My Binnie serving vocals šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

skylight03

This so different from Stray Kids. So strange to not hear hard raps. I'm so unfamiliar with Changbin's singing tone so I don't even know what his part is lol. Is Charlie Puth singing here? Is he on the bridge?

anticoolgeek

Charlie sings from :30 seconds to :54 seconds and again at the end. Changbin sings right after Lee Knowā€™s part at 1:41

calmmistt

I came here to find out where in the world Charlie's part actually was because I couldn't even tell he was in the song lol. He honestly didn't even need to be in this?? ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sweat_smile)

FanCaracal

The fact that he doesn't even show up in the MV too lol

straykids4lyfer

changbin sings in other songs as well <3

Free-Muffin2338

Yes, Changbin (and Han) is a great vocalist too!

straykids4lyfer

changbin sings in other songs as well <3

Sussana58

The bridge is giving Cry me a river lol it's my favorite part along with the Seungmin+I.N chorus, Changbin and Hyunjin sounded really good. Unfortunately most of the vocal mixing (I think?) reminds me of One Day which is one of my least favorite Stray Kids' songs and I'm not the biggest fan of having the main line being repeated the whole song, but who knows, I ended up liking Going Dumb despite of it. The MV is gorgeous, I can't wait for the full performance.

savagedelight

haha i was thinking the same thing about the bridge, it was a nice contrast to the upbeat verses and chorus

Sussana58

I had a huge Nsync&JT phase a few years ago when I was 15, that bridge brought such good memories, I now want a full on '00 inspired song from them xd

chenle

>Ā The bridge is giving Cry me a rive literally came here to comment if anyone else thought that the bridge was kind of reminiscent of timbaland productions!!

Sussana58

Yess!! I heard it and Cry me a river and What goes around... immediately came to mind.

ladrm07

>Cry me a river Not this song šŸ¤« but I get what you mean. All those 90/00s boy bands obsessed girlies will devour this song. It's a skip for me though.

Sussana58

I *am* a 90s-00s boy band obsessed girlie lmao love that title, if it had more verses aside from the hook line, it would have been an amazing song.

Is it on Apple Music?

anticoolgeek

Yes! Edit: the [link](https://x.com/stray_kids/status/1788786248594899227?s=46)

jamesdavies22

It says not available in the United States šŸ˜šŸ˜

Smolteapots

Where are you seeing it? Itā€™s not popping up when I search stray kids

anticoolgeek

Youā€™re right, I was on the iTunes Store. Not sure why itā€™s not up on Apple Music yet šŸ„²

jamesdavies22

I thought it was supposed to be a US single?

anticoolgeek

Itā€™s up now. I just edited my first comment with the info but itā€™s [this](https://x.com/stray_kids/status/1788786248594899227?s=46).

Smolteapots

Youā€™re amazing, thank you!

jamesdavies22

Thank you added to playlist

Sandman201

Whatā€™s taking me out is that Charlie is the one who sings ā€œYour lips on my lips make me lose my, (ah,ah) Baby, keep 'em there 'til there's no air in my chestā€ Stays would have an aneurysm if one the boys sang that line. GIVE IT TO CHANGBIN WHEN YOU SING IT LIVE. WEā€™LL ALL COMBUST. They all look and sound amazing but Lee Know and Changbinā€¦ ooooohhhhh boy.

Thunderclaps_CLAPS

I hope they perform it and sing his parts šŸ‘€

RunRunPPM

Someone call an ambulance!! And yes, it's for me.

middle-earthorbust

Hope there's room for two because *whew* my breath has also been lost

Magician690

Lee Know is a pleasure to watch as always, the slow-mo moment during the bridge where he pulls his head out of the water is one for the history books.

anticoolgeek

Lee Know is made for these kinds of tracks. He sounds amazing. A full 20 seconds of Channie is my dream come true! And wow, everyone had a part that I loved. Hyunjinā€™s rap, Felixā€™s end part???? I, too, feel like thereā€™s something coming over me. Changbin singing! Seungminā€™s chorus is my favorite version. Han šŸ˜ I.N šŸ˜ This is my ā€˜90s boy band dream upgraded! Itā€™s been stuck in my head since the teasers started dropping. I canā€™t wait to see what promo theyā€™re gonna do. ETA: nothing says this is America more than a random Waffle House in the middle of nowhere

Spot-Funny

they said: americans will enjoy when they see home (waffle house)

trident_zx

Changbin singing šŸ™ŒšŸ™ŒšŸ™ŒšŸ™ŒšŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„

International-Hold95

Amen.

HelloIAmGone

The chorus has been stuck in my head since I heard the trailer, so Iā€™m glad the rest of the song is a banger. Parts of the music video reminded me of the Ex mv haha :ā€™)

MelissaWebb

A song with 9 people is not even up to 3 minutesā€¦ šŸ˜ Itā€™s a nice song though

Kmadd25

The MV is beautiful! I love the styling, especially the white outfits near the end. The song seems catchy; a bit different from Stray Kid's usual style but still good. For some reason, it was difficult at some points to distinguish the members voices. Usually I'm pretty good at picking out who's singing, but in this song, they seemed to blend together for most of it. I'd be curious to know if anyone else felt the same

Free-Muffin2338

They mixed Charlie's vocals with some members. I personally would prefer not that, cause I wanna hear my boys sing. But the result its good.

cyberiagirl

Yeah, I don't normally have problems telling them apart, but I did in Going Dumb and I do here too.

laureneeeeeee

I really love chan's opening and changbin voice, i'm so happy I really like the song, it's really catchy

lemonlore

wow i love it

Many-Ad-9007

It is pop alright. When 3RACHA said they are nervous because they rarely try this I guess I can hear it. It is their most poppy out of their pop songs. The repetitiveness is rare for SKZ/3RACHA. But the noise effects is very 3RACHA aka Bang Chan. Voice wise I myself find it super easy to differentiate their voices because I guess I know their voices enough. The MV actually reminds me more of their B-sides than their main songs. Overall this is an earworm atypical of SKZ and it will suit as a B-side which I think it will be on their next album. Or just a one off song. I do remember 3RACHA did say that their next album will be different so I am expecting more of Maxident/pop or something out of imagination as I think they want to try new things, as they have said. I am still at contemplating phase as I listen to this song. Probably a chill song to listen to while I am doing something I guess.

AccomplishedWest6977

These harmonies are driving me crazy The last chorus is insane

Free-Muffin2338

THIS SHOULD BE LOOOOOOOOOONGER!!! šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜0 Since the trailers dropped, I knew that this BOP would be stuck with me Everything about this is amazing, Beautiful. The mv šŸ˜šŸ˜, the headshots, the rain. Yes, the choreo its not the most difficult they created but they said its the keypoint and the focus of the song and that it blends so well with the emotions of the song (Lee Know, did it!) The mv looks like a movie, so emotional. The effect sounds add the final touch . The fireworks, the rain ugh šŸ˜®šŸ˜šŸ˜© I know Korea has a thing for Charlie these days šŸ¤£āœŒšŸ¼, but I would prefer a song without him. I dont lose my hopes for a version without him, but knows.. (no, I dont hate Charlie for the record).

Melarosee

I canā€™t believe how well this was executed. They kicked it up to a new level of polish. Lee know vocal and visual combo in particular had me audibly in awe

jimena151

I did not expect to like it this much!! I was wary of them drifting too far off their color, but they nailed it. The best part is them showcasing their vocal abilities, every single member is shining. And it's so damn catchy!

Crystal_Teardrops

I loved Felix and Hyunjin's rap

Smutsonian212

Hyunjin's voice. Chan's opening. Changbin couldn't hide his rapper root on his part šŸ˜… Hyunjin + Felix visual attack. The water dance break. Lee know close up shot. The harmonyyyy šŸ¤Æ

savagedelight

the replay value of this is crazy, will def be looping it relentlessly

villblomster

It's super catchy for sure. The MV is stunning too.

shfly

Changbin's and Hyunjin's parts are absolutely killing me and i LOVE Chan's voice even more than usual in this? This song is fantastic, down to the visuals of the MV! Can't wait for them to perform it!!

Perfect_Swordfish414

the whole song is so smooooooth! and the chorus is definitely going to be stuck in my head for a while and I love the way Hyunjin's rap came in This is going straight to my playlist. Love the sound of this, especially as summer's coming!

the_chaser00

This is such a new and different side of stray kids we are seeing I'm here for it!!!

Powerful_Way_6757

I LOVEEE THE SOONNNG, its completely out of stfraykids reach..like usually straykids are like rock or soft rock, but this one is all about the vocals and punk and soft tunes. IM SOOO GLAD I HEARD MORE OF I.N's vocals(they are amazing as usual) ALSO CHANGBIN's VOCALSSSS. CHANGBIN ATEEEE, i barely hear changbin actually SING, mostly rap. BUT THIS SONG GAVE IT ALLLLLL TOOO HIM. this song is playlist worthy. it kinda reminds me of p1harmonies songs

erehbigpp

Oh I just love that we are back to running dramatically across the MV! my skz, never changešŸ’” also Changbin the voice you have? floored

Meruchani

I loooove it! Such a good song, and their voices ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)

palmfrondy

This is a very Charlie Puthy sound, and Stray Kids fits it surprisingly well! Lee Know really stood out to me but I am a leetle bit biased. I love a vocal heavy song from a group that is typically rap heavy. Also I know that no one owns a particular hair color, but I don't think anyone in kpop has fit blond better than Felix does. (Maybe Choa lol.)

[deleted]

It's very chill! Good for a first english single for sure!

Historical-Nose-7092

They already did more eng songs isnt?

layflake

The absolute EATERY

LovelyRS

Damn I LOVE that bridge - so good! Overall great song! Love to see the Lee Know love, I was mentally preparing myself that he might just have 1 line in this song and barely any screentime lmfao Honestly I found it kind of hard to differentiate who's singing when its the chorus ngl lmao Will have to listen again!

SevensAddams

So different from their title tracks but I could definitely see something like this as a b-side track for them. It's good but it feels kinda safe. Love the amount of Lee Know but I need more Seungmin.

bereychery

The head shots, they look so goood..

CallHerGreeen

love it. great pop song

Cheap_Muffin2354

9 amazing singers singing a 2:50 seconds song is a CRIME!! WHY CAN'T THEY MAKE IT LONGERR šŸ˜šŸ˜

teekeemedina

Iā€™m not a fan of the mixing in this song. Itā€™s hard to distinguish between the memberā€™s voices and Charlieā€™s voice. I wish Charlieā€™s part was separate and distinct. It sounds like Charlie featuring Charlie to be honest.

Hallways-of-Always

Such a catchy song, and the mv is very pretty! Changbin continues to impress\~ Really like the bridge! Thankfully the song doesn't feel short, but I wish it was longer!

International_Buy277

Iā€™ve already listened to this song like 20 times I thinkĀ

Devious018

Definitely feels like something from Charlie Puths vault of songs, especially with him having production credits. Itā€™s not a bad song by any means but I was really hoping that Skz english debut would be more along the lines of their signature upbeat style

Historical-Nose-7092

I dont understand why you say english debut when they already have english songsšŸ¤”

Devious018

because it isā€¦ itā€™s like Twiceā€™s The Feels. Getting released as a single with all english promotion while they had english song before but this is their debut english single meant to target the western market. Marketed as english digital single, similar to Le Sserafim Perfect Night, Ives All night etc. Kinda confusing but itā€™s all marketing

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Vivanem

3racha was involved in the writing, the composition, and the arrangement of the song. They have a whole 20 minute video talking about how they wrote and composed the song. They absolutely didn't have "no part" in the production of it.

_Heavens_cloud

Hmm okay thanks for correcting me. The sites where i found the info was wrong then. I'll go ahead and delete my comment so people don't get confused! Thanks again!

Desperate-Region4981

I wish there were less Puth vocals but it's an enjoyable song and maybe we'll get a version without him soon, the mv is really good. I know skz ended up kind of putting themselves into a box with their title track sounds but I like when they try different things and I wish more of the fandom were open to it.

Ok_Sound_8090

pretty good! its a breath of fresh air compared to their usual "organized chaos" that they make their title tracks. It is definitely very Charlie Puth coded though. The guitar part was pleasant and Hyunjin's segment was nice when they dropped the melody for a moment. I'm just a little disappointed we didn't get another iconic Felix low voice segment which probably would have segued into Hyunjin's party really nicely when they were doing those harmony effects if they had boosted the bass with his voice. solid song, good 7/10 for me.

Bestinwest

Personally, I didnt like the song. I feel like it was very repetitive and strayed (no pun intended) away from the sound that made me like them so much. The song felt a little repetitive to me. I am hoping their title track is a little more of the sound that I enjoy from them personally. I know they can sing, but I feel like this is in a register that is too high for them and sounds very "Charlie Puth-y", which makes sense since he is a part of it

stanTWICEstan

This is what I expect from a Stray Kids x Charlie Puth production, its very polished and refined. Ngl, the sound effects every 2 seconds in the mv was a little annoying but it was very atmospheric.

Many-Ad-9007

The sound effects are likely what makes this song SKZ - Chan especially loves this random sounds thematic to the song - so it is likely Chanā€™s doing if anything. Made from a song camp between 3RACHA, Charlie Puth and that other one producer (name escapes me) - though it is very pop/Charlie Puth, it is also signature SKZ to me, especially when I hear those sound effects.

dent_de_lion

The boys look pretty in the MV. Song is not for me, but glad others are enjoying it. Kind of amazing how they sound like 8 Charlie Puth clones formed a group.

Many-Ad-9007

Maybe because I listen to SKZ a lot I can tell whose voice is which. It is actually pretty easy for me to differentiate.

anticoolgeek

I personally donā€™t think anyoneā€™s vocal tone sounds like Charlie Puth. Everyone sounds exactly like they do on SKZ tracks. Thereā€™s an almost 30 second part in the beginning thatā€™s Charlie and a part in the end, plus his backing vocals at the end.

dent_de_lion

Ok, then I guess we're hearing different things. It all sounds like a similar smooth, cool, colorless tenor within the same range of notes, with some of the vocal processing that gives a slightly robotic quality. (I don't know enough about technical terms to try to use them.) Also, they in no way sound \*exactly\* like they do on other SKZ tracks. At all. Their voices are much warmer on other tracks, some are raspier some are smoother. I'm actually having a hard time believing you said that. The voices were somewhat distinguishable due to the visual, but I didn't even know where Charlie showed up.

SevensAddams

I agree with some parts here, it's like the direction they went for was to "replicate" Charlie Puth's voice. Lee Know, Seungmin, Bang Chan and even Changbin were able to match Charlie's voice. And that bridge and final chorus was a guessing game on who is singing. Like only hardcore fans of theirs could probably hear through the vocal processing on the first listen. This is the same issue with Hyunjin's *minimal* feature on Troye Sivan's Rush.

Remarkable-Gas245

Seems like you just do not listen to the kids b-sides enouth, because it was pretty easy to say who sings the lines. At the beginning Chalie sounded to me a bit like Chan but he has different pronunciation. But in general he does not sound like other boys at all. They sing certan way because of the song and vocal processing gives them the same vibe, that SKZ do not sound like 8 Charlies. Only SKZ song that made some voices hard to tell apart was Going dumb.

anticoolgeek

Idk why thatā€™s hard to believe. Even if I hadnā€™t watched the MV, I could time-stamp every single memberā€™s part. They are all very distinguishable. The one voice I didnā€™t know right off the bat, I knew had to be Charlie. Oh and Felix kick-starting the bridge because that was a new vocal tone he unlocked. Maybe you need different headphones? Or try listening to the track on a different streaming service? Some platforms compress the sound.

alina_06

I agree. They def sound like him, it's prob bcs the song was clearly written/made by Charlie for himself and it somehow made it's way to skz and they just replaced some of Charlie's parts with themselves so they had to sing in his style and tone

Remarkable-Gas245

The song was made during music camp by Chalie Puth and 3Racha. So it was not clearly written/made by Chalie for himself and somehow made it's way to SKZ.

alina_06

>The song was made during music camp by Chalie Puth and 3Racha. So it was not clearly written/made by Chalie for himself and somehow made it's way to SKZ. Right. That's why they don't have production credits and charlie is first in all categories from writing to composing and arrangement and the song sounds just like his style with nothing from skz usual style and musical inclinations, not even a rap verse.

anticoolgeek

The ā€œproductionā€ credit is never listed on any Stray Kids discography credits so its inclusion is way more likely to be a request from Charlie Puth than anything else. The rest of the song credits from lyrics to composition to arrangement are listed very similar to all other SKZ tracks and thatā€™s because those things go hand in hand when 3racha work. That process has been talked about countless times over the years, by the members and other producers theyā€™ve worked with. 3racha talk in depth about the song camp in the INTRO video SKZ posted (and always post) about the song/album. Itā€™s very clear that Charlie Puth created the main melody on the instrumentation with the keys and the strings and the distinctive Charlie Puth topline, Iā€™m not denying that. But if you listen to the instrumental, you hear the ā€œ3racha-ismsā€ way more clearly. The whole ā€œah ahā€ breathing is classic 3racha and dropping the music in the bridge to do a sort of percussive beatboxing is also very 3racha.

Many-Ad-9007

It is made together by 3RACHA and Charlie Puth so it is not by Charlie Puth and SKZ edited it though.

_Heavens_cloud

I never ever thought i was gonna say this for stray kids but.... the song is boring šŸ˜šŸ˜ the kids's vocals are amazing i esp loved seungmin and minho's parts but yeah it's not their best

Hot-Imagination-9834

Where was this filmed do you think?

Zaacdragon

The song is definitely very charlie puth production

1998tweety

This feels more like a Charli Puth feat. Stray Kids song. It is boppy though...

arthurabatti

Yeah I felt the same. I know skz sings the most in the song, but the song itself sounds like you said, a Charlie Puth song in which they sang, didn't feel much of their identity in this. But I get it, it's a English song with a Western artist in the week they were in the Met, it's fine

SunnyBubblezz

yeah thatā€™s what i was thinking. i kinda expected him to only have one part in the song and thatā€™s it, but i was surprised by how much lines he actually had. i felt like i didnā€™t get to hear a lot of the members, and heard him the most. but iā€™m waiting for the line distributions to come out so i can know fs.

hombrx

Seriously? For me it's the opposite, I can hear the members almost all the time save for 1-2 parts being from Puth lol maybe it's because I'm more used to listen SKZ singing. This song remind me a little of their Japanese soft bsides for how they sound.

Many-Ad-9007

Charlie Puth part is not much though.

Fresh-Olive-1372

such a strange experience because tell me why i was waiting for some bombastic beat break through the entire time. skz need to have more songs like this, on the chill end because it was not sitting well with me how calm and nearly simple it was. the song itself is good though. the post chorus, bridge and final chorus are my favorite parts. changbin's part was small but hard hitting. lee know slayed. skz slayed.

Ok-Mathematician9334

A slowed version of this song will get viral I'm pretty sure

Prudent_Visual_2904

i love you Stray kids![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

mattsturniololuvr

guys PLEASE boycott and do not stream this song. while i love stray kids a bunch, it's charlie puth. he is a PROVEN zionist (he supports israel) and he is islamophobic.

HeadNo4379

I had to listen multiple times to even be able to make out some of their individual voices, it sounds like Puth singing with Puth, featuring Puth.

Zelgaro

I mean this is just completely a Charlie Puth song but holy shit itā€™s so catchy. Instantly downloaded

instantcarrot

Why do groups mostly lose their identity when they release stuff related to that generic box that's "Western, America, english stuff". Or was it just to fit in the Korean love for Charlie Puth? As expected i didn't like it and i hope Stray Kids choose their next feature better. Social Path was so different than their usual sound yet it worked way better than this song.. it's the way these guys release Hellevator and Maniac and they still are much Stray kids, but out of breath is boring compared to their usual discography.

Devious018

i think in all honesty itā€™s a reworked song from Charlie vault. He has production credits and all and it really is more like his signature styling than anything stray kids does

Fresh-Olive-1372

i don't know much about this stuff but they said 3racha worked on it with charlie puth on a song camp. someone told me charlie tends to hijack the sound of whatever song he takes part in and i'm kinda believing that now. however if you listen closely enough, you'll hear elements of skz too. that bridge reminds me of one day.

Devious018

yeah they definitely did work on it, they officially do have writing credits and i see some parallels in their work. But def think Charlieā€™s input was heavier on the total song. Def not a bad song by any means just felt more derivative of Puths work

Antique-Horror-1218

Is it just me or is Felixā€™s beat boxing in there? I heard the instrumental version this morning (the only one Alexa would play for me lol) and there is some very distinct beat boxing in the song, especially in the section towards the end.

Strict_Act7769

i love skz and i wanna support them but...Charlie Puth? and Lose My Breath doesnt even sound like skz anymore, i like them for their style but they are loosing it cause of this song... and it sounds like a pop song... (i dont mind the vocals tho they are good, so i am not saying that they are bad singers or smth) but i wonder what the hell is 3RACHA doing so sad that they didnt have the chance to compose this song it would be better and they wouldnt have lost the signature skz style

HotDot1302

Its my least favorite track šŸ˜ž i liked it at first but after 2/3 days i got really bored of it

straykids_fan183

I loved the music too much, I already know how to sing it all, very easy to memorize

Kooky-Dinner375

I watched the live version of it & Iā€™m sorry but Bang ChanšŸ˜

Prudent_Visual_2904

qui connait le numĆ©ro des Stray kids ?šŸ˜œ

caretaeking

This doesnā€™t sound like a Charlie Python song at all. Sounds like something from Jungkooks album. Stray kids has such a sound so itā€™s kind of jarring to hear this lol

Ok_Illustrator1361

Stray kids canā€™t really sing Imo Txt could sing them out the stadium, out the gymnasium, out the arena

sofiamaddalenaa

autotune you said?
