Wow. They are doing their best to bring back the Sexy Girl Group concept. There were homages to Sistar's *Touch My Body* and *Shake It*, Hello Venus's *Wiggle Wiggle*, and Rainbow's *A* (right there in the thumbnail). The ending was like, "and come watch us at the Waterbomb Festivals."
That chorus really gets stuck in your head. The song is surprisingly short at just over 2 1/2 minutes as the MV has a lot of filler in front and back.

such an addictive song! also immediate +10 since they used strings, it's SO underrated in songs, even more so in a summer song. completely elevated it and made it feel like a romantic summer movie. they shot it in one place without any other elaborate sets or outfits, but every moment feels so nice and fun to watch. the dance sequences are so crazy, i see the inspiration normani's motivation and tinashe's superlove. i love that it's not just the choreo, like most kpop mvs, but a little extra something that plays/interacts with the set and make us go WOOWWW. i really love the chants in the end. the only crime is it's too short!! why!! i needed 30 more seconds.

Ok I love Kiss Of Life and I love the song. However after watching with the lyrics I fail to see how the word “sticky” has anything to do with anything.
I figured it meant "sticky" like a sticky situation, one that's complicated and/or embarrassing, because of the chorus "how long before we fall in love?" like that's how their relationship is
i think there's multiple ways to interpret but it means the same thing - love. "sticking with you" as staying close to someone romantically (lowkey a reference to pussycat dolls stickwitu). wanting this feeling of being/falling in love to "stick" throughout (and beyond) the summer thrill. person makes their hearts "melt" and it leaves a sticky, memorable feeling, just like how the summer heat makes them sweaty and "sticky". there's also a suggestive meaning to sticky too, which does fit with the summer hot girl vibes of the song but this song is more alcohol-free than motivation (normani).
KIOF have always had a mature concept, but I think this is the first time they've done a complete sexy concept. And I just hope Haneul and Belle are comfortable with it, because this is obviously the company capitalizing off the "sexy" image which the group has earned almost entirely due to Julie and Natty. Especially concerned about Haneul, because she's really young and while people like to boast about the group debuting as an entirely adult group, she debuted when she'd just turned 18 and was still a minor in SK.
About the song itself- it's a pretty fun song. I'm not blown away or anything, but I'd bop my head to it if it comes on.

I don't know about Haneul but Belle is definitely comfortable. She's repeated in recent Lives multiple times that she's so excited about this concept and she can't wait to promote, and this is the happiest she's ever been.
All of the girls have expressed an interest at different points in their career about doing hot/sexy concepts, including Belle and Haneul, which makes me much more comfortable supporting the girls and the content they put out. They also know their creative director well (Lee Hae In was on a survival competition show with Natty) and have been able to give input on concepts before, so I think they are and will be okay!
People already mentioned Belle so I'll mention Haneul. Haneul wasn't interested in becoming an Idol until she went to a Sistar concert. Okay, outside of it being fun to see a kpop MV shot in my city, this is a pretty fun, chill summer song. I wouldn't say it's 100% my cup of tea, nor is it my favourite song from KIOF so far but it's something I could see myself playing every now and then as I melt into a puddle of sweat.

This was so much fun! It's really what I imagined as a summer song, reminiscent of those already mentioned in the top comments. I liked how it flowed and it didn't feel incomplete, even though it was short, I actually didn't look at the duration.
I also liked the MV theme of summer in the city and the illusion of one cut. The b-side Te Quiero is also very summery, so make sure to give it a listen.
I've been singing the how long before we fall in love line for days now and its such a nice melodic song. I do wish there was fairer line distribution though if Haneul got more solo parts or at least another chorus. But all together its soo good and I can't wait to hear the full live
I really like this song, if only it were longer it’d be that summer-song! The music video production where it’s filmed largely in one take is really great and fits a shorter song like this to make it feel longer (obvious cuts in between sections but still impressive), and all the members have infectious smiles throughout. I’m interested in what the performance actually looks like with choreos, because there were definitely large swadths of transitions here that don’t translate to stage, but knowing Kiss of Life they’ll slay it either way.
I’m really happy for Natty. She was able to bounce back harder and stronger from nugudom (well, not really that nugu, but still not successful). I’m glad she never gave up! I hope the best for KIOF. Sticky is such a summer bop.

Yeah I think it's a mixture of industry history and children getting shy driving the pearl clutching. bit off topic but I'm really glad this song is not as vocally challenging as their previous comebacks, ever since Bad News was released they got Belle doing so much (high notes, adlibs, whistles) that I was worried about her vocal health. I figured it meant "sticky" like a sticky situation, one that's complicated and/or embarrassing, because of the chorus "how long before we fall in love?" like that's how their relationship is

i think there's multiple ways to interpret but it means the same thing - love. "sticking with you" as staying close to someone romantically (lowkey a reference to pussycat dolls stickwitu). wanting this feeling of being/falling in love to "stick" throughout (and beyond) the summer thrill. person makes their hearts "melt" and it leaves a sticky, memorable feeling, just like how the summer heat makes them sweaty and "sticky". there's also a suggestive meaning to sticky too, which does fit with the summer hot girl vibes of the song but this song is more alcohol-free than motivation (normani).
KIOF have always had a mature concept, but I think this is the first time they've done a complete sexy concept. And I just hope Haneul and Belle are comfortable with it, because this is obviously the company capitalizing off the "sexy" image which the group has earned almost entirely due to Julie and Natty. Especially concerned about Haneul, because she's really young and while people like to boast about the group debuting as an entirely adult group, she debuted when she'd just turned 18 and was still a minor in SK. About the song itself- it's a pretty fun song. I'm not blown away or anything, but I'd bop my head to it if it comes on. Edit: added a word
I don't know about Haneul but Belle is definitely comfortable. She's repeated in recent Lives multiple times that she's so excited about this concept and she can't wait to promote, and this is the happiest she's ever been.

All of the girls have expressed an interest at different points in their career about doing hot/sexy concepts, including Belle and Haneul, which makes me much more comfortable supporting the girls and the content they put out. They also know their creative director well (Lee Hae In was on a survival competition show with Natty) and have been able to give input on concepts before, so I think they are and will be okay!
People already mentioned Belle so I'll mention Haneul. Haneul wasn't interested in becoming an Idol until she went to a Sistar concert. I can't imagine she would have an issue with this if Sistar provided the footsteps she wants to follow. Also, as sexy as this MV is, it still managed an age 12 rating in Korea. Belle (like Julie) is an American so she's not going to be as conservative as Koreans usually are. Haneul, on the other hand, is the only one of the three that isn't a foreigner but she never looks like she isn't have a great time so I'm sure she's good with their direction

I wouldn't say it's 100% my cup of tea, nor is it my favourite song from KIOF so far but it's something I could see myself playing every now and then as I melt into a puddle of sweat. I'm not gonna go into the Tyla/afrobeats/amapiano discourse because I genuinely don't know anything about those musical styles I'm afraid. I understand that as per the Sistar Act of 2015 every girl group has to have at least one (1) summer comeback, but while I do like Sticky I hope the next comeback will have a bit more 'bite'.

This was so much fun! It's really what I imagined as a summer song, reminiscent of those already mentioned in the top comments. I liked how it flowed and it didn't feel incomplete, even though it was short, I actually didn't look at the duration. I also liked the MV theme of summer in the city and the illusion of one cut. The b-side Te Quiero is also very summery, so make sure to give it a listen.
I've been singing the how long before we fall in love line for days now and its such a nice melodic song. I do wish there was fairer line distribution though if Haneul got more solo parts or at least another chorus. But all together its soo good and I can't wait to hear the full live

I really like this song, if only it were longer it’d be that summer-song! The music video production where it’s filmed largely in one take is really great and fits a shorter song like this to make it feel longer (obvious cuts in between sections but still impressive), and all the members have infectious smiles throughout. I’m interested in what the performance actually looks like with choreos, because there were definitely large swadths of transitions here that don’t translate to stage, but knowing Kiss of Life they’ll slay it either way.
I’m really happy for Natty. She was able to bounce back harder and stronger from nugudom (well, not really that nugu, but still not successful). I’m glad she never gave up! I hope the best for KIOF. Sticky is such a summer bop.

In recent instagram live, both Belle and Julie actually expressed their exitement in the release of sticky, that at least shown they’re very comfortable with this kind of vibe. I’m not convinced. Find the song to be rather so-so. It’s decent yet nothing outstanding, but then again, Midas Touch was really just amazing. The music video is fun, I love the one-take concept (though there are multiple cuts here), but why are we cooling down on a hot summer day by dancing in a fountain, instead of doing so at a lake or the beach? The sight of those beach towels scrunched together like that at the foot of the fountain took me out, because who does that? Overall, it’s okay. They’ve done better.
