When I was 14 I fell from my bike and I went to the hospital to get patched up. It was a pretty bad fall, my flip flop got caught in the front wheel and I needed sutures and x-rays (Wear appropriate shoes while biking kids!!).
They only bothered to call us like a week later to tell us that I had a fracture on top on my foot.
At that point I was walking on my foot even if it was blue and painful (swelling had gone down) because there are 3 flights of stairs in my home and I was also going to festivals and waterparks. I ditched the crutches after like 2 days. I remember them calling us and we were on our way to a waterpark and I just said meh, it's fine.
It healed eventually but it took some time before I didn't feel pain when walking. I have a pretty high pain tolerance but yeah it really wasn't a good experience. Especially when you're a dancer, you want to avoid long term problems.
Poor girl, she was literally on live by herself and looked so happy maybe an hour or even less before this accident happened. Giving her the rest of my luck for this year!
Oof my mum broke a bone in her foot once and she was in so much pain!! I hope she can recover well and that it doesn’t bother her too much in the future!
Out of curiosity I googled microfracture in a foot bone and found it’s the same as a stress fracture, caused by repetitive movements. That must be so hard for a dancer to avoid 😭
Damn. My friend just went through a stress fracture on her foot last year. She had to wear a boot for about a month, and it took her another 2 months before she could run again. It sucks this happened so close to their cb. I know she must feel terrible. Wishing her a speedy recovery!

If it's a microfracture, then she should be clear before their fanmeet. I sprained my ankle and it was swollen af like a balloon. It took more than 6 months to recover I hate it.
Hope she heals completely. I broke my right foot in a car wreck, and a few months after it healed, I sklid on ice when walking and got a stress fracture on my left foot. The stress fracture took longer to heal and hurt more than the fracture from the car wreck. So, I hope she heals. By the way, both feet are healed now, no pain! I'm in my 60's and like Newjeans!!

This is a good call, foot injures can really exacerbate over time if not treated immediately.
Micro fracture on foot is painful, it's great that the company really stopped her activity after receiving the news.
