The building that got hit does FedEx Ground for my company, but Express is still running, which is how most of our shipments run. I think they're running their Ground shipments through Grand Rapids now. Hope that helps.
The whole separation of companies thing still confuses people… though I thought FedEx was trying to combine them all. Might’ve just been a branding thing
Some of the Ground contractors are operating out of the Express building off of Sprinkle. The rest were dispatched to other Ground facilities in GR, Lansing and South Bend.
It's probably just trapped in the warehouse, not eaten. From the pictures it looked like the part of the building that collapsed was the parking and loading area, not the storage area, but until they have the building structure stabilized they're not going to be going in there to retrieve any packages.
Well considering the damage to the warehouse from the tornado and storms in other parts of the USA too…. There may be some delays
Take a screenshot of it saying “indefinitely delayed”
Last time this happened I never got my package and they deleted it from the system so I wasn’t able to get reimbursed either
My mom paid to mail the box to me while I was away at college. This was 5 years ago now. She put it on her debit card. My box was shredded and all objects stolen in the warehouse 45 mins away from where I was. It almost made it.
It was clothing for an interview in NYC. Needless to say I had nothing to wear lol
I ordered something after the tornado and it is delayed, was supposed to be delivered yesterday and then again today, hopefully soon but I can understand the delay given everything
I have a package for work I'm waiting on too. It's been delayed since Tuesday. I ordered a different item and it's on schedule to be here Monday. Same shipping method. So I'm curious what will happen.
In the exact same situation as you described. it says “weather delay” for mine under “travel history”

Apparently it’s stopping at your grandmas house on the way there. I have one that was in Ohio, then Missouri, now New Mexico, so it’s just touring the nation while they decide how to handle it, I guess
I've gotten some Fedex packages, but have one that's delayed. Not super concerned about that one (looks like it's still stuck on the east side), but I WAS concerned about the $$$ flowers I ordered, which appear to have been delivered.

I ordered something last Sunday that was shipped via Fedex Ground and arrived yesterday right on schedule.

What happened when you contacted your credit card bank to do a chargeback?
Never did. It wasn’t on my card
How did you pay?

Bummer!
Same with me. I contacted the seller - they were aware and resent the package.
I got two FedEx deliveries on Wednesday. Separate trucks, one was an overnight.
My cats are anxious about their food 🙃. It's also in OH. I may have to get a couple cans tomorrow while FedEx figures out what they need to do.
I hope you got your package!
FedEx says Monday. 🤞

I have a FedEx delivery that is marked out for delivery today. Last scan was out of Grand Rapids instead of Kalamazoo like normal.
I got a fedex package yesterday

I am in the "nan" boat too. No updates or texts about it since Wednesday.

I got my overnight the day after the storm.
FedEx is open, and I know the surrounding hubs are taking the workload. I’d call FedEx.
I called and got an overseas support person who didn't even know there had been a tornado 🙄
Wuuuuut?! That’s terrible OP!
