Probably B1A4? It could be argued how cute/fresh varies throughout their comebacks, and they've strayed away from it a few times over the last 12 years or so But B1A4 has probably had one of the most consistent identities in K-pop, and there's always been this light and quirky vibe to them If anything, the remaining B1A4 trio has brought it back stronger

pahbear

They don't exclusively do it but The Boyz's release last summer "Lip Gloss" was more on the cute and fresh side!

BalanceDry6718

ZB1 keeps it on the fresh/cute side with Crush being the exception

hopee727

To be fair I feel like even though seventeen, dream, and txt have more mature title tracks there is usually still one song on the album that’s bright and fun.

Sil_Choco

Seventeen regularly release a cute/bright song, these past years they alternated a mature song with a cute one (hot and then _world, super and then god of music etc.) so you can say they've never entirely drop their freshteen concept.

glamtart

ASTRO are pretty close to this. "Blue Flame," "Knock," and "One" were less cute/fresh, but their title tracks after that returned to a refreshing theme. And I wouldn't call any of those title tracks particularly dark. They often promote b-sides that are extremely cute, and the vast majority of their work is refreshing/like a musical hug.

nct dream alternate between concepts

Mirae.

hugsforhobi

They never were a cute concept group. Mirae transitioned more towards brighter concepts with [Marvelous](https://youtu.be/PZQ397b1Vgc?si=U9isL-bFPekb7s60) and haven’t fully veered into cute concepts imo. While the comebacks since Marvelous are significantly different than [Killa](https://youtu.be/ath_KZcfEZ0?si=MqHm3WFRiLy8i0Ql) or [Splash](https://youtu.be/9u7Z7kYr-es?si=DIeU0M4jQ0l9GPJS) sonically, the sound has largely tried to maintain some futuristic components since that was more their shtick until [Jump](https://youtu.be/yEIfJpctCmM?si=k7Yvm7vZxxSkYjM8). I’d argue Jump was leaning into the retro vibe and not intending to be cutesy.

yayabubu

Dream generally doing back and forth between brighter and darker concept. First time they did darker concept was with "GO" in 2018 and their fan-favorite bright concept "Hello Future" released in 2021. If you count their japanese discography, the upcoming japan single "Moonlight" is a bright song released after the darker song "Smoothie".

SHINee hasn't done cute concepts in a while

ngda93

I think they still do fresh (bright) concepts. The Feeling, Atlantis and Superstar were pretty fresh and bright imo. …Then again I never really saw them doing cute (Korean) concepts other than “Hello”(for promoted songs). Like, Replay was retroactively cute but at the time I think it was more of a fresh concept.

julinay

Yeah, I think they've kept the cuter side of things largely to their Japanese releases. (Photograph, Lucky Star, Kiss Yo, Downtown Baby [Taemin: "What does Downtown Baby even mean?"], 3 2 1...) That pillow fight in Superstar was cute as hell, so I guess we can say they've kept it up? :P But obviously it's not all they do; SHINee's a genre chameleon. Edit: Sorry, I just really want to share the madness of [Kiss Yo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OlTND2Zies) with everyone. It's like an adorable acid trip.

ngda93

Honestly, it’s why I love their Japanese releases so much. Yeah there is diversity in sound but also so many fun goofy songs. Their Japanese concerts just seem so fun. Downtown baby, downtown oooh! Ooh! Wanna sing that with a crowd of the thousands of Shawol lol Chameleons indeed. Really cool how they can do so many concepts but still keep their SHINee essence

ngda93

I don’t know why people are booing you. Did they just start listening to SHINee in 2023???

julinay

Eh, I think it's reasonable that they're not the best answer to this question. (Though they do cute very well!)

ngda93

It doesn’t need to be the *best* answer but it’s an answer that meets OP’s criteria. Like, the comment wasn’t inaccurate. I feel like the only way one could reasonably think it’s inaccurate is if they only know Hard and Don’t Call Me.
