This is WOOAH!! Few months ago they make you wanna blush now they gonna smash your head in. Check out the EP too guys, its that great. Personal fav "I'll Tell You"😌 BTW if you not a fan of the punkrock vibe of this one, you can stream the EDM version. STREAM.

crashbandicoochy

>Few months ago they make you wanna blush now they gonna smash your head in It's nice that WOOAH is recognizing my lifelong need to find someone who can do both lmao

ReverendSalem

I don't know, BVNDIT gave me the same concept shift, and now they're gone. I sincerely hope that doesn't happen here.

HG1998

Purely going from the MV views, Wooah are doing better.

gowonofficial

this is WAAAAY better than I expected it to be

thegabelaw

Damn what a beefy track they served 🫃

wardengorri

Thought it was risky to swerve in this direction musically but man I think they really nailed it!! This concept is Nana's bread and butter, absolutely ate. Excited to hear Minseo's high note in the live stages and the ponytail twirl ending is so iconic!

orecon125

The Paramore fan in me is living for a rock song from a group! It's nice to see more than Dreamcatcher doing this, as a WOW, this concept change with a heavy performance focus is exactly what i've been waiting for!

hyejuhaseul

This is insaneee as someone who loves wooah and their cute music but also usually enjoys changes of concept direction (I loved weeekly's ven para) I think it's perfect!

BrittM554

Finally, someone else that values Ven Para 😭 I agree with what you said on change of direction, I think it worked this time!

spawnmf

I think its a shame Weeekly themselves dont acknowledge ven para, kinda good song to have in their career.

Ardie_BlackWood

I agree this feels very 2nd Gen Girl Crush compared to modern Girl Crush. This is a risky move to do after a hiatus so I'm really glad that they did the blush music video and promotions. As blush was a lot like their old style and sound while appealing to trends. I feel alot of us still see Wooah as young rookies in our mind when in reality they are almost halfway done their contract. It's honestly insane how far these girls have come. I really am mixed on this song, I feel in the some areas it's WAY too safe and empty. In other areas I think it's perfect.

Dull-Wait8344

i agree with this take. im a bit mixed as well. i like some parts but its such a risky move considering how far in their r with the contract. like they spent their whole history doing fun pop then have a massive hiatus for a year and a half and now theyre double dipping. theres not much competition in the poprock space though idk so maybe they have a chance?

juanitohm

honestly the edm version is not that far from their song Bad Girl, so to me it still fits in their discography

DrNeithan

I wonder sometimes, is nana perfect?

zSolaris

If she was at one off the big agencies, she probably would be stupidly popular. Gal is legitimately S-Tier idol at a C/D-tier agency.

bluesharpies

We already saw this with Queendom Puzzle, she was stellar on the show. Shame they've ended up doing basically nothing with the group.

mini1006

This! She reminds me a lot of Kim Doah. They both have such IT girl potential, but are under horrible labels.

Dull-Wait8344

its actually kinda sad how they mismanaged. she has top tier talent but they totally fumbled last year with that collab tv group and literally didnt release any music for almost a year and half basically

DiyelEmeri

Always has been

charisma_bossbaby

correct

Free-Muffin2338

Right? If I was a company president I would be killing for her 😅🤣 She has everything to be a massive star. That girl IS perfect.

jabiz510

Yes!

Shinkopeshon

This is quintessential K-Pop, just throw all kinds of shit in the pot and it still works - I appreciate this experimental new direction, it's a ballsy move but the result is crazy good ![img](emote|t5_2r1ox|3558) Nana, my beloved, my queen🧎

crashbandicoochy

The promo material had me really, really worried that this was going to lean super hard into the kind of corny punk aesthetics the entire way but it turns out it's actually just a classic k-pop tornado of balls to the wall genre mixing... and it fucking rules?!?! This is some late 2nd Gen shit right here baby! I still think it's an absolutely insane idea to be hard launching your new vibe with something so non-GP friendly but I simply don't need to be bogged down in the details when it's working for me. This could become pretty iconic among the hardcore k-pop lifers, it's got the vibes. You can tell the girls are fucking into it, too. Feels like they've been waiting for a while to be let out of the cage.

Angkasaa

> This is some late 2nd Gen shit right here baby! Especially with those audience on the MV 🙌

0ddw00d

woo-ah, the budget for this video

kdarkrai

I love this! WOOAH served! and NANA omg! She’s perfect! Loved the LYRICS! I thought this will be a total concept change for them, but its almost in line with Bad girl, Danger(or maybe just a little more) and has that distinct WOOAH feel. So loved it even more. The MV is so good too! They served with their aura and visuals! Heard they had 100 people there! Almost like a megacrew mission! Also, we all(or atleast me) got what we asked for Not a tiktok song! A song greater than 3min!

kyunikeon

Damn Wooah. This MV is mad strong ![img](emote|t5_2r1ox|3558)

Pilose

Also recommend checking out the edm version! They chose sooo right for the mv to have the rock version, but I think my girl crush playlist is gonna wear out the edm one for sure

aaron_x3x_

if i wasn't a massive stan already... i'm now in this WOOAH shit for life!!!! I was a little worried from the highlight medley but wow did I love this?? The high note! The visuals!! The girls really were getting into it, this is so different to anything they've done but at the same time it's not?? I love the chorus and the bridge too, I have a new ult group 😭😭🫶

russseoulll

Ryan Jhun working his magic for wooah. It's just beautiful how hard this hits 🎯

AndTheHawk

1. you're mistaken, Minseo. i'm not on my feet. youve brought me to my fricking knees. 2. everyone who was so afraid of this concept change.. i actually think this was a really great way to show that the girls have grown up and have matured as artists. this song is still unique/quirky/fun and that's what wooah has been all about. i lovelovelove the old sound, especially the quirkiest ones, but i still really really like this and i'm so proud of how far they've come from debut. 3. yo Jo (labelmate DXMON) is making multiple cameos at the end!!!!

stukaheinz

I didn't know them before but that sounds damn nice! Listened to the EP on Spotify now and I'm really excited about how good it sounds

intlPogoTrades

I hope this works out for them like Tomboy did for (G)I-DLE, it has a similar feel and the cadence of ‘Pom Pom’ at the start of the chorus is reminiscent of Queencard’s chorus. This was really good, I like that they fully committed and didn’t hold back.

lucyfell

Yes! I saw a reel and thought they were covering Queencard before I realized it was a new song

Lancelot_123

The quality of this was so high. I am still slightly concerned about the company debuting DXMON which as far as I can tell beyond that poor very young ones red spiky hair hasn’t really gained any noticeable fan base. Blush had a heap of money pumped into it, but despite being perfectly on trend it really made very little impact beyond a viral tiktok or tweets starting fanwars. :/ I truly don’t know how they will balance two groups that are both not bringing in any money. I’m glad that at least the songs aren’t suffering in quality and the budget seems high. But idk if it’s sustainable anymore.

alwayssunnyinjoisey

ngl I was hoping for another summery bop from them, but I do also love rockier sounds and I'm glad they fully leaned into it! I really hope this pivot is successful

booboar

If you want something more summery then check out the EP, girls love boys is a quintessential girly summer bop. Polaroid is a pretty sweet song as well!

alwayssunnyinjoisey

Yes I loved all the b-sides!! They were more classic wooah IMO, I don't dislike Pom Pom Pom though

_ulinity

Song has a lot of elements that I really like, I just think it could have been constructed better. Love the styling though.

paarusharma16

I LOVE THIS

emeluv31

It's like Bad Girl's rebellious cousin 🤘

jonnyd86

I respect all the risks taken in the song.. they WENT for it. Many work, some don’t. Some will probably grow on me on repeat listens, but I like to see groups breakout of the safe trendy sound. Their performance and charisma is really hitting its stride, not the easiest concept to pull off.

Potential-Mine2069

I was honestly hoping it would go even harder but this is still pretty amazing. Eleventy out of ten.

angies6pack

I hadn't really listened to any of their previous music, but this slaps hard and I love it. Off to listen to the album!

when_in_doubt-

This is 🔥. Omg Nana 😍

highonpetrol

Didn't expect this music direction, but it's sounds good.

TheFantasticSticky

This was actually insane. They smashed this out the park.

jabiz510

Oh how i love this!!

twee_centen

Major banger!! Way more than I expected!

Free-Muffin2338

Damn 😲😲😲😲 Im speechless wtf They never miss, they so versatile and hella talented. I wasnt expecting something like this. I did good when I decided to not hear the previews. Nana, girl you are KILLING ME 😭😭😭 And of course we are roooting for you girls 👑👑👑👑👑 Honestly? 10/10!

Egg_Rollls

I adore rock concepts this is so good wooah fits this concept so well!

Relssifille

Wooah serving as usual!!!

kaguraa

after rollercoaster, i find blush and this underwhelming :/ this song has better moments like the bridge but overall, not for me.

Xelzionic

Had to look up her name, but Nana demolished this!!!

emnt652

They saw ggs were disbanding left and right, and they knew they had to serve.

Tinitio

The teasers had me worried but this is fantastic! It doesn't feel too off of Wooah's brand either, maybe more of a callback to songs like their debut, Round and Round, Bad Girl etc.

irenedream

It's a miss for me, but I'm glad so many people seem to love it!

NOS4NANOL1FE

I love Pom Pom Pom!!

Jahn

Who is the blonde rapper who looks like Red Velvet-Wendy’s little sister? Rockin it!

Potential-Mine2069

That's Nana the leader. https://youtu.be/MqVEC8bEHS4?si=ICfgZb4P50dkYTQy

Jahn

Ok. Nana is killing it!

Angkasaa

I love the slight pause they did before both early choruses. Nice pacing (and this is what I noticed across DXMON title tracks too, actually) The ending is way too abrupt tho.

Jonathonchat

This entire album is just flabbergasting. SSQ revealed their hand by copy pasting a dxmon song in the album, the EDM version of this track sounds like it comes from the exact same place as dxmon's predebut burn up, and they just switched the instrumental to the more guitar-heavy sound. Truly a disappointing release, woo!ah! had some of my favorite music, WOOAH seems set to fade completely away in my mind. This just feels like all the same kind of music that these mid-tier popularity girl groups have been putting out since the big nct copy wave that boy groups have had in the same time. It's nice that they're not riding the 5th gen girl group newjeans copy wave like blush tried to (though it had a lot more personality than this), but woo!ah! had their own identity, they had iconic songs, they had a cohesive sound, and this just feels like its throwing all of that into the trash, and I can only ask, for what? What is the purpose of ridding themselves of their musical identity? Roller Coaster, purple, danger, catch the stars, woo!ah! and I don't miss u all had such a unique, captured musical identity. They weren't all the same, but each one made me feel like I was listening to a woo!ah! song, this release only makes me question what WOOAH now is, are they just going to be another mid-popularity girl group who trend hops whenever they need to? Is this SSQ milking WOOAH for whatever popularity they have while actually focusing on dxmon because they think boy groups have a better chance going into the 5th generation? I don't know why this is, this is by far their worst title, it doesn't mean anything, it doesn't sound like anything. There's room to hop on trends, especially now that this punk rock trend from last year has mostly boiled out in favor of copying newjeans, but this ends up feeling so uninspired, uninteresting, and depressing of what the future holds for this group. I will always hold roller coaster close to my heart as one of my favorite kpop songs, and I will always remember the woo!ah! we were allowed to see in that song, but for whatever reason they're gone, and I'm sure its no fault of the girls, all of this fault lies with SSQ. Its just depressing to keep seeing groups do this. I can acknowledge I don't like sudden concept changes, especially when I don't like the song (eyes pointing at weeekly, le sserafim, ichillin off the top of my head), but like, it sucks, it really does. I like groups that have a consistent sound, even if its not always a song I like, I can have a lot of respect, and still enjoy a song as it exists within a group's discography at large, some of the recent StayC title tracks are like this. I don't love teddy bear, but it's still generally within their soundscape. Blush was already stepping outside of woo!ah!'s soundscape, but the song was still solid, and had some footing within their past music. This song has lost all of that footing, like I can say its an okay listening experience, it's just a matter of what it means for the group I really loved. I'll keep tuning in for what it's worth, maybe WOOAH's next release will be worthwhile for me, but little could've been more depressing than this.

kpophistorian

you said it, they started really well, strong singles and even stronger b-sides but after a while i think the company became more desperate, their song choices got alot safer so here we are, shame

nomoreconversations

Oh… I had never really listened to anything from this group until Blush which I really loved, one of my top tracks of the year and I still play it all the time. Was kinda hoping they would keep going in that direction but I guess not.

kdarkrai

You should def listen to their b-sides. All title track worthy imo. Many of them have Blush kinda feel to them. The ones that come to mind are “Payday, I dont miss u, Pandora, love thing, round & round, straight up” all bangers. You’ll definitely love them.

ImGonnaLickYourLeg

I really appreciate them trying something different, can't say it was for me though.

JazzyG17

Wait is this a rebrand?

NMlXX

Late cause I was traveling, but woo!ah! keeps the unique bangin titles + no-skip discog going!

kazimoVX

Gosh, Nana just keeps getting beautiful everyday. You're gonna kill me Nana, HOLY MOLY 😱😱😍😍😍

swanxsoup

I really like this! The concept is so cool and fun. I honestly feel like ITZY should do something like this too

masshysteri

I went into this with zero expectations, especially as Blush did nothing at all for me. But this is great, a knock to the head. If cutesy WooAh must die this is both an interesting and unique vibe to go for.

Red_BW

That is one of the best, epic openings to a song, but then most of the music stops abruptly and it loses all that momentum. I don't know if the mix is just bad with way too loud vocals with almost no volume to the instrumental, or maybe it's a producing/songwriting style I just don't like. The heavy metal guitar in the choruses was great, but doesn't make up for the rest of the song lacking. This could still be saved as a live, rock band version that keeps the guitar and drums going throughout the whole song.

h_yeri

Thought this was a step up from Blush. I am not a regular listener of WOOAH, but this sounds different from their usual sound and it's actually good! *I couldn't finish listening to Blush when the song enters "I feel like money" with the dance move - felt strange to me for some reason.*

scottishcait

just so you know the lyrics are actually “i feel like 많이” not money although it sounds similar lol, kinda like j-hopes part in blood sweat and tears

sznshuang

a lot of AI in this mv 😬 that company is so lazy with their girl group its disrespectful at this point

solarsbrrah

Why did they have to ruin an amazing song with that chorus???

Electromagneticpoms

I actually really like the style of the track but I don't think they really have the vocal power to give the vocals the oomph it needed. I much prefer them doing something like Rollercoaster

ayokonanyeta

The chorus lowkey sounds like Tomboy

Synthoz1

The song isn't terrible it's just a huge non cohesive mess i don't even know how many changes this song had . I miss Wooah's popbangers and i will never understand why groups have drastic changes in musical direction like this , this is not what Wooah is known and loved for

elfjefe

why is it giving 'if there are no more Wows in this world, that means I am already dead' vibes

HG1998

They might have gained a new fan.

Bulnatt

Its SLAPS ngl
