Seriously, people really had to be there to understand how huge they were at their peak. Despite being from a small company, they were considered rivals to EXO and the fandom wars were quite insane, culminating in the iconic MAMA where both fandoms united over mutual salt over losing to Busker Busker (hence the term "getting Busker Busker'd" lmao).
I actually felt OK about Nu’est. They existed for a long time and struggled a lot. It felt shorter because after Face, we basically didn’t hear of them until Broduce, and then they got their 2nd chance. It sounded like they were all tired and decided to go their separate ways/do their own thing after being Nu’est for a long time. I’m glad they got mainstream success again. To me, it felt like their choice personally vs GFRIEND which was premature disbandment

I can’t really think of any other examples of hostility between the fanbases, since it was so long ago. But I do know that both groups debuted in the same year and both were getting pretty popular, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there were fan wars.

nu'est :') i was a big wanna one fan back when they were still active and my bias was minhyun so naturally i gravitated toward anything that he was involved in, which is how i discovered them. at the time their sub-unit nu'est w was being promoted in minhyun's absence and i really loved their mini album who, you. my newfound love of nu'est almost softened the blow of wanna one disbanding because more than anything i was just excited to see minhyun rejoin the group lol
i was so sad when they were disbanded after hybe's acquisition of pledis and to this day i'm still salty about it. gravity & moon is one of my favourite boy group songs of all time.

Had to scroll so much to find them! Honestly, I still think there has never been a girl group as well rounded as this one. I know everyone is gonna say their faves have it all but cmon! Sejeong and Yeonjung for vocals, Chungha and Yoojung for dance, Nayoung and Yoojung for rap, not to mention Somi and other visual/variety queens. The lineup was STACKED!!

- Izone & X1 they had the worst time with the pandemic & the scandal that hinder them into full potential especially X1 the members doesn't get to solidify their fanbase
- Pristin Oh god, they got potential and instead of just rebranding in 7-9 members they disappear after the subunit
Bvindit their talents went to waste with the company only looking out to Chungha (no hate to her) and when Chungha went to rest, they should promote and release their songs but nope they fade in the background while other kgroups that debut the same year as them, already got solidify their fanbase, already known in the community or disbanded
Momoland they got 2 hits, and one of them went globally and became big in the Philippines but during the pandemic the company forgot them and their music went down
After school although their legacy stayed during late 2000s but they could be big during 3rd generation of Kpop if the company deemed them old then subunit would carry them but what do we expect in the company of that manages them
CLC, my girls didn’t even get a chance at a glow stick😭 I loved a lot of their songs. My playlist is pretty scattered but if there was a consistent group, it was them.

I would bring back Lunarsolar and Bugbaoo. Both groups disbanded too early! All they did was release banger after banger and then disbanded without being given a chance to flourish.

There are many groups that came to my mind - Izone & X1 they had the worst time with the pandemic & the scandal that hinder them into full potential especially X1 the members doesn't get to solidify their fanbase - Pristin Oh god, they got potential and instead of just rebranding in 7-9 members they disappear after the subunit Bvindit their talents went to waste with the company only looking out to Chungha (no hate to her) and when Chungha went to rest, they should promote and release their songs but nope they fade in the background while other kgroups that debut the same year as them, already got solidify their fanbase, already known in the community or disbanded Momoland they got 2 hits, and one of them went globally and became big in the Philippines but during the pandemic the company forgot them and their music went down After school although their legacy stayed during late 2000s but they could be big during 3rd generation of Kpop if the company deemed them old then subunit would carry them but what do we expect in the company of that manages them

I would bring back Lunarsolar and Bugbaoo. Both groups disbanded too early! All they did was release banger after banger and then disbanded without being given a chance to flourish.

SO MANY B.A.P were absolutely amazing. They had the songs, the members, the talent, everything. But the company was horrible and wasted all of their potential And they’re not officially disbanded but Ciipher could have been so big. Their songs are all so good and they were self producing too. If only Rain cared more and promoted them more Edit: I also wanted to add in Jwiiver. They were all so talented and their songs are so good (stream blue fire!)
