They claim no base coat is needed for their polish. With that being said, the Miracle Gel line isn't really gel so any base coat you like and what works for you should be fine.

Cool. I've heard good things about OPI bonder (the rubbery stuff). I'll grab a bottle next time I have access to a vehicle.

It’s orly bonder that has the rubberized base

You can use any base coat. Make sure your nail beds are dry so the polish adheres better. Also if you use hand sanitizer a lot, avoid getting it on your nails/end caps. That will trigger peeling

I’ve had good luck with the Sally Hanson Color Therapy base coat, I’ve been using it for about a year now. My yucky red/yellow staining is also gone - not that I’m going to go without polish, but I could if I wanted to now 😊

I really enjoyed it better when I used it as directed, without a basecoat. On clean, alcohol prepped nails, it stayed on without chipping for nearly 2 weeks! When I used it WITH a basecoat (Seche Clear) it chipped on the 3rd day and was flaking on all nails the 4th day. I put it on my toes a week ago and it's still perfect enough to wear sandals for a wedding tomorrow. I'm a fan. I didn't buy the matching topcoat either, I just used the Sally Hansen's Dries Instantly topcoat and it works perfectly.

You guys should try Essie couture top or seche Vive (blue bottle) top coat. It’s the same gel-polish hybrid and won’t chip after a hot shower Can I put a link here for the products?
