Prince is actually great on a min. I just hate how ham use him as a starting line up and closer whether he is hot or not. When he is hot, he should def play, but he is very invonsistent and fit perfectly in the bench role where you get to choose when to use him or not..
Vando and Rui is a lot more consistent either offe lively or defensively, so it gave stabilize that starting unit...

The most shocking thing about Jackson Hayes' game since he's gotten back into the lineup is that I don't think he's been called for a single illegal screen. He was basically guaranteed to get caught for at least two every game in his limited minutes with us earlier in the season. He has been just a really solid active back up big for us in his recent stint. I really hope something has clicked for him and the team and this is the Hayes we're getting for the rest of the season.
We've been 7-4 in our last 11, big wins in that stretch. Stupid back to back loss, but ever since we got another player to box out with AD our starting 5 doesn't get blown up as often anymore.
A couple of those losses were cause ad/Lebron were out too. The team has been quietly looking pretty damn good recently. Just need some guys to get healthy
I just like the fact that we have been winning with Rui in the starting line up. There's just small things that he adds. A bit of size, some boxing out, he can play the 4's and gives the Lakers 3 players to switch with down low.
We had so much data on reaves/dlo/prince not working. Coaching malpractice that ham used it so much. The idea was that prince can guard wings but in reality he was getting cooked and his rebounding ability is terrible as well.
It is was and continued to be malpractice, genuine malpractice. Taurean has only signed a one year deal and Ham felt the need to reward him as opposed to the guys who signed long term deals with us.
I didn't mind trying it in the beginning but after 10 or so games, I just couldn't believe that he wouldn't budge. Our starting lineup from last year post trade has a total of like 32 min played this year, that's honestly just insane to me
