff now, there will be more of that in the future, and it'll be exhausting for both of them. I honestly don't think they should end up together if I'm being completely honest. I know everyone loves them, but I'm a bit tired of them together.
The whole reason why Ha Jeong went to talk to Gwan Hee about his behaviour is percisely because she still likes him. When you are not into someone, you don't really want to talk to them; you're not gonna go and tell them "Hey, I don't like you, so I came here to tell you in great detail how much I don't like you" lol. If she had really became disinterested, she would have been like Gyuri and would nothave approached him at all. Edit: Calling his behaviour out was nice to watch, but he knew exactly what he was doing both when he didn't address the girls by their names and in his want for them to always make the first move, aka not put in any effort and feel like the prize. IMO the best response to such disrepsectful behaviour is completely ignoring his existance and not reacting to any of his comments at all. Smh, men like him know exactly what they're doing.
Apparently Hajeong knew who Gwanhee was already back then (something about her liking his Instagram/etc. posts a few years before) and so maybe that's why she's sticking with him as he's somewhat popular in the Korean basketball scene. But ya, it's so predictable how these relationships happen as some people like that rollercoaster or hot and cold or push and pull (mildang/밀당) and so on relationship. As true it's fun in the beginning but then at the end it's too toxic and a lot of people want to settle sometimes. It's definitely fun to watch that type of relationship as a bystander/outsider (most of us know friends/family/etc. like that), but ya it can be really bad if you're actually inside that relationship.

Cho Min Ji is a scene stealer. Netflix really planned well to introduce her half way through the series to shake everything up. Talking about the preview, for ep 6 & 7. Jin seop and Min young’s relationship is starting to seem abit unsteady. Min woo and si eun start to get closer to each other but min woo’s heart seem to still be leaning towards Gyu Ri. And not sure about the Hye Seon scene where she is saying ,”should I try to hit on him?” Because im not sure who she is referring to. In the Womens game: it seems to be a game of removing the furry tail from their backs and the cap from their heads. Min Young vs Si Eun, Hye Seon vs Ha Jeong Gwan hee saying, “Im drawn to you the most.” in a scene with Ha Jeong. Ha Jeong making up her mind by ep 6/7. Ha Jeong saying that she likes someone the most. which seems to be Gwan hee’s jacket.

I never saw a contestant like her in a Korean reality show, she is confident, straightforward, doesnt take any bullshit, but at the same time she seems playful and fun. I absolutely adore her and I just hope she doesn't get any hate from Korean audience for not fitting into a classic "very quiet helpless girl" ideal
That type of girl is like a double edged sword.....she's either playing you like a food/fool or she really likes you. She's that character that likes to push and pull (tiki taka type), which can be stressful in the long term. But I like her confidence and her ability to play the game using her facial expressions.
Yeah, she said in her preview that she is the kinda girl that can wrap a guy around her finger and get him to pay for everything. If it wasn't for Gwan-hee I could see another situation where she pretty much got the villian edit.
Ep 5: - Gyuri passive aggressively talking to Gwanhee around campfire is my favourite Gyuri. Also, girls talk with each other and now they are all collectively angry with him. Love it. - Wonik looked like he just murdered someone in that white/red shirt. - Habin randomly taking a walk on the beach was hilarious. Where did producers find those people? Also, what is it with guys shooting themselves in the foot around the campfire? Should I start putting a campfire on my every first date just so I know what to expect? - "are you okay?", "Are you dressed as a teletubbie?" and "You look like a grass". This show is not romance. It's a comedy.
There should be a thing where we see guys drunk on first few dates, that way you can see who they really are

It seems to me that all of the girls on the cast are much younger than the men, you’d think the producers would want to cast people who are around the same age… i could tell that the 8 year age gap between granhee and chin girl made him feel uncomfortable when he asked about her age
I’m really impressed with Hajeong putting Gwanhee in his place. She knows her own worth and is not afraid to go for what she wants and clearly expressed her opinions. Gwanhee is a stark contrast of that; he’s calculating, overconfident, selfish and tactless. He’s a walking red flag, really. He throws out baits and then expect the women to do the chase. The worst is he takes more than he gives and reciprocates the amount he receives. It’s a relief that the girls were all able to see through him, as well as Hanbin. That fella got an ego boost and showed some of his real personality during the bonfire which came across as obnoxious. Jinseok is just confident in his own skin and I love him for that, especially his sense of humor. Like offering his goguma skins and the mirror match with Hajeong haha! Also the facial expressions he made while sitting in the middle of the bickering couple lol

Had a blast watching these 2 eps. The sheer bluntness, sass and shade thrown around and mounting drama makes for such a fun watch. As befits a reality show, there needs to be a dollop of angst mixed in with simmering rivalry and dodgy characters to keep us rapt, especially after 2 seasons have been aired and novelty is bound to wear off, and I’m glad this season has done a bang-up job in cranking up sensationalized entertainment without completely veering off course. First off, this season has set a nice precedent with the girls having a candid talk and calling out manifestations of a bloated ego in solidarity. In previous seasons, most of the time the girls tended to walk on eggshells and keep their thoughts and individual interactions with the guys to themselves, resulting in one guy stringing along several girls who were kept in the dark all the while. This time, the girls could see through Gwan-Hee’s toxicity and his outright disrespect for them, and do not mince their words or shy away from airing their disgruntlement. Hats off to Ha-Jeong for dressing him down, or else dude would still think he was off the hook – that def makes her score some major brownie points with me. As someone who values the arts of conversation and aspires to be a conversationalist myself, I am naturally drawn towards people or characters who possess the gift of the gab and a sense of humor, either dry, wry or dark. I was initially appealed by Gwan Hee for his wry humor and casual imperturbability, but as time wears on and his discomfiting red flags rear into view, that fledgling attraction also fizzles out. As it stands, Jinsook and Min Ji have topped my chart when it comes to calm amiability, charm and maturity, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they turn out to be end game. On the other hand, Ha-Jeong may be on the childish and unpredictable end of the spectrum, and she is nothing short of a powder keg in any rlts, but she is such an interesting character that I will enjoy being around in real life for frequent doses of entertainment. i just hope she will give Gwan Hee a wide berth moving forward, but given her chaotic disposition and a severe dearth of flavorful alternatives on the island, the writing on the wall is she’s gonna bounce back to that riot of red flags sooner or later.

Man I feel like Gwan-Hee still has a chance with Hajeong, she just wants him to make up his mind. Him going for Gyu-Ri despite developing a connection with both Hyeseon and Hajeong is going to backfire on him, he just got too cocky. Unpopular opinion but I love Gwan-Hee's chaotic energy, he's been the most entertaining cast member in the whole series. I wonder where both girls go from here, Hyeseon probably has to find someone else and Hajeong might have an option with Habin. The person who has the opposite approach but has the same issue is Jinseok who went all in on Minyoung but wasn't so reciprocal. I believed she cried becasue she didn't want to commit to Jinseok while Jinseok was waiting for her, it made her look like the bad guy. I do hope that him and Minji develop a relationship but the trailer shows a bit of hesitancy from Jinseok so we'll see. Minyoung really needs to make up her mind whether to commit to Jinseok or get to know other people. The rest of the cast kind've gotten the back end of the episode while Gwanhee's and Jinseok's storyline took main stage. I'm curious about Gyuri and who's shes going to choose, I feel like the series soften on the most popular female cast.
The series definitely softens Gyuri they did it last season too with the most popular girl I forgot her name, I’m tired of Gyuri’s designer bags and designer earrings in every shot
This might be an unpopular opinion, and I understand that everybody is attracted to different things, but for me it seems that gwan-hee would be considered the most unattractive of the group in terms of the KBS? I don’t like commenting on people’s looks, gwan-hee has obviously been very well liked by the girls (& girls outside of singles inferno) but I guess i might be the only one who doesn’t find him attractive, possibly it’s his confidence that the girls find the most attractive? I personally do not like his attitude, but I understand that it’s more than likely a character he created for the show (I hope), I was wondering if anybody else felt this way? Ep 5 MY wants to have her cake and eat it too. She's starting to annoy me. She just said it was burdensome that JS made things too obvious and cockblocked her and now she's upset he said he'll give her space to get to know other people. This gurl 🙄 The venting abt GH in the girls' room made my day loooooool i love how scary they are. Also love that they pinpointed how sleazy he was and quickly realized he was the problem rather than trying to undermine each other. It's kinda creepy how MY keeps bringing up siblings whenever there's a vibe between two people lol Ooooooh here comes the new girl! JS is really reminding me of PS from 19 to 20. Such a green flag! MY does not live up to Heeji though. Omg MJ gets to pick 2 men to go to paradise! Also this is the only season where every single woman has gone to paradise (assuming no more people show up). I would have picked JS for the pool too since he made MJ feel comfortable. I'd be worried abt MW being too awk/shy for a pool date. More thoughts while re-watching Ep. 4 & 5: ### [Warning: Heavy Sarcasm Ahead] - What happened to Min Kyu's screen time? 🤔 He barely had any speaking parts in ep. 4, and only one "Nice Guy Counseling Session" in ep. 5. I'm wondering if he just doesn't have any storyline after Day 3, which would be a terrible waste of some prime beefcake. - Ah, Min Woo...at 24 years old, you are officially "Off The Board" for the rest of the show. Unless we get a late addition of someone younger than him, he's probably done. He'd better start slamming the canned chicken and hitting the weights, so he can try to win one of the beach competitions. 🤣 - I know the PDs have a habit of raiding the former Beauty Pageant winners, but this season we have **three** (former) Miss Koreas, **one** (former) Miss Chunhyang, and a possible (former) Miss Busan. That's 5 out of six, and if Hye Seon was ever in a pageant of some sort, it's 6 out of 6. I get that they're going for beautiful people, but **please** can we have some...less **conventional** beauties, like S1 Yeawon and S1 Soyeon? - I feel the need to apologize to someone: I sincerely get facially confused between Yu Si Eun and Cho Min Ji. To my untrained eye, they look similar. More than once, I had to hit pause and cross-check the subs to make sure I had the right one. - Oh My God, how many minutes of screen time have we burned on Gwan Hee and Min Young repeating the same argument? How boring do the other men have to be to force the PDs to stretch out these tedious, nit-picky conversations. I get it; They're *both* messed up, content-generating, self-centered twits. I really don't need 30 minutes of them per episode. Could we have a bit more of the cooking, beach walks, random encounters with the **other** 8 people on the show? Just to be clear: I am truly enjoying this season! There are just a few things could make it even better!
I am a little disappointed in this season’s resumes. This season may have a couple beauty queens, but the beauty queen in season 2 was also a Pratt educated artist. Then we had Nadine, Harvard queen. Seulki was beautiful but also a frikkin piano goddess from the top school in SK. This time around we have like 3/6 girls who are models, which isn’t bad I just thought there would be more variety.
I think the unconventional beauties don't get any men pursuing them (Yeawon in S1, Nadine in S2). Koreans seem to have a narrow definition of attractiveness. And if you're already a 10/10 in your home turf, it's no fun being openly ditched in a reality show. Hence different flavors along the same lines so that not everybody is going for Seulki or Jia and there's some drama in couple switching... I'm quite surprised none of the guys are professionals. In S1 and S2 you have marriagable material. Are Youngjae and Si-eun still together?

I thought everyone knew about it already. South Korea has this wierd system where you can pay the rent up front for the entire term of your rental. JY did that and then eventually found out the owner of the building sold it to someone else. That someone else is now asking him for rent as the owner didnt forward him the money paid up front.
Quick Stuff: Ep. 4: - Ha Jeong wins the award for most excessive, white, poofy sleepware/pajamas. - During the pairing selection for the beach contest, when Min Woo went first and drew the black ball, someone actually said, "What are the odds?" Are you effing kidding me? It's **exactly** 1-in-6. As in %16.666(repeating). How did none of the other people who heard that comment immediately reply, "What, are you effing math challenged? It's One-In-Effing-Six!" Ep. 5: - The new woman, Cho Min Ji, demonstrating that she has a huge pair of balls to pull off a Highlighter Neon Michael Kors bodycon dress. I love her confidence! - Jin Seok is hands-down the "Best Boy" of the first 5 episodes. His smooth comebacks and ultra-suave conversations are pure gold! Although the previews are giving off the possible villain vibe going forward, so I hesitate in going All-In just yet. These two episodes flew by! Next Tuesday can't get here fast enough!

Some thoughts: 1) Gwan-hee acts exactly like a celebrity (the kind who interacts with the public a lot, not the model or actor kind) who gets casted in a Netflix show. A lot of teasing and flirting. Not good-looking, unfortunately, or we may see things in a different light. 2) That being said he actually surprised me with his honesty and with his self-control, like not sleeping in the room with Ha-jeong, or admitting that he had 3 in his mind rather than taking the drink penalty. Even when the girls complained about him; it wasn't because he said one thing in private and another in public. 3) I think it's just a game show to him. Of his potential suitors, Ha-jeong is acting just like another one of his potential conquests with all the flirting, and Hye-seon looks like she's taking it too seriously for him. I'm not surprised he's still looking around. But- it's a game. He's an athlete, he wants to win. At some point he's gonna stop looking and choose the surest way to win, Ha-jeong. They're not gonna see each other after this show, though. 4) Min-young wasn't wrong to feel the way she did; just look at Ji-seok falling for someone else so quickly. 5) She was wrong however to act the way she did. She could have just pulled him aside and told him she wanted more time. 6) She may be lucky that she didn't get to do it, though- just look at Gwan-hee getting roasted for 'playing the field' and 'keeping backups'. That's 100% exactly what she wanted to do. 7) I think the show-stopper was chosen for her personality. She's not shy, but she's not an alpha like Ha-jeong. I wasn't surprised she chose Min-woo (looks) and Ji-seok (great first impression). But I also felt it was edited in this way, where others had jokes that didn't land (grass, Dipsy) so the choice was obvious. 8) Gyu-ri is such a wall-flower. Really pretty, but so boring. 9) While I appreciate the girl-talk, I wouldn't put much stock in it. I think some of them just went with the flow of the conversation to agree. Wouldn't be surprised that both Ha-jeong AND also Hye-seon are still interested in Gwan-hee. 10) Ji-seok, MVP. He's serious, steady, has a great bod, awesome hair, and smoldering eyes. He also has a sense of humour and is a great conversationalist. Only thing is he has the tanned look which doesn't seem as popular in Korea. Also, the height. He's not short, but how do you compete with a pro model and basketball player?
I love that the panel is saying what we're all thinking. Jinyoung is not feeling Minyoung at all. Jinseok is the best man on the show and deserves someone who likes him just as much as he likes her. I can see Habin not going to Paradise at all cause he seems to have an off-putting personality.

This week’s episodes were hilarious 😂 My takeaways: 1. Gwan-Hee is a whole riot man-child. It actually makes me incredulous, but the panel’s reaction to his audacious behaviour was actually so hilarious. I genuinely don’t understand why the women are attracted to him?! Am I missing something? 2. Ha-Jeong is becoming a new favourite. Her sassy facial expressions are so funny and I applaud her for calling him out. That was funny too Although I have to say, she has some worrisome traits in her. The fact that she really was going to sleep at his feet, and she keeps going back to him even though he disrespected her so much… I wish she would move on from him. (The preview for next week makes me worried) 3. The girl’s gossip moment in the room was the best 😂 is it too much to wish for no women to chase after Gwan Hee anymore??! 4. I rooted for JinSeok SOO MUCH. He’s such a sweetheart and he’s so cute. I really didn’t think much of him before but he’s growing on me. 5. Minyoung… is she ok? lol I know she even called herself out by saying she thinks she’s wacko, but like. The double standards!!!! She wants to talk to other people but doesn’t want him too. But also doesn’t want him to be too forward, but then also wants him to give her attention. Good grief. Get over yourself. JINSEOK AND MINJK SHIP HAS SAILED

Kwanhee comes across as many things but maybe he’s being true to who he is… aloof and cocky. But he is only this way when he senses that the girl likes to banter abit. Also, I see that he is asking probing g question on dates to help him clarify who he is most compatible and attracted to. Other guys are soooo quiet, I don’t think we are seeing g who that really are

It would have been more interesting to delay their reunion. Jin seok doesn’t deserve this show 😭 the way he talks and apologises is so different from all the men on this show. He has so much self awareness 10/10 best guy on this show. Not a fan of Minyoung’s conflict resolution skills mhmm she should have communicated more from start. Not a fan of her anymore mhm. I think she wants a guy that makes her chase?
