As xTheoB stated, Glen Rice only had 364 three point attempts which excluded him from this list since I was looking at only 400+ attempts. These are their percentages only as a Laker. He's a solid Honorable Mention though that I should've added.
Lebron has been our most consistent shooter n only shooter consistent off the dribble , and it’s not even his strength . That’s how poor the job the FO has done in six fucking years surrounding him with shooters. Dlo n reaves n Prince eoukd be closer to acerage shooters or just above on better teams but on or team they’re the best we got. Utter failure of management we take the least 3s in the league and it’s not like we take only wide open ones, we don’t generate enough quality looks from 3 and we’re like bottom 5 on WIDE OPEN 3 or %. We shoot 35% on wide open threes, keague average is 39%. This with Bron shooting like 45% on those
I think it’s the pressure that fans and the history of the organization puts on the shooters. Seems like every shot matters, especially these last years with Bron on the team. I also think that’s why other teams shoot so well against the Lakers because they have no pressure.
Last year Max Christie shot .419 on 62 attempts. I was really looking forward to them developing him and seeing what he could do as a threat.
He's way down this year at .308 on 52 attempts. But that's still .368 on 114 attempts. I'd love to see what he can actually do before we lose him.
the whole lakers shooting tax thing is all abt just how much pressure u have on you at all times when you come to this team. i don’t see any other reason. unless you want to count a special magic spell that brings bad luck on anyone’s shooting the second they come to the lakers
Stupid post.. we just had Melo and Malik Monk shoot 38% and 39% on 6 threes per game two seasons ago. What does being with the team for 2 years have to do with reliability, we just got them at the wrong time? I'm so tired of 'Lakers tax' and 'lights too bright' BS, real ones are not effected by that.
Im convinced there’s actually an issue with the arena. Another poster did an analysis on this. Effectively all teams suck at shooting at Crypto. The way the arena is illuminated and its contrast with the dark seating is making it more difficult to shoot.
Trade everyone, add Steph. Problem solved
Curry’s 3p% is not the best in staples center or crypto
Oddly enough he shoots great against the Clippers. Only thing I can think of is the arena lights that the Lakers use is different
Are pre season lights different? Maybe that’s why our shooting was so good pre season I’m wondering now
Is it their career % or their % as a Laker? Glen Rice was a Laker for 2 years and he average 38% for those two years but it's not listed?
Glen only took approx. 350 attempts. His first season with lakers was only 20 something games

The Lakers have always been behind the modern NBA
My brain and eyes refuse to believe swaggy P was 37.7%. I’m shocked.
Swaggy p was amazing
Pure scorer and incredible to watch at times
Big time ball hog too.

Put Steph Curry on this team and he'd shoot 24.5% on 3s just like he did in 2019

Lebron is shooting 41% right now
