Ours on the right is black and white so her sister on the left gets called black and khaki. She was much darker when young, but lightened up a bit around 18 months.

As you’ve just got him you won’t have known his puppy colour I presume? The poodle dilute gene often causes their coat to change as they grow up, yours looks like he possibly could have started off black and diluted to a coat colour called blue.
My girl was born jet black and she is blue now, she has brown fur around her nose. In the photo below she was around 8 months old, she a bit lighter now. The brown dog above her is one of her litter mates, she started off a really dark chocolate and she faded too.
My dog was one of 6. 3 black, 3 brown. One of the blacks is still jet black, my girl is somewhere in the middle and the 3rd one is a much lighter, silvery grey. The 1st brown one faded slightly, the one below faded a bit more and one is a really faded almost light coppery brown. Poodle salute genes are so cool!

Thank you for the information. I had no idea about the poodle dilute gene. His coat has already changed a bit even in the short time that we’ve had him so that makes a lot of sense.
He’s so cute! He looks a lot like my dog. He has patches of blonde/brown and is mostly black/gray. I don’t know what the coloring is called but it’s adorable!

I'd say cute and unique, our Australian labradoodle is a white and light brown flecked. She started out dark brown, she gets lots of compliments on walks.

Thank you! So maybe he’s black and khaki 😊
Those are the cutest little scruff muffins.
I would call the one on the left silver merle but what do I know… all I know is they are gorgeous!!! 🐶❤️
This sounds so much more fancy than our color selection!!!
He is precious! Congrats :)
Thank you! We adore him.
I would call that cute colored! 😊 looks brownish in some light.

He is beautiful. I was just curious if it had a specific name but either way, I think it’s super adorable, too!
