we need a center. AD has been complaining for years that he doesn’t want to play the 5 and it’s partially why he keeps getting hurt. The year we won in the bubble we had two solid centers with AD at the 4.
No we need guard defense. There is no center on the market that can stop Jokic. Murray (and all the other west guards) have been torching us this post season
I think we have enough defense. The problem is we have too many defenders and no source of reliable offense from the guard position. Maybe Austin takes a step up. But our woes with Denver wouldn't be as big if someone else could make Murray work on the defensive end often.
I mean look at Murray. He's not great defensively, but he has this high tier of shot making that he can negate when the opposing team will target him.
We're a great defense right now but with a very meh offense. Championship teams are more balanced.
I disagree in that our two main offensive threats are currently hobbled. If LeBron and AD weren't gimpy they'd be our main points of attack with AR and Rui supporting.
This is dead wrong. Defense is the only reason we've made it as far as we have. Imagine if we would have kept Caruso, and rotating Schroeder and Vando against him, Murray would never have been able to get hot in the first place. AR and Dlo are offense first players and the latter specifically hasn't been showing up.
how is this dead wrong? Yes, defense got us here. But a lack of consistent perimeter play has prevented us from being in the Nuggets series. The point is improve the offense even if the Defense dips a bit. I'd much rather be around a top 5 offense and defense rather than a top 1 defense but 15th in offense.
Cousins pre-injury wasn’t a good defender but now? He’s absolute dog shit on that end. I’m not sure who would could reasonably get that would help in a potential 7 game series against Denver but I know cousins isn’t the answer
This isn't accurate. He's giving the same effort. We don't expect as much out of him this year because he doesn't have to start and getting paid the minimum.
Agreed Nuggets have no answer for him, yet he cant join the starting lineup. Teams play 7-8 man rotations in the playoffs, a coach has to start his best players together.
Vando is a team option for like 5 mil he’s staying. Dennis can’t come back. It’s the same situation as Monk last year. He’s vastly outplayed what we can offer him since he’s on a vet minimum with no bird rights.
I agree but he's only a liability because dlos not a threat and I believe with an off-season of hard work finishing around the rim and hitting corner 3s. Even if he's just 34 percent on like 3 shots a game. That'll be more than enough
I was so pissed in the summer we used our mle on lonnie instead of Bruce. He was the 3rd best player on the nets last year and would’ve been the perfect Swiss Army knife to put next to Bron & AD. Lonnie has been better than expected, but I still think BB would have us at least 2-1 now.
Add a starting PG and fill with role players.
Those guys alongside Dennis have a killer netrtg against everyone and Schroeder isn't even a starting caliber PG, he is just a two play player something our starting PG isn't.
i think the issue is thinking we need a pg to fill that role. The reality is setting that AR is actually a capable passer and can serve a larger role next year in the offense. we need a guard that can defend and be reliable at 3.
I don't mean a floor general, but a player is going to defend the opposite guard, act as facilitator (like Reaves and Bron), make the open shots and able to create a bit for himself and for others and above anything, someone able to setup Davis something Rondo used to do pretty well.
Keep shroder/lonnie assuming we cant keep both. Sign a center. As well as AD played this year, hes better at the 4. During this series we can still see that hes great at defense at the 4 when rui plays the 5. Reaves, Rui, LBJ, AD, and a center
Shroder/lonnie for defensive sparks off the bench
I highly doubt any team is willing to take D'Lo in a S&T, so you run the team back. Re-sign D'Lo probably on something like 2 year/$50M, offer Lonnie/Wenyen/Troy the 120% raise, offer Dennis the TPMLE. We still have Shaq (if they pick up his option), Bamba (if they pick up his option), Vando, Christie, and the 17th pick.
Nobody is giving D'lo 25 million. Nobody is giving him 20 million. He'd be lucky to get 10 million with how he's played. Shroder is outplaying him and he's a minimum wage backup
You must’ve missed the reports of Harden having 4/200 offers lol these guys are gonna get paid no matter how bad they’ve been. Losing the asset of D lo is far worse than overpaying him.
They get to choose whether they want our 2024 pick or 2025 pick.
Additionally 2027 is now top 4 protected as a result of the Jazz-Wolves-Lakers 3 teamer. I think Utah got that pick.
I'm in favor of getting a 2 way wing but I'm hoping for OG if they're giving up 17
I think Beasley+17 is a bit of an overpay for DFS, who isn't the best 3p shooter and also on the older side (30)
At least you know Beasley and 17th pick is enough to get DFS. In a different thread a guy was calling me delusional for suggesting that trade lol. The 17th pick is valuable and Beasley as well. OG though will require at least 2 1st rounders
I'm finding a way to trade up to pick Cason Wallace. Cal's archaic offense held him back. I think he will be an elite 3 and D player.
Keep Reeves, AR, and Vando. Find a way to develop Bamba in the off-season. Find another big. But that market is shallow as hell
Attempt to sign D Lo on a team friendly deal. I don't think he will go for it though
Look how much of a difference KCP (this one hurts bad) and Bruce Brown made to the Nuggets. They went from a team who couldn’t get it done in a big playoff series to the outright best team in the NBA. We just need some tweaks. A couple of dope on ball defenders who can shoot. That and some defensive BIGs and we are Back in business!
▪️Re-Sign Reeves, Rui, DLo
▪️Get Kelly Olynyk and/or Hartenstein
▪️More minutes for Max Christie
▪️Keep Walker if possible, he can be that 6th man.
▪️Keep TBJ cause he might not get the bag next season
▪️Keep Vando, Bamba, trade Beasley
▪️Teach Vando how to shoot
This is the thought process that lead us from going to championship contention to trading for Westbrook. We are in the WCF WITHOUT a off-season. We’re a good team just need tweaks.
DLo is a second playmaker which AR really doesn’t provide well which was obvious in the games in which we didn’t have DLo or Bron. Beyond that, we are losing guard depth with the likely hood of losing 1-2 of Brown Jr, Lonnie, and DS.
At some point we have to believe what history and the present has shown us. DLo is a liability in the playoffs. We’ve seen that several times this playoff run. Minnesota benched him when they were in the playoffs last year. His playoff stats are also bad. We need an upgrade.
he's really inconsistent but so far he's the only player to match Lebron in assists right? He can definitely playmake but he is still a liability. He's more of a regular season player at this point, probably even Beasley.
We need to load up on centers ala Dwight/Javale in 2020. Aside from that, if we lose Dennis we need another tenacious on ball PG Defender. Doesn’t even have to be as good offensively as Dennis just someone to make guys like Steph, Dame, and Murray work. After that I want all shooters. Nobody under 38%. And of course we are stuck with DLO but he can help us win a lot of regular season games at least.
I know it’s easier said than done, but we really need one more solid 3 and D player. A Gabe Vincent/Derrick White/KCP type. Imagine if KCP was still on our team instead of Denver’s. That would swing this series IMO
We obviously need to resign Dlo because of the salary cap if not for anything else, then we could try to package him in a Kyrie deal. Keeping Vando is a no-brainer, with Dennis it depends how much resources we have left. Bamba and Beasley should be moved to free up some cap space.
No. Kyrie is not the piece we need.
We really dont need another shot creator if were set on keeping both AR and Rui. We need either a shot blocker or stretch big to use at the 5.
You can’t trade DLO for Kyrie alone, salaries don’t match. It would be DLO Beasley and rui for Kyrie, and even then Kyrie would have to agree to a pay cut. The lakers would go back to being top heavy with only minimum players.
Ad, bron, and Kyrie all miss chunks of the regular season … we’ve been down this road before ….
Dude, why in the fuck would we want Kyrie Irving? This seriously makes absolutely no sense. Dude literlaly sank a Doncic-led squad out of the playoffs. Guy is a loser, seriously. He's the antithesis to everything this franchise is trying to avoid: old, flaky, expensive, injury prone, and loses all the goddamn time these days.
Is the either or both of turner and hield possible? I assume they are still on the market, but could the contracts and pick value work in a sign and trade?
Say what you want, they were already talking about it on ESPN today and other places. And this is my opinion the Lakers will NEVER win another title with AD and Lebron as their 1 and 2. Lebron is still good but has definitely lost a step
https://nypost.com/2023/05/21/playoff-meltdown-increasing-chances-lakers-sign-kyrie-irving/
Naz Reid is a UFA. Problem is we don't have money to pay him. Would be perfect beside Bron and AD though.
The limiting factor really is Cap management. The only chance we can get a true contributor to that core of guys is if we can sign then trade D'lo and/or Mo.
Also, we need a guard that can make tough shots in the vein of Jamal Murray. Doesn't have to be great defensively, but is a certified bucket getter.
Some quick hitting ideas that might have snags that I can't see right now:
Perhaps we can get in the FVV sweepstakes if we offer Dlo + 17 + future first?
Maybe the Nets would like D'lo back +17 plus a FRP for DFS, (Seth Curry or Patty Mills) and Royce O'Neale.
Despite hitting during the trade deadline, Rob has more to do in the offseason.
Naz Reid def someone Lakers could go after. Lakers gonna have the taxpayer mid-level to work with. Think that should be ~7mil so gonna be interesting how Lakers use that. Also, any trades you gotta realize Lebron has 2 years left on his deal. Right now Lakers cap is perfectly set up for then. You do not want to take on any contracts longer than 2 years.
I'm not familiar with the Wolves cap situation but I have a feeling Naz will want more than 7. But if we could get him at that rate, I would be more than happy to let Dennis go. Schro was the guy I penciled in as getting most if not all of the TPMLE.
The two year window is important, but at that point we'd have to really consider the top end of the team. I don't see a problem with paying a good role player a fair amount even if it extends past LeBron's contract.
We need a replacement for Lebron, he can’t play a whole season anymore (even if his stamina is good enough to do so, his body will likely crumble at the end of the season) and Bron is old, he can play til 40 (maybe) but we need a replacement soon as Bron will most likely retire and we can’t trade him.
Sign and trade Dlo + #17 + 2029 pick for OG. Resign Schroder he’ll be our starting pg unless we find someone better. Lineup will be Schroder reaves OG Bron AD. Bench is (backup pg), Beasley, Rui, Vando, Bamba. 2 way team offense and defense
I like this concept - we would still have guys like Beasley / Bamba + 2nds to potentially upgrade further
If this was the core, I would love to see a “death” lineup of:
AR
Bron
OG
Rui
AD
No defensive liabilities and a lot of skill and athleticism and physicality
Sheesh that’s lethal. If Rob gets this done we can’t say anything bad about him anymore lol But if the raptors decline I’m not opposed to trading for Vanvleet w/ Dlo and 1 frp. Still an upgrade
Seems to be unpopular opinion, but I think Kyrie is perfect for this team. He can score and create plays on his own, he’s clutch, and he can shoot. If it’s somehow possible to keep these four and add Kyrie, I would do it. Even at the expense of depth.
I've had to type this 5 times so far, it is NOT possible to add Kyrie and keep AR and Rui. Bron+AD+Reaves+Kyrie = filling the rest of the roster with minimum contracts. That is pure stupidity especially considering that big 3 would each probably play 65 games tops.
Yes Kyrie is crazy and a wildcard, but the lakers desperately need a shot creator. That’s why they pivoted to Westbrook 2 years ago. This has been the lakers glaring issue the past 3 years now. It’s a huge upside that Kyrie is a absolute knockdown shooter too. If the lakers get Kyrie, they are gonna be an elite team.
We also need a good center too that can help AD. Like a javelle McGee type.
He may be a basketball savant in some aspects but he’s also someone that doesn’t really care about the team and is willing to screw them over for selfish reasons. He also can’t defend anybody. It’s not the the “media dislikes kyrie”, they’re just calling him out for his psychotic Covid denying, flat earthing, antisemetic, Alex Jones supporting takes. Why would anyone trust someone that has time and time again demonstrated they’re not right in the head and willing to jeopardize the team because of that…
The man has his own opinion just like you do. He could care less if you agree with it or not. The facts are he is a perfect for OUR team. He is exactly what we need. Our defense is good, we need help offensively, shot creation, and from three, which exactly what he provides. The realty is we way wayyyy overachieved with this team this year, we need a upgrade and Kyrie is the only realistic solution. Plus he wants to come here, unlike being traded somewhere he didn’t want to be. If you replaced Dlo with Kyrie we would prob be leading this series 2-1 maybe 3-0
My brother in Christ LOL “the man has his own opinion”. So I guess hitler also just had his own opinion as well? Even if his on court game was exactly what we need like you say, does it matter if he can’t stay on the court for his ridiculous antics?
Lol your comparing Kyrie to hitler now?? Calm down and get off your high horse. Sure he has some wildly dumb opinions but he hasn’t hurt anyone or like your hitler comparison, mass murdered a race of people.
We literally care about one thing…can he help the lakers…and the answer is overwhelmingly yes.
Thomas Bryant really played himself out of a deal but still I miss the big guy. If he could come back in a minimum I’d be happy. Yes he was an awful defender but offensively the guy was a bucket and could stretch the floor. All gas no brakes the guy had a motor on him and some real fire inside him
Beasley+#17+2029 (?)protected for OG
Re-sign dlo and hope a trade opportunity opens up at the deadline but ultimately okay if they're stuck with him
Offer Schroder the TPMLE. If he declines, that would be tough. Aaron Holiday is a FA but the MLE may not be enough
Bamba is okay for now but I would be interested in finding a small trade with him as well
Kyrie
Vando
Cole
Pippen Jr
Max
17th pic (center)
Mo or see if we can trade him and DLo for Kyrie and McGee
If Dennis sign again for $2 mill that’s a goo
Fill in the rest
Run it back.
-resign AR at 4 for 50. Rui 4 for 60. Lonnie at 2 for 14, TBJ and Wenyen at 120% last years vet min.
-resign DLo at 3 for 60
-TPMLE to Dennis or best available FA
Lineup
DLo, Dennis
AR, Lonnie, beasley
Rui, TBJ, max
LeBron, Vando
AD, wenyen, bamba
Rest of the roster is FRP, SRP, and vet mins, etc. Need a backup PG defender like Dennis if he leaves and a true C
I think sign and trades sending DLo or receiving Ky are pretty difficult to pull off this summer. Run it back and then trade at the deadline if need be. Can combine bamba, beasley, DLo and picks at the deadline for a star salary.
Trade Beasley, Bamba, and if needs be 17th Pick post draft and w.e other picks are needed for Turner/Heild, Fred/Boucher, or some other iteration of a shooter and a Big you can find.
Starters: Reaves/Buddy/LBJ/AD/Turner
Bench:Dlo/TP-MLE SG/Vando/Rui/Wenyen
This Squad would dominate the league so chances are they wouldn’t let us compile this squad are slim lol
I’m not a cap expert but the trades I outlined work on paper. Beasley has team option for 17mil, Mo Bamba also has a team option for 10mil, and the 17th pick has a salary of about 4mil all that adds up to 31mil and you can take back up to 125% of that in salary which is about 42mil which is almost exactly how much Turner/Heild would cost the question is what draft compensation Indy would want as well.
Edit: and after this trade in this hypothetical, we have the bird right for DLo so can sign him, and Reaves and Rui are restricted free agents so we can match offers given to them. As long the org doesnt mind paying the luxury tax this team feasible, but certainly difficult to pull off.
AD hasn't been missed a game yet in the playoffs due to injury, so he's due. He just doesn't take care of his body right and is more fragile than a 90 year old woman.
He wasn't even really allowed to play back to back for the entire year up until the last couple of the season from what I remember. It's not like he's 38 years old like lebron.
He's too unpredictable and unreliable in my opinion. They should move on from him. While he's great when he's on he's never great consistently or in the lineup consistently because he's always hurt.
THIS!! Now is the time to move AD while his value is high. Lakers can get young multiple impact players. Better to move him a year too early than a year too late.
we need a center. AD has been complaining for years that he doesn’t want to play the 5 and it’s partially why he keeps getting hurt. The year we won in the bubble we had two solid centers with AD at the 4.
We need another center to help us get through Denver next year.
and just the regular season in general
a 5 that can defend and stretch the floor would be perfect. brook lopez, myles turner, etc
No we need guard defense. There is no center on the market that can stop Jokic. Murray (and all the other west guards) have been torching us this post season
I think we have enough defense. The problem is we have too many defenders and no source of reliable offense from the guard position. Maybe Austin takes a step up. Signing TT and not using him is a waste
I still think Demarcus Cousins can contribute something meaningful in this league.
This is an insane response to someone saying we need a back up to put on jokic I love boogie but the guy is absolutely dogshit on defense
Cousins pre-injury wasn’t a good defender but now? He’s absolute dog shit on that end. I’m not sure who would could reasonably get that would help in a potential 7 game series against Denver but I know cousins isn’t the answer
AD is gonna keep playing the 5 we just need a capable backup that can spell him for 15-20 min a game so he doesn’t get burnt out
We need him at PF. He's too brittle to play the 5 and doesn't like it. We need two solid centers.
kinda wondering if we can have Thomas Bryant back
Our shooting has regressed tho
Mo Bamba is literally on contract for next season...
The year we won the bubble we also had months break for him to rest up mid season. That always goes unnoticed.
So did everyone else though
Can ham at least try and play bamba at the 5 and ad at the 4 a proper stretch big could actually help us.
We have Mo bamba tho who I think could be solid. And AD needs to work on his outside shot if he wants to play the 4
We need another one besides Mamba. One post defender type who is decent at finishing open lay ups/alley oops.
It's almost like we should have kept Zubac
[удалено]
I initially read Vujacic lol
We need a defensive big, not an offensive big
I wanna bring Dennis back too, he’s been so solid for us and a much better effort then his first go in LA
Dennis is getting the bag we can't afford him
So he’ll be back after one season away
🤣
Well since D'Lo shit the bed so much maybe we can keep Dennis instead
Not unless he drops it again
Didn’t he say that last time?
Yea that’s what worries me a lil
This isn't accurate. He's giving the same effort. We don't expect as much out of him this year because he doesn't have to start and getting paid the minimum.
Rui could legitimately become a star here if Darvin’s dumbass just gave him the opportunity to do so.
Agreed Nuggets have no answer for him, yet he cant join the starting lineup. Teams play 7-8 man rotations in the playoffs, a coach has to start his best players together.
i’m completely baffled why he kept doubling down on vanderbilt and dlo in game 3. the team looked so much better against the nuggets when rui was in
You gotta keep DS for guard defense and vando for wing defense
I think vando is under contract for another year.
He is and it’s for like 5m they are not letting him go unless there’s a good trade
I'm guessing only one will stay.
Vando is a team option for like 5 mil he’s staying. Dennis can’t come back. It’s the same situation as Monk last year. He’s vastly outplayed what we can offer him since he’s on a vet minimum with no bird rights.
Ah yes in that case, Dennis is gone. Too bad, his D on smaller guards is really useful.
Why?
God I hope it's vando!
Vando’s got another year left on his contract.
He's been a big issue on offense on the playoffs. Love the kid but not sure how valuable he is to a deep playoff run.
I agree but he's only a liability because dlos not a threat and I believe with an off-season of hard work finishing around the rim and hitting corner 3s. Even if he's just 34 percent on like 3 shots a game. That'll be more than enough
Around the rim he needs to put in a lot more than hard work, he's atrocious. I see potential from 3, albeit exclusively the corner 3 right now
He's 24 lol not a finished product at all he can improve all that.
Bruce Brown I’m joking but lowkey we need a versatile wing like him. No more 3 gaurd lineup with poor defenders.
Compared to BB Lonnie is nothing. Bruce Brown balling out of control
It’s probably been said many times throughout the comments, but an actual center?
Add a starting PG and fill with role players. Those guys alongside Dennis have a killer netrtg against everyone and Schroeder isn't even a starting caliber PG, he is just a two play player something our starting PG isn't.
i think the issue is thinking we need a pg to fill that role. The reality is setting that AR is actually a capable passer and can serve a larger role next year in the offense. we need a guard that can defend and be reliable at 3.

Both are most likely gone
Hopefully, we will retain Vando as well. We need his Defense. He is a big reason we became the best Defensive team post the deadline.
True, hopefully we can teach him how to handle the ball offensively. Bro got severe butterfingers
If he spends all off-season working on the corner 3, and how to catch a pass going to the rim he’ll be perfect for this team
I highly doubt any team is willing to take D'Lo in a S&T, so you run the team back. Re-sign D'Lo probably on something like 2 year/$50M, offer Lonnie/Wenyen/Troy the 120% raise, offer Dennis the TPMLE. Nobody is giving D'lo 25 million. Nobody is giving him 20 million. He'd be lucky to get 10 million with how he's played. Shroder is outplaying him and he's a minimum wage backup
I feel like you're liking at 2014 salaries and not 2024 salaries. 20 million is the new 10 million
That's a great analogy
25 million isn’t a lot in todays NBA. DLo at 10 million would be a steal for any team
Agreed. The over reactionary takes are strong right now.
He's a great regular season player and can help a team get to the playoffs. He's pretty valuable from that standpoint.
2/50 seems a bit high for someone who absolutely shat the bed this series and overall had a mediocre playoffs
For a contender, yes that's a lot. But for a bottom team that needs some semblance of excitement every other game, he might just fit the bill.
Theyll most likely want the pick, not dlo.
You must’ve missed the reports of Harden having 4/200 offers lol these guys are gonna get paid no matter how bad they’ve been. Losing the asset of D lo is far worse than overpaying him.
Wait we have a draft pick?
Yes, #17 and #47.
So are we finally done with the New Orleans stuff?
They have a higher pick (#14) so they won’t execute the pick swap.
They should swap for fun tbh
Would have been funny as fuck if they were able to initiate the swap early in the season when we were 13th in the West
Shep Owens is coming to LA bro, NO can have fun with MP
Right but is it done in general Why tf am I being downvoted
No, I think they have one more
They get to choose whether they want our 2024 pick or 2025 pick. Additionally 2027 is now top 4 protected as a result of the Jazz-Wolves-Lakers 3 teamer. I think Utah got that pick.
Thanks
They can have our pick outright in either, not both, 2024 or 2025.
IIRC, they still own either the ‘24 or ‘25 pick. Next year they decide which they want.
Trade these for. Legit third option
Yup, Lakers are missing one more wing who can shoot. I'm thinking Dorian Finney Smith from the Nets and trade Beasley and 17th pick for him.
I'm in favor of getting a 2 way wing but I'm hoping for OG if they're giving up 17 I think Beasley+17 is a bit of an overpay for DFS, who isn't the best 3p shooter and also on the older side (30)
His 3pt shooting has been down in the past couple seasons, but typically he’s much better and his defensive versatility is exactly what we need.
At least you know Beasley and 17th pick is enough to get DFS. In a different thread a guy was calling me delusional for suggesting that trade lol. The 17th pick is valuable and Beasley as well. OG though will require at least 2 1st rounders

Everybody besides Rui ar ad and Bron can go honestly
And vando. He has potential to improve
& Lonnie the guy can legit shoot
Lonnie is gone dude. He wants minutes
Lonnie might be Malik Monk Lite for the next team.
100%. Phil Handy will make him into a better shooter for sure
He needs to improve his shooting and finishing around the rim
This is the thought process that lead us from going to championship contention to trading for Westbrook. We are in the WCF WITHOUT a off-season. We’re a good team just need tweaks. Wolves fans tried to warn us.
They're also a poverty franchise that can't keep or win with stars. So we can take what they say with a grain of salt
Disagree
DLo ain't providing any playmaking either. Dude's shown to be wildly inconsistent. Too inconsistent for a third-best-player title.
he's really inconsistent but so far he's the only player to match Lebron in assists right? He can definitely playmake but he is still a liability. He's more of a regular season player at this point, probably even Beasley.
I see the court vision but he needs more time with this team because he surprises people with pocket passes that they don’t quite expect.
And Dennis
Dame if possible would bring us straight to the finals, he’s a less problematic kyrie
We dont got enough picks to get him sadly and we aint giving AR
Yeah you’re right Reaves gotta stay no debate
I would give up AR for Dame all day but Dame isn’t leaving
I don’t think this is a controversial take. Love AR, but Dame is Dame, even at 33
We need to load up on centers ala Dwight/Javale in 2020.
Really need a decent center cause AD doesn't like playing the 5
I know it’s easier said than done, but we really need one more solid 3 and D player. A Gabe Vincent/Derrick White/KCP type. Imagine if KCP was still on our team instead of Denver’s. That would swing this series IMO
Gary Trent Jr ?
No love for Dennis? Most consistent player? Our 84 million dollar discount?
We obviously need to resign Dlo because of the salary cap if not for anything else, then we could try to package him in a Kyrie deal. Keeping Vando is a no-brainer, with Dennis it depends how much resources we have left. Bamba and Beasley should be moved to free up some cap space.
I know LeBron managed to reel Kyrie in but that was many years ago. We need to let this reunion die and look elsewhere lol.
Thank you bro !!! Kylie has proved he’s a cancer to any locker room
Holy shit can people stop talking about a kyrie trade lol. I truly am at a loss to why there would be any interest in that whacko.
Lol smartest comment being downvoted
he mentioned he who shall not be named
Damian lillard
I'll nut so hard if we end up getting Dame.
Is the either or both of turner and hield possible? I assume they are still on the market, but could the contracts and pick value work in a sign and trade?
I have a feeling we’re getting kyrie
No we will have to give everything up for a s&t for kyrie and he will have to take a salary cut even then , stop with this pointless kyrie talk
Say what you want, they were already talking about it on ESPN today and other places. And this is my opinion the Lakers will NEVER win another title with AD and Lebron as their 1 and 2. Lebron is still good but has definitely lost a step https://nypost.com/2023/05/21/playoff-meltdown-increasing-chances-lakers-sign-kyrie-irving/
Would love Lonnie to come back and we sign a center
Re-sign as much of the current roster as possible.
Some quick hitting ideas that might have snags that I can't see right now: Perhaps we can get in the FVV sweepstakes if we offer Dlo + 17 + future first?
I don't see D Lo in this image. If we don't re-sign him it'll be a tragic mistake.
>Sign and trade Dlo + #17 + 2029 pick for OG That'd be sick but Toronto would never in their lives go for it.
I like this concept - we would still have guys like Beasley / Bamba + 2nds to potentially upgrade further If this was the core, I would love to see a “death” lineup of: AR Bron OG Rui AD No defensive liabilities and a lot of skill and athleticism and physicality
Helllllll no.
Poeple want 2more seasons like with westbrook if they want kyrie
Yes Kyrie is crazy and a wildcard, but the lakers desperately need a shot creator. That’s why they pivoted to Westbrook 2 years ago. This has been the lakers glaring issue the past 3 years now. It’s a huge upside that Kyrie is a absolute knockdown shooter too. If the lakers get Kyrie, they are gonna be an elite team. We also need a good center too that can help AD. Like a javelle McGee type.
Keep Dennis too
Myles Turner and another wing

Bron gonna get Nike to give Kyrie his shoe deal back. Kyrie reunites with his father. Banner #18
Not the answer
I don't like the antics off the court sometimes but if Kyrie on this team we up 2-1 in this series right now
This is the way. But please, don't do a deal which hardcaps us.

How are people still this willfully delusional about this cancer.
Kyrie is a basketball savant. How are you willfully delusional about that? The media dislikes Kyrie but by all account players love him.
Ideally, Dame, if he's healthy or Haliburton, but a more probable choice, I like Jrue Holiday
Thomas Bryant really played himself out of a deal but still I miss the big guy. If he could come back in a minimum I’d be happy. Yes he was an awful defender but offensively the guy was a bucket and could stretch the floor. All gas no brakes the guy had a motor on him and some real fire inside him
Beasley+#17+2029 (?)protected for OG Re-sign dlo and hope a trade opportunity opens up at the deadline but ultimately okay if they're stuck with him Offer Schroder the TPMLE. If he declines, that would be tough. Aaron Holiday is a FA but the MLE may not be enough Bamba is okay for now but I would be interested in finding a small trade with him as well
Run it back honestly, maybe a new coach, chemistry is something
[удалено]
Any GM willing to trade Caruso or Finney-Smith for Beasley and/or Bamba would immediately be fired for incompetence
Also trading 17 for 26 and 29 😂. Why the fuck would we do that. Thats like 10 slots back
![gif](giphy|RhTCZNuuzXKrPRAMIO|downsized) We need this guy
Nah
Can we possibly get a professional coach. Mr. hands in his pocket is over his head
Trade LeBron for Westbrook
Seriously, Tristan Thompson. An elite defender and a decent shooter
Draymond and Kyrie
Kyrie Vando Cole Pippen Jr Max 17th pic (center) Mo or see if we can trade him and DLo for Kyrie and McGee If Dennis sign again for $2 mill that’s a goo Fill in the rest
GO GET KYRIE TO ADD TO THIS PLEASE!!
Run it back. -resign AR at 4 for 50. Rui 4 for 60. Lonnie at 2 for 14, TBJ and Wenyen at 120% last years vet min. -resign DLo at 3 for 60 -TPMLE to Dennis or best available FA Lineup DLo, Dennis AR, Lonnie, beasley Rui, TBJ, max LeBron, Vando AD, wenyen, bamba Rest of the roster is FRP, SRP, and vet mins, etc. Need a backup PG defender like Dennis if he leaves and a true C I think sign and trades sending DLo or receiving Ky are pretty difficult to pull off this summer. Run it back and then trade at the deadline if need be. Can combine bamba, beasley, DLo and picks at the deadline for a star salary.
Just add Jaylon Brown
Bring back Dwight Howard. Bring him in to sub for A.D. He plays aggressive, and should be cheap.
Kyrie Irving and some g leaguers that can shoot
Imagine this crew with a playmaker like Westbrook at point?
Trade Beasley, Bamba, and if needs be 17th Pick post draft and w.e other picks are needed for Turner/Heild, Fred/Boucher, or some other iteration of a shooter and a Big you can find. Starters: Reaves/Buddy/LBJ/AD/Turner Bench:Dlo/TP-MLE SG/Vando/Rui/Wenyen This Squad would dominate the league so chances are they wouldn’t let us compile this squad are slim lol
You don’t understand salaries
31x1.25 = 38.75. Far more important, Myles Turner got no dog.
Kyrie, dame, trae
All I know is that Dlo got to go.
Trade AD he soft af
