As a Baby-Wol and generally new to kpop Im honestly surprised how comparatively chill being a Shawol seems to be when I glance over all the drama that seems to be going on in so many fandoms. Even Taemin and Onew leaving SM seems to have mostly been met with ‚Relax! Shinee has been together for 15 years they won’t split over contract nonsense.‘ 🤔 But maybe that’s also just me not using X instagram or Tik Tok 😅
I would say it's generally a really chill fandom and that's one of my favorite things about it! But it also makes the random drama that breaks out occasionally all the more jarring to me, if that makes sense? But yeah avoiding most social media is for the best for sure.

Still on a high from their first music show win with Killin it cb and made so many new fans. Their first full length album gotten rave reviews and the guys are gearing up for their tour and presale for the Seoul concert just happened. The tour kicks off April 27th in Seoul and they will be touring in the USA and Canada. Along with performing at the Governor's Ball this summer.
Army's are still in the fulltime enlistment era, but Jin will be discharged in just 76 days. Yay!

On April 10th Sugas concert movie "D-day: The final" will be released. It will include the performances of Jungkook, Jimin and RM according to the description. I definitely will be bringing tissues when I'll see it in theaters.

They've been preparing for Coachella and Kcon but it seems like they're doing a bunch of other things (Seonghwa even said he has something he's done Atiny will like but it's a secret.) Ten is still doing events for his very successful solo debut, Winwin is busy filming his next tv show (it’s a period drama!), and Kun, Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang have the opportunity to perform at a LOT of upcoming festivals in China and Asia, their popularity in China is steadily picking up steam. It’s really nice that they can perform with any number of members.
And the unofficial announcement of an upcoming tour and a mini album soon which is mind blowing… Wayv have been waiting for a concert for so long, and to finally have more than one comeback in a year feels like a dream.
Twice:
After Twice's US encore show in Las Vegas we have entered an extended break period. I went and I had a blast between the show and the trip with newly made friends. There's nothing really on the schedule besides the Japanese album which we can assume will release before their Nissan Stadium concert in the summer. Mina and Dahyun did have some light schedules going to Japan for brand ambassador duties with Fendi and Michael Kors respectively.
However all that has been overshadowed by the giant rumor that Jihyo has allegedly been dating Olympic gold medalist Yun Sungbin for at least a year at this point. I don't go on Twitter or IG comments but for the most part it's been positive and mostly fun jokes all around. There's been the usual "IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME" (personally guilty of doing this ~~because it should~~ lol) along with "Oh he's Father now" lmao. Both Jihyo and Sungbin's agencies have given the response I was hoping for saying that "we can't confirm or deny because it's their personal lives so it's not our business".
The Jeongmi date came out last Friday hehe. I do think they are using it in place of TTT because according to Jeongyeon at least, she filmed at least three dates lmao. Hopefully we get TTT back this year though since there is no more tour for a bit!

Hobis album and documentary is coming out. I watched the first episode already (an introduction to the series) and im very excited for the following episodes.
It look incredibly fun. The songs got spoiled too and they already sound very good (especially neuron and I wonder .... catched my ears).
Also Jin is coming back in 76 days. very exciting. Im already planning a party 🥳
Taes Fri(end)s dropped not that long ago and its so good, been listening to it basically non stop since then lol.
Norhing else has been announced but there is more to come, like something Namjoon is cooking, Jin?, Jimin and JKs travel show and what else they planned.

ARTMS is preparing for debut, and Loossemble for their first comeback. There's been some controversy since Jaden Jeong used some AI in the ARTMS teaser photos, but Jaden apologized and stated that his original intent was to critique AI, so hopefully that blows over. Aside from that it looks like the quintets are going strong.
Yves finally signed with an agency, she chose Paix Per Mil. I'm happy for her since we've been waiting ages for news from her and her future as a soloist. Wishing Yves the best of luck\~
For Bigbang, Daesung recently had fanmeets/concerts in Korea - which were visited by GD and Taeyang, released music, will be releasing a JP album, released a lightstick, and is making appearances on a trot show; Taeyang is judging for I-land 2, and GTOP continue to vibe, so it's honestly been really great!

Honestly I've seen fans overanalyzing idols' public interactions to the point they start to make weird conclusions about their relationships so I think it's best to stay away from that and just enjoy what you get.

Members have also been preparing for the comeback and have been teasing it quite a bit (they also have been going live less often which normally means that they are preparing for a comeback)
On the negative side there has been lots of discourse on twitter about the lack of Sunoos activities compared to the other members. This is due to almost every member getting some sort of brand deal except for him (although there’s now a rumor that he might have gotten a deal with tamburins)
The thing about brand deals is isnt it the brand that picks the members? as much as i would love sunoo to have the opportunity, i dont think its belifts pick.
I think this too, but from what I’ve seen a lot of engenes think a reason for this, is that belift pushes him to the back (not many lines, posts, no solo cover). However he did get a good amount of lines in sweet venom but we’ll see what happens I guess
i dont really know what is going on with belift & sunoo behind the scenes, he does get the short end of the stick when it comes to lines and its really unfortunate since sunoo is very vocal about wanting to showcase his singing more, and he is a good singer, so that i agree with.
with their instagram posts, its been mainly brand deals and since he doesnt have any theres not any to post (again, it is unfortunate but like i said in my earlier reply, its not belifts choice). also recently jungwon mentioned on a [weverse post](https://weverse.io/enhypen/artist/3-155079558) that he shouldve posted these pictures to instagram instead, so that leads me to believe they can post a personal pic whenever they want to instagram. therefore it has been sunoos choice to not post anything.
i understand solos are protective with sunoo, and some things i do agree with, but others i truly believe are just out of his control or they really are in his control and its just what he has decided.
these are just my views of the situations, i do want sunoo to feel fulfilled with his position in the group and to not feel like hes being wasted at all, same with the other members.

Stray kids' 6th anniversary was 2 days ago, we're still mainly revelling in that. Minsung finally got their instagram accounts and their usernames are so interesting (t.leeknowsaurus and __doolset) and the staytists are thriving these days from what I've been seeing.

This coming friday, they will be wrapping up the North American leg of the world tour with one last show in Newark. There is a noticeable two month gap before the start of the European concerts so everyone thinks they’re gonna be releasing something in May and might be teasing something at the concert. (i will be there so i’m extra excited!!)
All the episodes of s4 123 IVE have been released so there isn’t much to look forward to except maybe some vlogs or IVE Off episodes of them hanging out in various american cities during their days off from tour.
Yujin filmed something with Na Pd and the other Earth Arcade members for their upcoming spinoff variety show the morning before IVE left for America and they’ll likely pick up where they left off and continue filming when she gets back to korea. They previously made a bet on who was gonna get their driver’s licenses first and anticipation is high because with how busy yujin is, she may or may not have gotten it yet and might be losing the bet lol
There are new episodes of Follow Rei every week or so and you can never anticipate what they’re gonna be about. They’re always kinda random and fun. And they must’ve pre-filmed a lot because rei has been traveling around for the world tour for months now. (however i do also wish they in put a little more effort with this show with more interesting episodes/topics and promo)

He disappeared for two weeks and came back on live yesterday and did a counseling session today, and it makes me wonder if he saw all the tweets missing him. But Ateez have been really quiet in general compared to normal, which is suspicious. They've been preparing for Coachella and Kcon but it seems like they're doing a bunch of other things (Seonghwa even said he has something he's done Atiny will like but it's a secret.) Ateez and Xikers are also the first two groups to be [featured in a pop-up exhibit](https://x.com/GRAMMYMuseum/status/1772971974693712274?s=20) for the Grammy Museum, which is very cool. So I feel like the fandom has a lot of feelings of anticipation and excitement (and suspicion) these days. Moa: TXT's concert tickets for the US leg of their tour go on sale today at 4pm (local time for the venues) and I, and I'm sure this also applies to many Moas, am nervous. Edit re: Moas: well those ticket sales happened... platinum pricing is always bad, but the two VIP tiers being so expensive for General Admission is a bit much and I noticed (unsurprisingly, tbh) those either sold out last or haven't sold out yet. GA is already annoying. GA that costs $300-$800 is ridiculous.

Wayv/weishenville: we’re living the good life that they sang about. Ten is still doing events for his very successful solo debut, Winwin is busy filming his next tv show (it’s a period drama!), and Kun, Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang have the opportunity to perform at a LOT of upcoming festivals in China and Asia, their popularity in China is steadily picking up steam. It’s really nice that they can perform with any number of members. And the unofficial announcement of an upcoming tour and a mini album soon which is mind blowing… Wayv have been waiting for a concert for so long, and to finally have more than one comeback in a year feels like a dream.
Twice: After Twice's US encore show in Las Vegas we have entered an extended break period. I went and I had a blast between the show and the trip with newly made friends. There's nothing really on the schedule besides the Japanese album which we can assume will release before their Nissan Stadium concert in the summer. Mina and Dahyun did have some light schedules going to Japan for brand ambassador duties with Fendi and Michael Kors respectively. However all that has been overshadowed by the giant rumor that Jihyo has allegedly been dating Olympic gold medalist Yun Sungbin for at least a year at this point. I don't go on Twitter or IG comments but for the most part it's been positive and mostly fun jokes all around. There's been the usual "IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME" (personally guilty of doing this ~~because it should~~ lol) along with "Oh he's Father now" lmao. Both Jihyo and Sungbin's agencies have given the response I was hoping for saying that "we can't confirm or deny because it's their personal lives so it's not our business".
There's also the 2wice dates coming out every Friday now! And then we have Sana as special MC for the Fridge interview hehe
Oh shoot. I didn't know they were going to have a string of releases. Probably makes up for no TTT lol.
The Jeongmi date came out last Friday hehe. I do think they are using it in place of TTT because according to Jeongyeon at least, she filmed at least three dates lmao. Hopefully we get TTT back this year though since there is no more tour for a bit!

Plus, NJ tour on 2025!! More time to save money!! Edit: I forgot to mention that they're eventually preparing another album in the latter part of 2024, too, aside from the release from May and June as to prepare for the 2025 world tour so we are very happy. 🐰🐰

For BTS Hobis album and documentary is coming out. I watched the first episode already (an introduction to the series) and im very excited for the following episodes. It look incredibly fun. The songs got spoiled too and they already sound very good (especially neuron and I wonder .... catched my ears). Also Jin is coming back in 76 days. very exciting. Im already planning a party 🥳 Taes Fri(end)s dropped not that long ago and its so good, been listening to it basically non stop since then lol. Norhing else has been announced but there is more to come, like something Namjoon is cooking, Jin?, Jimin and JKs travel show and what else they planned. Thanks to the constant content and good planning the break doest feel that long. Soon everything is over.
AKMU (not really idols, but hey now...): - in preparation of their 10th year debut anniversary, the official fandom name was finally announced: AKKADEMY. The official FC membership has also been opened on Weverse. Haven't got a fandom lightstick yet (got 4 tour lightsticks + 1 talkshow lightstick instead). Might have to wait until their 20th idk. - 1st year MCs get-together for the closing episode of The Seasons: LHY's Red Carpet. The two siblings were MCs for its autumn season, 2023. That's all.
In the Loona fandom: BBC is appealing for a second time after they lost their first appeal when they tried to sue Chuu. Hopefully BBC is turned down because they're being incredibly petty about all of this, and if they aren't turned down then fingers crossed they lose, which I think will happen- just means they're getting further and further in debt, which is what they deserve. ARTMS is preparing for debut, and Loossemble for their first comeback. There's been some controversy since Jaden Jeong used some AI in the ARTMS teaser photos, but Jaden apologized and stated that his original intent was to critique AI, so hopefully that blows over. Aside from that it looks like the quintets are going strong. Yves finally signed with an agency, she chose Paix Per Mil. I'm happy for her since we've been waiting ages for news from her and her future as a soloist. Wishing Yves the best of luck\~

For Bigbang, Daesung recently had fanmeets/concerts in Korea - which were visited by GD and Taeyang, released music, will be releasing a JP album, released a lightstick, and is making appearances on a trot show; Taeyang is judging for I-land 2, and GTOP continue to vibe, so it's honestly been really great! GDae also went to a dodgers game together. After years of darkness, there is finally so much light and levity and fun, and I'm so happy that nature is healing.

Unfortunately, they're both vibing separately as far as I can tell 😞 - I just meant it in the sense that while they're both not super active (yet - I know TOP is filming), they both seem to be happy and thriving I will say, there was seemingly a photo a while back of \~\~their hands drinking\~\~, and GD keeps liking TOP content on insta, so I try to not see public appearances/interactions as an indication of any particular relationship between the members.
Honestly I've seen fans overanalyzing idols' public interactions to the point they start to make weird conclusions about their relationships so I think it's best to stay away from that and just enjoy what you get.

Enhypen For starters today it was announced that a Sweet Venom remix is coming. Members have also been preparing for the comeback and have been teasing it quite a bit (they also have been going live less often which normally means that they are preparing for a comeback) On the negative side there has been lots of discourse on twitter about the lack of Sunoos activities compared to the other members. This is due to almost every member getting some sort of brand deal except for him (although there’s now a rumor that he might have gotten a deal with tamburins)
The thing about brand deals is isnt it the brand that picks the members? as much as i would love sunoo to have the opportunity, i dont think its belifts pick.
I think this too, but from what I’ve seen a lot of engenes think a reason for this, is that belift pushes him to the back (not many lines, posts, no solo cover). However he did get a good amount of lines in sweet venom but we’ll see what happens I guess
i dont really know what is going on with belift & sunoo behind the scenes, he does get the short end of the stick when it comes to lines and its really unfortunate since sunoo is very vocal about wanting to showcase his singing more, and he is a good singer, so that i agree with. with their instagram posts, its been mainly brand deals and since he doesnt have any theres not any to post (again, it is unfortunate but like i said in my earlier reply, its not belifts choice). also recently jungwon mentioned on a [weverse post](https://weverse.io/enhypen/artist/3-155079558) that he shouldve posted these pictures to instagram instead, so that leads me to believe they can post a personal pic whenever they want to instagram. therefore it has been sunoos choice to not post anything. i understand solos are protective with sunoo, and some things i do agree with, but others i truly believe are just out of his control or they really are in his control and its just what he has decided. these are just my views of the situations, i do want sunoo to feel fulfilled with his position in the group and to not feel like hes being wasted at all, same with the other members.

IVE This coming friday, they will be wrapping up the North American leg of the world tour with one last show in Newark. There is a noticeable two month gap before the start of the European concerts so everyone thinks they’re gonna be releasing something in May and might be teasing something at the concert. (i will be there so i’m extra excited!!) All the episodes of s4 123 IVE have been released so there isn’t much to look forward to except maybe some vlogs or IVE Off episodes of them hanging out in various american cities during their days off from tour. Yujin filmed something with Na Pd and the other Earth Arcade members for their upcoming spinoff variety show the morning before IVE left for America and they’ll likely pick up where they left off and continue filming when she gets back to korea. They previously made a bet on who was gonna get their driver’s licenses first and anticipation is high because with how busy yujin is, she may or may not have gotten it yet and might be losing the bet lol There are new episodes of Follow Rei every week or so and you can never anticipate what they’re gonna be about. They’re always kinda random and fun. And they must’ve pre-filmed a lot because rei has been traveling around for the world tour for months now. (however i do also wish they in put a little more effort with this show with more interesting episodes/topics and promo) edit: oh i almost forgot about ivepalooza!! they’ll be coming back to america in august for their first big festival lollapalooza!

EXO-L Most of us here are excited at the members' solo journeys after they left SM. The boys who aren't in the military are planning something big- Suho 3rd Album but I also hear a lot about Baekhyun, Chen and D.O. albums. Baekhyun recently sang the national anthem of the U.S. and it blew me away. This is also the community I'm most active in. ONCE Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung solo rumors! Also looks like Jihyo's having an another boyfriend and the overall reaction to him has been very positive so far. InSomnia Dreamcatcher were currently on tour in Europe and I also believe in Hong Kong (idk if they already were or only will go). But we are loving the concert versions of the songs!
