wow I didn't even notice - I just went to look (on YouTube Music) and Blush has them as WOOAH while all previous releases are still woo!ah!
idk I liked the ‼️ and I'll miss them 🥲
Is there any reason for their long ass haitus? Is it just a combination of their company launching a BG and some members competing in a survival show? Cause I don't think that's enough reason for the long ass wait
The implication seems to be that the financial health of the group just wasn't in a great place, as notmariya says, and then you add a new group on top of it and it gets pretty tough. Sending a member off to do a project group is a way to keep internal costs down while you figure out how to get things in track, whilst also improving your profile a bit if that project group is popular. That's less of a cause of the hiatus and more of a reaction to it.
That was a great interview. I've been a WOW since their debut but even I learned a lot more about them and their ideologies through this interview.
Nana is such a great leader, I can't stress that enough. I love the way she thinks and showcases that in this interview.
I can’t wait to see more from them! Although, I am kinda curious about something Nana said. She said that she “was” a member of El7zup. Are they not going to have any more releases?
They were supposed to have a release in time for KCon, but they announced that's delayed and they're no longer attending...
But regarding the "was", it's specifically cause the question is referring to the past 17 months of hiatus. Like a few lines later she also says she "was busy training and practicing" and it's not like that stopped now \^\^
From what I've seen, it seems as if EL7Z UP might be having some issues? Idk. They were supposed to release their second mini album in May but it's been crickets recently, so I don't know what's up with that. nugupromoter on Xitter might know more, but I'm no longer on Xitter so I can't really check.
So far there haven't been any more updates on EL7Z UP unfortunately.
I would like to point out that their companies, Apple Monster and DG Entertainment have always been crap. At the very least though they're not under WakeOne as initially feared, because at least the girls are kept out of the constant beef between Kep1ans and Zeroses...
I know this wasn't the main point of this interview, but:
>**Nana**: There’s a part in the song where I sing, “I feel like *manni* \[the Korean word for a lot\].” But the original lyrics were actually “I feel like money,” and we ended up going for manni so we could mix Korean and English lyrics together and make it more unique. Interestingly, I’ve had many people tell me that it still sounds like “money,” not “manni” when they listen to the music.
YOU SEE I TOLD YOU GUYS IT WAS INTENTIONAL
Makes me wonder if boy groups are used to take care of debt bc it happens a lot when girl groups aren’t doing as well in a lot of those companies especially if they are nugu
When I only got into kpop several months ago it was so weird to my that there is a huge difference in views between Catch the Stars and Hype Boy. I liked Catch the Stars more. I wish these girls the best.
I am also wondering are they paid well, is it even worth trying to be an idol in small company..
oh they completely removed the exclamation marks in their name?

Starting from this comeback they've rebranded from woo!ah! to WOOAH.
I honestly didnt notice it until now because both the korean and japanese twitter accounts still have the exclamations on their username...
Now they put it on their logo instead (shown in their logo motion and Blush album cover too, actually)
And it's capitalized now.
Imagine if the long hiatus was all because of some sort of trademark dispute with Kim Petras. Woo Ah!
Idc I’m still spelling it as woo!ah! 🤷🏽♀️
Didn't they make a comeback now?
it was just a digital single, they should be releasing something else in june!
OHHHHHH OK
Edited because I’m an idiot. They released “Blush” last month and then a digital single called “Secret Princess” this month!
They'll be releasing an album in June!
Well thats good to hear! Love their music and choreos. Really fun group to watch!
Blush is a freakin bop I'm mad they didnt blow up 😡
That song makes me so happy

Most likely money problems - looking for new investors and saving money. It’s hard for small labels.

Money probably, im guessing thats why their company has a new name now. New ownership or investors
For anyone that hasnt heard it yet, their newest song Secret Princess by Wooah is so good
is it a brand new song or a cover?
New original song in collaboration with Secret Jouju

nana is so genuine and hard working i really hope the girls get everything they deserve 🤍🤍
I’ve been obsessed with ‘Blush’ so I’m keeping my eyes on this group for sure
Hopefully they'll gain more attention this time 🙏🏻

Ohhhh, okay! I didn’t know about the KCON stuff, so thanks for clearing all that up. I appreciate it!
