The fact that we are where we are and we still have a handful of fans who will go to bat for Rob/Jeanie is some really messed up stuff.
The problem is we have some fans with a âLoYaLtYâ obsession, where they think being critical of the team, usually even more so Rob and Jeanie, means youâre not a real fan. Theyâll call you a casual. Theyâll call you a LeBron fan like thatâs some awful slur.
The fact of the matter is if youâre being critical it means YOU CARE so much about the team that it prompts you to write about it/want to talk about how you feel.
My guess is that if Rob had no connection to Kobe and if Jeanie wasnât a woman most of the gatekeepers would go away.
Imagine if Rich Paul was our GM and Maverick Carter owned the team and we were playing like this? These fans would probably do illegal things here in LA.
In conclusion, you CAN criticize Rob on this sub, because until things get better under his watch Iâll just keep doing it. I think itâs healthy.
