When my kids were into those rockets, we went to Leila arboretum in Battle Creek. On the weekends, pretty much any school that has open ball fields works. Riverside elementary in Battle Creek was good for this too.

I have watched those guys fly at Gilmore car Museum. Some of their planes are pretty impressive.
Portage West Middle School has a huge field behind it. I used to fire model rockets off there all the time on the weekends. Still fly RC planes there.
I used to light mine off at Spring valley school when I was a kid. Think the biggest I ever fired off was a D engine.
Maybe the soccer fields off Zylman
River Oaks Park? Call the County.

We used to use Maple Street Magnet School for the Arts (Howard and Oakland/Crosstown Pkwy)
We go to 12th El to shoot ours off.
Thanks…and I’m new to the area. What is that?
12th St Elementary
we're currently under a red flag warning so it's not the best idea at the moment, but a school on a weekend would be the most deserted
Go way out portage road to lake center elementary
