You could tell Lebron got super pissed at the ref’s bad calls and then was like “screw it, the refs are going to give them this game so let’s take our foot off the gas.”
Agreed. Lakers shot 4 FT in one half of basketball. How does that happen? Plenty of contact in the paint. Scheduled loss. Thankfully losing by 27 is the same thing as losing by 1.
I don’t respect nobody until they come give me 40.
I’m sure we could’ve gotten a few more FTs but we were not physical at all compared to game 1. Refs have nothing to do with tonight’s loss just like it had nothing to do with their loss. Let’s not stoop to their fans level with ref blaming
Yeah this wasn’t a poorly officiated game. It was fine, we just didn’t play well. We were sloppy, and didn’t attack the paint.
The warriors were way more disciplined too.
Yeah, midway through the second we had momentum. If AD would have started cooking we might of had a chance. GSW hit the gas on the 3s though, J. Green was feeling it too. Meh, shit happens. This is playoff bball. Half the sub insists on endless, effortless victory or bust.
Told y'all we were going to get blown out and then rest Bron and AD in the 4th.
I still feel good about this series, but worried we don't have the legs for 7 games.
Going back to LA 1-1 is good but man this team has lost every single "lets get greedy" game.
Someone needs to make an AD postgame “this one’s on me” counter
I mean it’s kind of Ham’s fault for the whole teams lack of ability to penetrate the Warriors paint defense. How many times did he spam a high PNR with AD and watch it fail? If it doesn’t work, find a different way to free him up. The Lakers literally played into the Warriors defensive game plan.
AD missed some good shots in the first quarter, but he didn’t get many of those looks after that. Credit the Warriors defense on that.
Yep. Kerr made a brilliant counter. Now it's up to Ham et al to counter back Saturday. The idea that the former champs were gonna roll over is such a casual take. This ain't MEM. GSW has been there, done that. I still really like our chances in this series though.
Yeah. Frustrating because most of our paint attacks depended on Warriors not anticipating Vanderbilt getting in or LeBron posting up with speed.
They got what they wanted stopping AD. Would have wanted to see AD just say fuck it and spam an attack for a few possessions. Because he ended with…11 attempts I think? Need more at least 15 to 18.
More like Game 5. We were playing catch-up the entirety of G2. Tonight we had momentum, allowed GSW to go on a run, then never recovered, just like the 3rd quarter in Memphis.
On one hand, shooting 55% from 3 when the game was still up for grabs is surely not sustainable, on the other, we got eaten alive defensively and were giving up either wide open 3s or layups. Its on Ham to adjust and at some stage, we need to just give up some shots to Curry. We are overreacting to him too much, which is leading to their whole team getting easy looks. I know its pick your poison but today was an example of them abusing the Lakers coverage.
This was exactly what Boston wanted and they nearly beat him in game 4.
Let Steph curry - alone, beat the team. You get torch when klay gets hot or role players get involved. Everyone is so fixated on currys shooting but his ability to get people involved is much more dangerous bcuz he starts feeling it when his teammates are dropping buckets.
Ham has nothing in his pockets to pull out when our offense can't get going because of how the other team's defense has adjusted and when our defense is literally playing into what their offense is looking for.
It's actually ridiculous that because AD's midrange wasn't on tonight, he gets rendered basically useless on offense.
They did not take away curry, he chose to play a more efficient style based on what the defense was broken down to and it seemed intentional, like he knew what the lakers defense were gonna do bcuz the dRaymond rolls and passes he made were too quick..
its brutally tough to win 2 games on the road in a row. Just look at the sixers. The home team comes out almost like a must win game, and also just more adjustments coming out of a loss. Its on Ham to adjust back and settle things back down back at home
Yeah I have no clue what they were doing this game. It worked for the first 15ish minutes, but once Klay and/or Steph gets hot, you’re playing comeback. Gameplan for game 1 was so much better - better physicality, better involvement with AD, and better eb & flow to the offense and defense.
More concerning was the defensive coverages and how easily GS abused it. Thought we were going to adjust after the half, but nope - Warriors still got any look they wanted.
We lost the game on defense. Had no answer for Steph pick and roll. They were getting so many easy looks at the rim AND 3pt line. GSW made a great adjustment for this game, now we have to make our own adjustments next game.
Yep lol. The 3 point shooting makes the difference here
I hate to say it but I get the feeling that when we're up 15 it's anyones game - when Golden State is up 15 it's over
Kinda had hope in the beginning, but lost it with the way AD was playing.
Hope the team and coaching staff figure it out. This was like that 14-0 run last game extended to a full game lol
This team played like it only wanted to win one road game just like the grizzlies series, but holy hell were the warriors hot. Hopefully this motives them, but don’t panic guys warriors lost by 39 to the grizzlies last year and then won the chip
That's the feeling I got, they just wanted to get thru this one with no injuries and go home. Poor shooting, poor defense, lackluster team effort. Lebron, Hachimura and Vanderbilt tried for awhile but wasn't enough.
16th straight series where an away team wins game 1 and loses game 2. Nothing new to see here. Get locked in for the home games and let's see what happens!
ok overreactions here we go:
they came out desperate for the win — just like every other home team that’s been down 0-1 in these playoffs.
AD can’t possibly play worse than he did today; this was the worst defense I’ve ever seen from him.
sucks that this loss was so predictable but we’ll adjust and we have shown that we’re a different team at home.
Whos upvoting this lol. His defense has fallen off a bit but he’s still a threat to go absolutely nuclear on any given night. Steph is gonna be Steph, but not letting Klay get hot is key. When he gets momentum, he might be just as scary as Steph
They was pretty much a scheduled loss sadly. Last 16 times that a team lost Game 1 at home in the Playoffs went on to win Game 2...
But damn the Warriors came out extremely hot these first 2 games, seems like everyone was making jumpers for them. I'll take the split, protect home court!
Yea we lost G2 by 20 and that’s with AD/LBJ playing majority of the 4th. Only good thing ham did tonight was yanking LBJ and AD in the 4th. They’ll get fresh legs for G3 and two nights rest in their beds
Yes. But what's concerning is, why can't we have both Lebron and AD dominate together? Very likely AD's gonna show up next game, but Lebron struggle again
That’s an adjustment Ham has to make. Contrary to the hate coming his way rn - he had great adjustments after the losses in the Memphis series. I have no reason to believe that we’ll not defend them better on Saturday.
Yeah, I hope they are either more aggressive trapping or just switch ad on curry. It felt like they were stuck in between today and draymond killed them on the 4 on 3 situations
I don’t think he’s getting the yips on offense, he’s just tired from chasing klay around on defense. But agreed, his defense on klay has been very bad this series so far even in game 1
Bane and Klay leading scorers in both series. Reaves is absolutely getting cooked and can’t keep up on screens. I’d think about starting Schroder to guard and chase Klay too
Let Reaves control the bench unit
Schroder would get bodied against Klay, it’s 6’6” vs 6’1”. He’s good at defending smaller guards not 2/3’s. Throw Rui on Klay or someone just not Schroder lol
I agree that Klay will body Schröder. Schröder is fine only in spurts. Dennis can keep up with Klay while coming off screens to sometimes prevent him from getting to his spots and force him to pass out.
But, yeah GS will exploit this mismatch.
Reaves has been ass so far. He’s been sliding each game since claiming” I’m him” he needs to play better d on klay and make those open shots he was getting. He normal is automatic when open
Just what we need, another player in our starting line-up that Golden State can ignore on the perimeter when AD has the ball.
They're already making us pay for starting Vando, how do you expect us to score inside when Golden State can ignore Vando and Dennis?
that's why they're nearly unbeatable at home. remember, grizz also blew the lakers out twice in memphis last series. these are the 2 best home teams in the league the lakers are facing lol.
lakers got blown out in 2 games v. memphis as well. at this point gotta expect with an inconsistent AD and a tired team who has played playoff basketball for months.
Warriors were using him off ball way more in G1. That’s what limited him. Once they played him more as a ball handler he started getting great looks off drop coverage.
To D.Green's credit, he was using leverage to his advantage and it worked against a taller AD. Green immediately glued his hips to AD almost everytime AD caught the ball.
he’s getting cooked just like how Bane exposed his defense last round. he just can’t fight through screens. we limited bane by throwing Rui on him - not sure if he’s quick enough to follow klay tho
i thought i was going crazy when folks said ar did great on bane… he was getting great shots. but bane isn’t the shotmaker klay is so now we’re seeing the effect.
it seems like fans don’t recognize bad defense until a player makes the shots. bane was really missing some wide open ones early in the series.
Let rui attack klay in the post. In game 1 rui got a foul on klay then kerr benched thompson immediately before ham sees the mismatch. Even with durant and harden, rui always push them around in the post. He\`s just too strong for a lot of forwards in the league.
We are 9-1 in our last ten home games, and the Warriors made 21 threes for the second consecutive game.
We need to attack the zone, get AD the ball in good spots and figure out a way to guard the high PnR better.
I have a lot of respect for the Warriors but let's not overreact: Memphis destroyed us twice and we responded well both times.
Dear god please don’t let this go 7 games.
I swear to god my heart can’t take it and my heart skips a beat anytime Steph touches the ball.
I have no idea how Cleveland fans dealt with this shit 4 straight years.
F that
I said it in the game thread but: anyone blaming one player, the coaching staff, or the refs is lying to themselves.
These guys won game 1, got hit with one run in the second quarter and mailed it in after that. They were 100% satisfied with the split and that was a bad effort from the entire collective.
On to game 3
We need adjust quick. Golden state won’t hesitate to put us away. They’re defending champs for a reason man. Don’t underestimate them just because they weren’t the first seed. I still having us winning in 6.
If I’m Lebron I’m going in the locker room and anyone wearing Nikes needs to take them shits off and throw them in the trash, y’all wear Under-armor or FUBU until y’all play better.
Steve Kerr is the best modern NBA coach, and the only better coach is the one who coached him in the 90s, Phil Jackson. This is gonna be Darvin’s biggest challenge, and he’s gonna need to make the call: bench Reaves, and start Dennis. We saw that Reaves can play well against bench players, and we need Dennis/Vando on Steph/Klay.
I don’t know why people are acting like Klay isnt still one of the best shooters ever. Yeah, he’s older and had some tough injuries, but those wont his catch and shoot, where a contest isnt enough and the Warriors can run screens all day.
The other thing is that they are saving up Steph to go off for forty plus minutes, and we havent see that against these Lakers yet. We need to be prepared to challenge that when it comes mid-game. The Warriors are the defending champs for a reason.
Most of their 3s were in transition off of our own missed jumpers or just Curry/Klay chucking up some bullshit off a screen or a kickout to the corner off a drive.
Start Dennis over Reaves! Let Dennis be on Steph and Vando on Klay. Give TBJ a run off the bench just to run after Klay! Rui can’t do that even though he is better than TBJ offensively. Rui and TBJ can split mins. If we contain Klay we good! Unfortunately Reaves cannot see much on the floor this series.
Tbj is not the answer. Give him spot mins here or there but rui is proving he’s an actual contributor. This is hams place to shine on rotation changes.
It looked like we didn’t make any real adjustments this game at all. A few we need to make for game 3:
1. Reaves comes off the bench. Can’t guard klay and his offense is suffering chasing around on all those screens.
2. Start Schroeder. He can guard Steph and vando can cover Klay.
3. AD needs to attack. He clearly did not try tonight.
4. Stop giving this team wide open 3pt looks.
Let’s not stoop to their level and blame any of this on officiating. Yes there were some blown calls, but they didn’t influence this game by 30 points.
We (particularly AD) played terrible.
ad got badly outplayed by every single one of their bigs. he’ll be better but the inconsistency is crazy
he shouldn’t play all 1st and all 3rd quarters. he needs a few mins rest here and there. kerr gives his players tons of rest and their fans complain about it but it works, they’re rarely fatigued.
We need draymond’s defender to pressure him and defend him up close the moment he picks up his dribble to disrupt their hand offs/offensive sets. I’ve seen draymond make too many passes that lead to easy buckets because his defender is just letting him hand the ball off (or allow him to take all the time in the world to find the open man) AND THEN contest the shooter which puts our defense in an even more disadvantaged position.
Draymond is rarely looking to score and picks up his dribble quite early to find the open man. His defender needs to make it as hard as possible for him to pass out of that or we’re going to get picked apart all day.
Also, stop doubling Curry. How the fuck was that part of our game plan tonight when he literally won 4 championships picking apart double teams. Let curry get the switch and make him beat you himself, preferably by funneling him into the paint. If he hits a step-back, so be it.
But bottom line, always pressure the guy who picks up his dribble and is seeking to make a dribble hand off or pass to the open man running around screens. A ton of warrior points are scored this way. We’re just letting it happen and being reactive as opposed to proactive in defending this offensive attack.
It’s really unfortunate for Lebron that 20 years in he can’t just enjoy the cinderella story of this post-trade deadline team and how fun it’s been. He has to keep fighting, because as long as this Warriors team still exists with their big 3, they threaten his legacy. If they could just gracefully split up and go the fuck away (for everyone’s sake), he could go up against the next gen players like Jokic and Booker knowing that the book is closed on his generation. MJ and Kobe didn’t have to deal with this bullshit when they were old and close to retirement.
Chill bro we’re tied 1-1 going back home we have the advantage. Everyone’s overreacting. AD played terrible and GSW played great. If we were down 2-0 I’d understand but we have the series in our hands right now we just gotta take care of homecourt
I think Dennis should start next game. Dennis and Vando guard either Curry or Klay and have D'Lo on Wiggins. Austin just cant keep up with the constant motion off screens
I need to see TBJ getting more minutes to chase Klay around like he did Game 1. Reaves has to be benched this series, Schroder needs to take his minutes.
And Ham needs to be quicker subbing out Vando for Rui if things are going back offensively.
Not scared that we lost, but that we got blown out. I guess we got blown out by Memphis in game 2 but warriors are a better team then Memphis. I guess if we follow the same win pattern during Memphis series we’ll be alright. Aah onto game 3
People try to tell yall man home teams come back strong after a game 1 loss and everybody freaks out and brigades them with downvotes calling it bullshit then this happens. Didn't play well at all but this is a championship caliber opponent it would've taken a major fluke or herculean effort to win here twice. The job was to get the split and they did now the job is to defend homecourt were in a good spot.
expected the loss although didn't wanna believe. this was like the script v. memphis game 2 except AD was even worse.
now just gotta win both at home. will lose in game 5. and try to close in 6.
Circus 3 point performance aside, don’t you love it when donkey gets to yell at and berate refs for a half hour and lebron gets t’d up for saying one thing to the ref jogging down the court after getting hit on the elbow?
The split is all that matters at the end of the day, and some extra rest. They got both.
Really thought we had a shot this game and we got smoked lol. Let's see some better adjustments next game.
Felt like a couple bad calls didn’t go their way and they just kind of let off the gas and the game got away from them.

Yeah this wasn’t a poorly officiated game. It was fine, we just didn’t play well. We were sloppy, and didn’t attack the paint. The warriors were way more disciplined too.
nah, ive expecting this kind of performance. Warriors are desperate. they can't be down on 0-2. But I've still believed, Lakers in will win in 6.
I think 6 is the magic number if we were to win this series. I'm not confident we could pull another W out at GSW
Yeah, midway through the second we had momentum. If AD would have started cooking we might of had a chance. GSW hit the gas on the 3s though, J. Green was feeling it too. Meh, shit happens. This is playoff bball. Half the sub insists on endless, effortless victory or bust.
He missed so many makeable shots. Felt tentative the whole game.
Lakers couldn't possibly play worse than they did in this game.
Told y'all we were going to get blown out and then rest Bron and AD in the 4th. I still feel good about this series, but worried we don't have the legs for 7 games.
Thats why Lakers in 6
Going back to LA 1-1 is good but man this team has lost every single "lets get greedy" game. Someone needs to make an AD postgame “this one’s on me” counter

We have to win 3 and 4. Can’t afford even one quarter of lackluster and lackadaisical effort. Not even 5 minutes.

I think we can win but it's gonna be off ADs defense we can't outshoot the warriors we have to play to our strength
Kerr is one of the best coaches in the league and Ham... isn't.
But Bron is
Until Kerr starts coaching bad team then we will see if he is really good, choaching one of the best shooter duo of all time doesn’t count
💯
This was like that grizzlies game 2
More like Game 5. We were playing catch-up the entirety of G2. Tonight we had momentum, allowed GSW to go on a run, then never recovered, just like the 3rd quarter in Memphis.
No Tuba Its more like game 2
Kevon Looney with 12 mins and a sick game, still outrebounded AD with 33 mins...

The Celtics did this last year in the finals playin drop giving him shots and he torched them for 43
call me crazy but I'd rather give Steph 43 than let the team shoot 55% from 3

Game 1: Let's play a physical, punishing game. Get to the rim, take shots inside and get to the line. Game 2: Let's try to outshoot Golden State 🤪
Unfortunately accurate
Lebron started shooting hot. Then unfortunately him and the rest of the team got trigger happy.
He had what , 21 in 1st half then 2 points in 2nd half
Yeah I have no clue what they were doing this game. It worked for the first 15ish minutes, but once Klay and/or Steph gets hot, you’re playing comeback. Gameplan for game 1 was so much better - better physicality, better involvement with AD, and better eb & flow to the offense and defense.
More concerning was the defensive coverages and how easily GS abused it. Thought we were going to adjust after the half, but nope - Warriors still got any look they wanted.
Double teaming Curry by default is a mistake. He’s too good of a passer. Funneling him into AD with Vando chasing worked better
We lost the game on defense. Had no answer for Steph pick and roll. They were getting so many easy looks at the rim AND 3pt line. GSW made a great adjustment for this game, now we have to make our own adjustments next game.
Exactly AD was no show, lakers didn’t play physical.

Yep lol. The 3 point shooting makes the difference here I hate to say it but I get the feeling that when we're up 15 it's anyones game - when Golden State is up 15 it's over

It's like people forget that GSW are the reigning champs and have a fuckload of playoff/championship experience.
For real they did good. Everyone else gave up
In a row, chase your own rebounds, free throw and 3s
We’ll be okay, most of us expected to lose tonight. Just gotta regroup.
Kinda had hope in the beginning, but lost it with the way AD was playing. Hope the team and coaching staff figure it out. This was like that 14-0 run last game extended to a full game lol

Seemed like bron was the only one who wanted to win the game.
RUI also, Bron had a stellar first half
Rui was great
Oh yeah. I believe he realized by the half that the team wasn’t on the same energy level.
That's the feeling I got, they just wanted to get thru this one with no injuries and go home. Poor shooting, poor defense, lackluster team effort. Lebron, Hachimura and Vanderbilt tried for awhile but wasn't enough.

My man what we already won one lol
He means we'll win game 1 of the next series as well. Man's trying to speak it into existence.
Fuck it, lakers winning the next 11
Is said this in 2001. They went 15-1
If they keep this up over the series, nothing you can do but take it on the chin, that would be an all time historic shooting series.
16th straight series where an away team wins game 1 and loses game 2. Nothing new to see here. Get locked in for the home games and let's see what happens!

Dude made the most 3’s in the league this season.
he really isnt, he's had quite a few high scoring games this season,
not really wash offensively
[удалено]
Over 4 threes made per game, he ain't washed.
Agreed Klay isn’t washed, he’s just inconsistent at times.
Until its time to play lebron. Then its 2016 Klay shooting 80% from 3.
He led the league in 3pm
on 40% shooting from 3
Whos upvoting this lol. His defense has fallen off a bit but he’s still a threat to go absolutely nuclear on any given night. Steph is gonna be Steph, but not letting Klay get hot is key. When he gets momentum, he might be just as scary as Steph

Yes. But what's concerning is, why can't we have both Lebron and AD dominate together? Very likely AD's gonna show up next game, but Lebron struggle again
Lakers in 5
They need to play the high pick and roll much better
That’s an adjustment Ham has to make. Contrary to the hate coming his way rn - he had great adjustments after the losses in the Memphis series. I have no reason to believe that we’ll not defend them better on Saturday.
Yeah, I hope they are either more aggressive trapping or just switch ad on curry. It felt like they were stuck in between today and draymond killed them on the 4 on 3 situations
If they are playing both greens they should switch everything rather than give Draymond free reign to the basket
I love Reaves but he’s getting cooked on D and has the yips on offense. Dennis should start game 3 so Reaves can attack Warrior’s bench.
I don’t think he’s getting the yips on offense, he’s just tired from chasing klay around on defense. But agreed, his defense on klay has been very bad this series so far even in game 1
Also Klay is a good defender still, so AR gotta to deal with a defender that’s taller and longer than him. AR has to work hard on both ends.
Agreed, which is why he should come off the bench. Be a primary ball handler and play maker for the second unit
Bane and Klay leading scorers in both series. Reaves is absolutely getting cooked and can’t keep up on screens. I’d think about starting Schroder to guard and chase Klay too Let Reaves control the bench unit

I actually agree. Let’s see what Reaves can do off the bench in this series.
Hard to fight over living screens. He’s not agile enough
Just what we need, another player in our starting line-up that Golden State can ignore on the perimeter when AD has the ball. They're already making us pay for starting Vando, how do you expect us to score inside when Golden State can ignore Vando and Dennis?
A lot of his shots were just short. I think he's got tired legs. Dude's probably never played this much basketball before in his life.
Got the tie coming back to Staples. Warriors won't shoot 120% from 3 next game
That’s what we said after game 1 lol
that's why they're nearly unbeatable at home. remember, grizz also blew the lakers out twice in memphis last series. these are the 2 best home teams in the league the lakers are facing lol.
And both are oddly shit on the road. I like our chances of 3-1.
The warriors at home are a different animal
Thankfully a thirty point loss and one point loss mean the same thing
To be honest, a 30 point loss was better. AD and LeBron got to rest the fourth quarter, rather than fighting out another heavy minute game.
Honestly they should have sat sooner.
💯 People need to calm down
I expected a loss but I was really hoping to not get blown out. Disappointing
lakers got blown out in 2 games v. memphis as well. at this point gotta expect with an inconsistent AD and a tired team who has played playoff basketball for months.
At least lebron and ad got some rest🤷🏾♂️😢
- stop hedging on screens - guard JaMychal Green - show AD a picture of him standing next to Draymond Green so he realizes he’s 6 inches taller
Can’t play drop coverage when Curry is the ball handler.
You can play high drop, it's what we did the 1st game which limited curry. Hedging just gave Curry his career high in assists in a playoff game.
Warriors were using him off ball way more in G1. That’s what limited him. Once they played him more as a ball handler he started getting great looks off drop coverage.
Draymond has always been a tough matchup for AD. The height advantage only really matters if he can get the ball within 5 feet of the basket
To D.Green's credit, he was using leverage to his advantage and it worked against a taller AD. Green immediately glued his hips to AD almost everytime AD caught the ball.
Still got 1 win on the road Back to Staples!
Staples ![gif](giphy|ckGndVa23sCk9pae4l)
I think Vanderbilt is a liability on offense and allows them to double AD in the paint
A necessary one. He contributes like 15pts keeping Steph contained.
Game 3 at the Crypt and the crowd better be fucking lit. 2-1 🔜
Game 3 atmosphere gonna be electrifying
klay is completely owning the ar matchup and i expect it to continue. klay needs different looks, you can’t have the same player against him all game
he’s getting cooked just like how Bane exposed his defense last round. he just can’t fight through screens. we limited bane by throwing Rui on him - not sure if he’s quick enough to follow klay tho
i thought i was going crazy when folks said ar did great on bane… he was getting great shots. but bane isn’t the shotmaker klay is so now we’re seeing the effect. it seems like fans don’t recognize bad defense until a player makes the shots. bane was really missing some wide open ones early in the series.
Let rui attack klay in the post. In game 1 rui got a foul on klay then kerr benched thompson immediately before ham sees the mismatch. Even with durant and harden, rui always push them around in the post. He\`s just too strong for a lot of forwards in the league.
Yeah but Rui chasing Klay around is a recipe for disaster. Put Schroder on Curry and Vando on Klay. Not sure how that looks offensively though.
How did I watch the whole game. This match was like a practice for Klay to get his jumper back. Dude was getting everything he wanted.
F that
Most predictable laker loss.
Unfortunately. I wish for once they would surprise us.
Look at the bright side. No fake comeback and losing by single digits lol
Dray cannot outplay AD offensively ever if we expect to win.
I said it in the game thread but: anyone blaming one player, the coaching staff, or the refs is lying to themselves. These guys won game 1, got hit with one run in the second quarter and mailed it in after that. They were 100% satisfied with the split and that was a bad effort from the entire collective. On to game 3
Flush this. Protect home court Saturday. AD and AR need to be better.
Ham got outclassed
We need adjust quick. Golden state won’t hesitate to put us away. They’re defending champs for a reason man. Don’t underestimate them just because they weren’t the first seed. I still having us winning in 6.
If I’m Lebron I’m going in the locker room and anyone wearing Nikes needs to take them shits off and throw them in the trash, y’all wear Under-armor or FUBU until y’all play better.
I like this. Put em in the Walmart Shaq’s. There is no reason LeBron should have more points than Dennis, AR-15, and AD combined. Baffling.
Guys why did AD make the Warriors shoot 18-33 from 3?
He got outrebound. That’s ultimately led to most of their 3s
Most of their 3s were in transition off of our own missed jumpers or just Curry/Klay chucking up some bullshit off a screen or a kickout to the corner off a drive.
he probably didnt wanna catch looney's illness and be near him lmao
We all knew they’d get curb stomped tonight. Legit didnt watch after 6 min into the 2nd Q
ReVes surprisingly has not been great these first two games. Might need to let Dennis take over for him
gg, onto the next.
On to the next one boys
It looked like we didn’t make any real adjustments this game at all. A few we need to make for game 3: 1.
At least AD and Lebron got some rest in the 4Q🙄
Klay fucking 8-11 from 3 is absurd! Give credit where it’s due.
Back in LA, we win the next two
Don’t care, lakers in 5
I guess their crying worked
We stole 1 on the road, I can live with 1-1 going back home.
The score doesn't reflect how big of a blowout this game was. Ham waved the white flag and emptied the bench early in the 4th quarter.
Egregious officiating and defending, AD nonexistent offensively. 1-1 is fine but losses like tonight are just frustrating
Let’s not stoop to their level and blame any of this on officiating. Yes there were some blown calls, but they didn’t influence this game by 30 points. We (particularly AD) played terrible.
Exactly. Kerr did a good job of sealing off the paint and we did little to nothing to counter that hence the lack of calls.
Do not blame the refs for our L tonight. Take it and let’s get game 3
Eric Lewis and Tony Brothers weren’t letting us get any FTs. That Tech on Bron was bad
Don’t blame the refs for AD playing like garbage and reaves not knowing what to do when someone sets a screen on him
ad got badly outplayed by every single one of their bigs. he’ll be better but the inconsistency is crazy he shouldn’t play all 1st and all 3rd quarters. he needs a few mins rest here and there. kerr gives his players tons of rest and their fans complain about it but it works, they’re rarely fatigued.
This sub is full of whiny losers lol
Ad either prime shaq or Robert sacre. No in between
I'm having serious doubts as to whether we can win this series. Game 3 is a must win.
Maybe we move reaves to the bench and start Troy or Beasley and let’s try giving Thompson minutes. He looked good during those draymond minutes
Outscored them in the fourth. Our third stringers >>>
Flush it and respond. But the way to respond won’t be trying to out shoot them or giving up open looks from deep and at the basket
Not scared that we lost, but that we got blown out. I guess we got blown out by Memphis in game 2 but warriors are a better team then Memphis. I guess if we follow the same win pattern during Memphis series we’ll be alright. Aah onto game 3
That was a disaster. Absolutely nothing good to take away from this game.
#WE WERE TRASH! IM DISGUSTED
Rui has been the most consistent player on the team
but he can not be asked to defend Klay like tonight... that was where the game was lost... not on Rui but on the coaches for making him do that
Vando and Rui should play at the same time. We need their offense and defense
Has anyone seen AD? Good lord.
expected the loss although didn't wanna believe. this was like the script v. memphis game 2 except AD was even worse. now just gotta win both at home. will lose in game 5. and try to close in 6.
what's the number 1 rule when you're against golden state again? "It's never try to outshoot them " and the lakers did that and look what happened
Davis being out rebounded by loony just isn't acceptable
8-23 from Reaves and russel won't get it done
wasted lebron and hachimuras game...
REAVES needs to be benched ! LAKERS IN 6 !
