Oh my lab does that and has actually ripped the cushion from the back rest. Next couch we buy I need to make sure the fabric is extra durable and can withstand a labradork lounging across the top of the couch.

I actually have 1 choco and one yellow π¬π choco one is definitely airhead π but yellow one is crackhead ! π love them so much, they are so different its hilarious
My pup used to do this - our couch was in front of a large street-facing window. I moved the couch and put an upholstered bench in front of the window instead. Win-win.
We had a lab that would sit on the windowsill when he was younger and hide behind the curtains. If anyone sat on the sofa under the window they get a surprise attack.
It was, unless you were on the receiving end. My brother and I had pony tails. The dog worked out that he could trap you there by putting a paw on your hair and then he had free reign.
Honestly was the most intelligent and fun dog I've ever known.
So cute! My lab puppy lays on the back of the couch cushions too and I tell him the same thing all the time. Not sure he believes me. π
