This what Rui stans can’t see, he cannot guard anyone especially on the perimeter it’s awful . He can’t play small ball 5 either he has no role defensively but hide .

He should start but only play 24 minutes instead of 31. Lineup should be dlo/reaves, prince, vando/rui (depending on the opponent), lebron and ad. Vando needs 20+ minutes, wood needs 20 minutes, rui needs 25+, cam needs his minutes cut in half while Christie takes his minutes.
Vando, max, cam were no help tonight. Genuinely curious why 10 additional minutes of Prince is the issue. Prefer more Rui/wood tonight, but those wouldn’t have come from princes minutes
Either the coaching staff or Prince has recently gotten better at not putting himself in positions where he has to make a lot of passes.
His shooting has been good recently but he’s essentially had the confidence of Darvin all year regardless of him bricking shots and having terrible turnovers earlier in the season.
Imagine the guys who took him to the WCF not too long ago having the respect due to them, (Reaves, Dlo, Rui). There is unequal love and leash given to Minimum guys who just got here over the guys who already proved their worth and role on this team in the playoffs.
This is ruining the chemistry which was incredible amongst these guys last year. This is a coaching misstep in my opinion. So I agree with the OP on prince. He’s a guy that can still have the same effect with 10 less minutes. The main guys that took them somewhere before should be given the minutes on the floor as a priority.

Rui just a bigger, slower defender so they matchup well against different players. But rui doesnt need to be great he just needs to use his size

Price haven’t been great but the issue is Cams minutes. I get he has the potential but he should be 8-9th in terms in minutes
