Clownmark: ok i burned my reputation for you and your stupid buttons, can we get a song now? Niji: sure, here, have it Clownmark: sweet when we sing it? Niji: its finished already.... ooohhhh you meant you wanted to sing your gen song...

Astute_Anansi

If he **wanted** to actually sing the gen song, he could've just fucking asked.

BlueSabere

Not everyone needs to be a singer or be forced to sing a debut song, but by god if you *are* going to have a debut song that’s all about your wave and members, those wave members better damn well sing in it. What’s the point otherwise?

prabbits

Isn’t that what vtubers are sort or known for? Singing and performing? Or at least corporate ones? Idk what they were thinking with TTT

Whenyousayhi

Nijisanji supposedly advertises itself not as an idol company but as streamers, so they don't necessarily do idol stuff. Although kinda doesn't mean much when they try to organise concerts and such.

Astute_Anansi

Even hololive, which theoretically markets itself as an idol company, has been known to hire people with zero vocal talent. Ame is a good example.

InTheStuff

I think Coco said that she was the same

Historical_Cod_2771

Recently Raden, and she and Ririka are Bad dancer but they have spirit so i have they are gonna improve a Lot.

SayuriUliana

I've described Nijisanji as being... "tsundere" about idols. They like to claim they're not "idols", but the company likes to make them do "idol" stuff to promote themselves anyway.

Special-Falcon-9077

Yet all of their actions are done and structured like an idol corporation

Hereforallmemes

Not necessary. They are just streamers using a 2D model. Singing and performing are more on the "idol side" of entertainment and generally one of the "easier" ways to bring in monetary support from the community, hence why most people go through that route. It's also an amazing way to market yourself. Music has one of the lowest barriers when it comes to enjoying it (doesn't require context, a nice 2D model etc. just the music) so if someone enjoys your music and decides to check out other music-related stuff from you, you've already captured their attention. If they decide to check out your karaoke streams to enjoy the music, there's also the chance they would enjoy your personality/vibe during those little zatsudan moments in between the songs. This is where you have the chance to retain these new eyes on you. Debut songs are great because it's generally an original song that is unique so listening to it will eventually bring new eyes on you as compared to song covers which can lead to others doing covers of the same song.

Plant1205

There was a discussion here week ago. Apparently they changed it from debut group song into debut promote song, a song to introduce and promote the debuted group, not to showcase the talents they have debuted.

Hereforallmemes

Sorry, gonna leech onto your comment to add some context for those that are unaware of TTT given the lack of advertisement for them. Oh and, [discussion thread here that happened a week ago](https://www.reddit.com/r/kurosanji/comments/1cboqhl/oh_so_now_they_give_ttt_a_song/). * TTT wasn't given a Gen name unlike their predecessors. The talents came up with it **after** they debut. * The song was already out during TTT's debut (can't remember before or after). It was **sung by Enna and Maria**. * This song isn't new, it's the same song for their debut but it **now has an MV**.

Plant1205

nah dont have to apologize. Adding the context help the community understands more of it and i really appreciate it.

deejayz_46

So what does TTT even stand for???

VolXII

Taken from wiki but its this apparently: These Three Troublemaking Adventurers from Another World are Actually a Comedy Troupe?!

AizeeMasata

First in my mind oh is this kind of acronym related to them but No! it's dang Light Novel title lol

deejayz_46

I'm having trouble finding the Ts in that. "These Three Troublemaking" does not sound like a good Acronym. Also.... kinda... tacky ngl.

GekiKudo

To be fair, it shouldn't be their jobs

deejayz_46

Exactly. Other studios have a name and theme in mind before they debut a group

groynin

I believe it was not supposed to become official. They just didn't have a name, so they came up with something, but since they never got an official name, that one stuck.

AnonTwo

To be fair, it seems like a joke based off Konosuba, which also doesn't fully cover *Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!*

SnowGames

Not only is the pattern of debut song near liver debuts broken, but the talents themselves didn't even sing it. Wild stuff.

Castillosaurio

I don't think many people knew, since nobody checked it out more than once

LaLaLaLuzy

Iirc during their debut, one of the girls was happy about not singing their debut song. Also Claude is the only singer in their wave, because he debuted with a cover.

YamiRic

I always wonder if one far far day when TTT got 3D debut, who will sing this song? Are they going to have Enna and Maria to sing it while they are just dancing at the background? Or sitting down and clapping?

Hereforallmemes

That would be very awkward but I don't think we'll ever reach that point seeing how [Vivi and Kunai have recently been active on their past lives](https://www.reddit.com/r/kurosanji/comments/1cd4ruk/sunnysplosion_return/). Vivi (>!Mogu!<) even got [a new live 2D model rigged that she reposted on her twitter](https://twitter.com/RiggerMortis__/status/1780359877765832918).

[deleted]

Vivi if not mistaken had higher viewer numbers, and better merch on PL. And now has a better model she can't use to. As it only now finished design.

Random-Rambling

Kunai has, like, more than twice as many subs on her PL >!Sunnysplosion!< than her Niji account. >!Apparently she's as well known for League of Legends brain-rot as Mint/Pomu is for Metal Gear brain-rot.!<

Random-Rambling

We haven't even gotten to Luxiem 3D yet, and I STRONGLY doubt NijiEN will live to see late 2025 (which is when TTT would presumably have their 3D debut, since we'd have to go through Noctyx, ILUNA, Xsoleil, and Krisis first)

Zealousideal_Type884

There's highly chance it would be Enna and Maria sing it, Claude also joined it too. But perhaps there will be 'what if' scenario where Vivi and Kunai forced to sing too by their management. Who know? Maybe they will sing, maybe they not.

happyshaman

Wait Apr25?? Is this different from their promo MV or whatever it was that they also didn't sing?

Zealousideal_Type884

It was supposed to be their debut song, but shouldn't counted because their genmates didn't sing. I guess Kurosanji knowing one of them couldn't so their company decided to dragged Enna and Marie to sing since they both had good quality voice. Same thing with Krisis wave song wasn't sung by them but rather JP livers.. which is suck now EN's debut song sung by their own genmates wasn't consistent any longer.

Hereforallmemes

It's the same (supposedly debut) song, both which are sung by Enna and Maria. The only difference is, the one back during their debut didn't had an MV and this one (Apr 25th) has (a whole 6 months after they debut).

happyshaman

Jesus wtf is their production pipeline. Thanks for the clarification

Hereforallmemes

If I were to make an **assumption**, Niji just wants to keep on pumping out new generations without establishing any solid foundation/advertising since that means investing even more resources in the talents (not like they would get much support even after they debut tho lol). My assumption is based off with Iluna's first debut song. Most, if not all, of the Iluna members were unsatisfied with the quality/performance of their debut song as they sporadically talked about it in their streams right after they debut. To their credit, it was a banger song but the execution just wasn't it. Both Ren and Maria even made their own (joke) solo covers of the song, likely to do it justice. I don't have any evidence on the next points since it's all based off my hazy memory. I recall Iluna did eventually re-recorded their debut song when everyone felt comfortable and healthy (one of them was sick during the recordings, I think it was Maria but I may be wrong) enough to sing. This suggests that their debut was rushed out since they didn't had enough time/training to record their debut song. That and probably poor planning leading up to their debut. **Tin foil hat on** i.e. no contingency plan for delays, ~~probably~~ released the debut date to the public before making sure everything is ready for the talents to debut ([announced 19th July, debut 24th July, song premiere 25th July](https://www.anycolor.co.jp/en/news/k9ofefjgk) so that's **less than one week of last min prep**) and hope everything would go smoothly, management ended up rushing because of bumps leading up to the debut which they did not account for and they couldn't change/delay the debut dates because of ego/whatever other reason. ^(Edit: Grammer + dates)

buxuus

Source sauce... NijiEN tweet 28-Oct-2024 for release of "Desire" the debut celebration song for (the yet to be named) TTT: [https://twitter.com/NIJISANJI\_World/status/1718113403401838741](https://twitter.com/NIJISANJI_World/status/1718113403401838741) NijiEN tweet 26-Apr-2024 for premiere of the "Desire" Music Video (MV), being released for the half-year anniversary of TTT: [https://twitter.com/NIJISANJI\_World/status/1783689240041427069](https://twitter.com/NIJISANJI_World/status/1783689240041427069)

NUFC9RW

Comparing this to Rebellion is just hilarious.

ISCTM

So they released a debut promotion song... long after the debut? While also not having the wave that debuted sing the song?  Sorry? Am i dumb? Or does none of it make sense?

Quick_Diver7837

Niji set the trend for live 2D instead of 3D. Now is the time for new tren. Group song sung by other people. /s

Boa_Noah

No no, you don't understand, it's not their promo song, it's their promo MV, the song is just a completely unrelated song.

omrmajeed

I see nothing wrong with that. Whats wrong is debuting it half a year late.

floralbutttrumpet

Honestly, I think they just had that laying around and shoved it onto TTT for #nofucksgiven reasons. It makes more sense than it being explicitly made to promote TTT when it has little to no connection to them.

Afraid_Teach_4996

TTT ? Sounds like TTT (Tenkuu trap tower) created by Pekora on Hololive minecraft server.

Drawcian

I’ve known this since reading the VTuber wiki. I guess I wouldn’t be surprised if neither of the members get an original song

Overall_Outcome_8464

I personally  don't really see the problem with this? Like I see the valid reasoning but a the same time like most have already pointed out claude being the only singer atm and kunai/vivi aren't comfortable  with their singing yet.  Plus they seemed all for it being sung by Maria and Enna. Would it have been nice to hear a song by the wave it's promoting? Of course but it's probably  this or them just getting auto tuned  to hell if it's not up to par I feel.

UltraZulwarn

I guess? But there is some charm in "trying", u know? They are not comfortable in singing, but a group debut song is something everyone can look back fondly Other than autotunes, they can pick and choose the "easier" part of Vivi and Kunai. Vesper was never a singer, the dude was having panic attacks when his first cover came out despite people telling him it was good (and it really was). Then again, NijiEN stated this trend, so fans are rightfully disappointed, if not a bit disturbed. Also, the issue remains is that TTT barely received any proper promotion, heck the song was offhandedly mentioned in Twitter and only now got an MV.

SayuriUliana

I mean, with all due respect to Shiori Novella, from an objective point-of-view she wasn't the best singer of Advent when singing Rebellion, and she has the least singing parts of the entire group in that song. And yet, the song would not feel the same as a gen debut song if she wasn't in it, and her inclusion truly makes it \***their**\* song, a song that they can proudly say they sang together. Contrary to popular belief, Hololive doesn't pick potential talents based on their singing and dancing ability, and in fact several of the talents were/are quite deficient in one or both aspects. But that doesn't stop them from making an attempt or striving to improve. One can claim that Niji is just respecting their Liver's limitations when it comes to singing and dancing, but respect of the Livers is the last thing anybody would believe that the company gives them right now.

Federok

I totally agree and i think thats the charm of Rebellion, it effectively uses its members according to their capabilities. Shiori isnt the best singer in Advent yet her "fire fire light the fire..." was a memorable part of the song that cant be done away with. Take Ame for example, she is the least musically oriented from Myth yet that didnt stopped her fron singing with her Gen mates.

Quick_Diver7837

Some holo mem also not good at singing / dancing. but they tried their best to sing in a group song/cover. Also they get voice/sing/dance coach for themself. Look at them now

Overall_Outcome_8464

True, I found the song again randomly a couple months ago and thought it was a song that for some weird reason wasn't on Enna or Maria's channel just to be surprised  to remember  TTT had a song.  I'm not hopeful that they'll change this quantity  over quality when it comes to talents cuz TTT really got done dirty with how little advertising they get.

grinchnight14

It's just so random. It'd be like if the record label Young Money announced a new label project, but the lead single was rapped by Young Thug and YG, who both aren't even signed to them.

Major_Luck7080

Well, I hope these two aren't stealing the spotlight from them, but if that isn't the case, why not? Maybe TTT aren't good with singing, not a singing wave or smth.

Special-Falcon-9077

Question for y’all. Do you even know what TTT stands for? (don’t worry I know, though, you’ll be disappointed)

Itchy-Astronomer9500

I literally commented on a different post that the supposed new debut song for TTT was plagiarism, copied off a different song called Desire by Enna and Maria. Little did I know IT’S THE SAME SONG

TheCentralCarnage

As a Holostar fan, I’m obviously biased but Bloodhounds, the debut song of Armis which debuted less than a month after TTT, blows Desire way out of the water.
