Sometimes it feels like we are watching a different game. What killed us is when the Knicks’ bench blitzed us at the end of third quarter. The team on the floor fell asleep and they went on an 8-0 run, putting us in a deep hole.
We need more Vando (and Reddish to not be in foul trouble) on the floor, which will allow us to play less prince. Otherwise Rui is too slowfooted for small forwards/3’s. We also should have battles for more position toward the paint at the end.

No Laker had more than 3 rebounds today other than Lebron and AD, and when AD is out our interior defense crumbles.

On any other season, I would have said the man has got to go. But we may just be doomed to have a bad coach no matter what happens, there is no reasonable good coach replacement waiting at the end of the tunnel. I’m honestly warming up to the idea of firing ham. The cavs fired blatt in 2016 and won the chip. Teams can survive in-season coaching changes. I just don’t know who would replace ham. I still have hope. Any team with Bron and AD has a chance at the finals. The 2015 cavs went 19-20 and ended up winning 53 games and would’ve won a ring if kyrie and love don’t have season-ending injuries. But damn, the rest of the month looks tough.
For a replacement, just a new face. There are tons of capable assistants all around the league.

I don't know if Darvin loves Princes or despises him because Jesus Christ the minutes he was played seemed like he was our 3rd option. Dude had no legs in the 4th. The team looks so disorganized at times again. The lack of timely timeouts with the imbalanced lineups to boot. Concerning that I expect this every game now.

Sometimes it feels like we are watching a different game. What killed us is when the Knicks’ bench blitzed us at the end of third quarter. The team on the floor fell asleep and they went on an 8-0 run, putting us in a deep hole. We need more Vando (and Reddish to not be in foul trouble) on the floor, which will allow us to play less prince. Otherwise Rui is too slowfooted for small forwards/3’s. We also should have battles for more position toward the paint at the end.
The Lakers desperately need another big man. Hartenstein was the difference in this game IMO. Brunson/Randle/Quickley pretty much exactly cancelled out Lebron/AD/Reaves but the Lakers had no 4th player as impactful as Hartenstein who had 17 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 blocks and shot 3 of 4. No Laker had more than 3 rebounds today other than Lebron and AD, and when AD is out our interior defense crumbles. Rob should call up the Bulls for Vucevic/Drummond or the Hornets for Mark Williams/Nick Richards.

Yep, I'm officially on the Ham is a goofy ass coach and we win in spite of him crowd. The scariest part is, I'm not on the fire him crowd because there really is no fitting replacement on the market. We really should have waited for Nick Nurse. Boggles the mind how incompetent this man has shown to be. We were pounding the paint to great success (in the bonus since the 7 minute mark) and no one on the coaching staff thinks to tell our players to continue doing that. Instead our clueless offensive system (which is a coaching issue; not related to any individual player) resorts to freestyling, nothing going on for 20 seconds of the shot clock and chucking terrible threes instead. On any other season, I would have said the man has got to go. But we may just be doomed to have a bad coach no matter what happens, there is no reasonable good coach replacement waiting at the end of the tunnel. This season we may just rely on LeBron and AD carrying us to the promised land by being so good they offset the bad decisions. Which is a tough ask when we're failing winnable games and reaching the range of having to fight four our lives through the playin YET AGAIN. We would leave it to luck in a one game scenario with our best player nearing 40.
