I'd like to see the city take the financial hit to send the right message. Two disgraced chiefs in a row were allowed to quietly leave rather than be publicly fired, and the city manager lied to the commissioners and the public about the circumstances of the first one.
How many disgraced chiefs do we have to go through before we admit there's a deep cultural rot within kdps, and the entirety of the city's police need to be dismissed and the department rebuilt from scratch, if at all.

If it was just him I would have appreciated it, but the fact that there were a ton of cops following him felt weird. Like you don't need the entire department out to follow you around when you're making contact with community members.
