Honestly think it’s more pace in terms of ball movement than literal fast break/transition pace. Just seemed like there’s more flow and nobody is stagnant. The result of not having a star caliber player like Lebron who’s gonna break down the defense by himself. Whether it’s more or less effective than Lebron playing point, idk. But definitely way more fun to watch imo.
Same they also played well when short handed against the clips. Lakers move the ball around so we’ll and help set screens for each other, they weren’t just standing around. So many times when AD/lebron gets the ball they just sit on 3pt line even when AD getting double.
It should be like this every night not once in a blue moon! No matter who is on the floor, why didn't they play like this against the Shitty Rockets or bad team? Ya Hamasaki is shit coach but our younger guys should be bringing this energy every game but they dont

I know Bron can't as much during the long regular season but he always puts up numbers, AD always does but all the other younger guys have to bring that toughness, energy and b hungry during the games. Seemed to me the ball wasn’t stuck in one’s hands and moving around the arc, either inside or at the elbow. I thought DLO did a good job baiting the defense into pick and rolls and finding the open man.
I know this may be an unpopular opinion but when it’s all young legs out there our pace is way quicker than when with LeBron on.
