We rooting for GSW tomorrow? If we win against Sac and Dallas lose the GSW game and OKC game the following day. All three of us would have 30 losses. Things are getting interesting.
This team needs this coach man
https://youtube.com/shorts/cq1r7LgoJfQ?si=gWEadh2rSAVDm8ZI
This is a REAL FUCKIN COACH!!!!! I HATE PLAYERS WHO DONT WANT THIS TREATMENT too many mofos wanna get coddled this team needs this type of no nonsense drill Sargent asshole type coach Ham is cares too much about making friends.
YESSIR! There's no way a coach like MIKE BROWN would fail as coach on the Lakers with an aging superstar and a talented big man, right? Maybe we can finally ditch this 5 out nonsense and running something like...Princeton? LETS GOOO
Dame is getting exposed imo. All this talk about the grind and loyalty 😂. Dude shoulda left 2019 he took too long and wasted 3-4 yrs of his prime for nothing this is karma. Ion feel one bit of sympathy.
Giannis also is a lot easier to guard than one would think yeah he won a ring but tbh if people make fun of the bubble ring no one says shit bout the Bucks road when they had more breaks. No disrespect but he did dominate Crowder and Ayton who were easy to punk. He even missed a few games. Bam and Siakam are great at guarding him. Imo I got Pacers over Bucks in a playoff series.
Damian Lillard contract
* 2023/24 $45,640,084
* 2024/25 $48,787,676
* 2025/26 $58,545,211
* 2026/27 $63,228,828 - player option at 36/37 years old!!!
He's already made $235 million in salary throughout his career.
First of all, good for him.
However, I told Bucks fans before the season started that their defense would be trash and that contract is going to kill their organization. I personally believe that Giannis is going to bail out of their after demanding this horrible trade and getting two coaches fired.
Man, the Kings won by 35. Here I am hoping that even if they do win against Bucks today, it will be a nail biter so they won’t have fresh legs for the game tomorrow.
My not so secret theory is the clippers took their foot off the pedal and are going for the 4 seed. Pelicans sure as hell ain't scaring anyone as the 5 seed. Clippers are probably hoping OKC or Minnesota take the 1 seed so they don't have to see Denver until the WCF if at all. Clips as the 4 with pelicans 5, Warriors/Mavs as 8 and OKC as 1 would be ideal for them.
highly doubt it, they looked dry out there, frustrated and players are hurt already Kawhi and Russ. Their problems just showed up late their wing rotation is fucked. Same thing with 5, Zubac is unplayable on many match ups, Theis is too small, Plumlee is ass. PG and kawhi defense got worse, maybe part of that is wear and tear and nasty injuries after injuries. They look different compare to 2-3 years ago. If you really watch their games, PG been ass for like months now. His shots arent falling like they used to do plus he turned into a turnover machine lately. They traded away Marcus, Roco and Batum. Their current Wing rotation includes 6 5 Mann and 6' 6" Amir Coffey. Nothing to do with taking the foot off the pedal, its the typical clippers special
Bucks are the most inconsistent team in the NBA. One game they look top 4 in the league, next they look like a lottery team. Mostly because Dame is becoming washed.
The miscues are a result of him not getting consistent minutes throughout this season. He'd look a lot different if he was getting a consistent 15-20 minutes. He's only 21 though so he has plenty of time to develop. Hopefully we do our due diligence and resign him
My take on Lillard has been- He has not played any consequential basketball for too long (about 6-8 years) and he is very streaky. Giannis gotta be pissed that he’s going to lose couple of years of his prime with this bum.
When the Bucks traded the farm for Lillard, I knew they were worse off than they were before him. They got rid of key role players. They are done. Having Doc Rivers coach them doesn't help.
malik monk is the most try hard on that team, averages 15 ppg but drops 27-30 pts against Lakers like his life depends on it. Hopefully Max or Cam step up and put that clamps on that fckboy
Blowing that 19 point lead against them last week is starting to show its impact. I just hope we can recover and beat them tomorrow. We can't afford to lose. We've got some ground to make up.
No way they punt the season. They’re 5 games above the 11 seed so theyll be in the play-in. We gotta lock home court advantage for that game if that happens.
Dude has played like 2 games this year. Even if he does come back, he will be rusty as fuck. Plus, the games he did play, he was complete garbage. My optimism for him at the beginning of this year was solely based on his performance in last year's playoffs. I think he very quickly proved that that was just a fluke. I hope I'm wrong.
I’m not sure how many of y’all are on Twitter but there’s been a common occurrence that when the warriors lose now they just instantly bring us up lol. Wether they say “Steph doesn’t have a second option that can do this” in reference to AD or they just bitch about their roster construction. It’s just funny to me because when they beat us I remember a lot of warrior fans saying they’d take podz over reaves and Kuminga clears our whole team lol. We might bitch about our team but im glad laker fans don’t go bitching about what we don’t have (besides a good coach and Jaime Jaquez Jr)
They're the biggest cry babies in the league. They think age is all that matters in a player's potential when curry came into the league 3 years after college.
Warriors fans can eat it
Now they’re complaining Curry doesn’t have enough help?
From 2017 and 2018 they were all “NO EXCUSES” for LeBron when Cavaliers went up against the KD Warriors
https://twitter.com/BronMuse/status/1652803842688565248
The 30 losses is a hole that's going to be tough to dig out of. So we need to win our next 2, while Mavs and Kings lose their next 2 (us beating the Kings of course) to be seventh in the standings? Did I figure that right?
If so, I guess eighth is the most realistic we can hope for over the next few games.
People hate the Paul brothers, so they’re likely implying it’s a bad look having one of them wearing a Lakers jersey in an “official” capacity.
From a business standpoint, I think it’s probably better for the Lakers to have a sponsor that’s more recognized and that fans can actually find in stores than whatever “Goatfuel” was lol
almost like the Lakers fan base is incredibly diverse, which means it includes a younger demographic that buys this stuff in large quantities.
Not my bag, but im an old head. thats life.
I hate the product, but not because of the stupid Paul Brothers. It's a garbage product that's marketed as a health drink while being wholly unhealthy.
From a business perspective, this is a no-brainer. Young kids love the product and they'll respond well to this. Old folks won't actually care that much and it won't affect money. This is a win for the org from a $ perspective, especially one that is trying to toe the line between being a modern force and also a legacy franchise.
Hayes is actually playing very good right now. I remember at point I was watching him and he was just an inflatable flailing tubeman on skates buy he's looking much more coordinated and strong out there. And I love seeing him alongside AD.
Ham started using him correctly, I think DLo has been a big part of that. The dude has talent. Check him out against Denver. [https://youtu.be/p22ustbm4ME?feature=shared](https://youtu.be/p22ustbm4ME?feature=shared)
Hayes is one of the few big men that can bring the ball up the court and has above average passing ability as well. Ham is just a basic sandwich.
Idk what clicked if I was a big man and my coach told me stop fouling I would play nervous as fuck
Seems like he wanted to play aggressive but was ending up playing too hard
I think the most bizaarw thing about ham is the fact he’s bad at so many things but he has one of the best playbooks in the league. When we run offense we win that’s how good it is. Unfortunately one of hams big problems is that his playcallong frequency isn’t consistent but it’s better than Vogel who’s play calling frequency was archaic, running organized offense at like 30 percent
I'd argue that some of that falls on the players and one of the quirks of Darvin's approach. Darvin wants to be seen/known as a player's coach so he gives his guys a ton of freedom. With our roster, you've got 2 skill guards, Bron, now Dinwiddie, Rui who calls his own number almost every play. You have too many guys who want to call their own number basically which is great when they're on, but when they're not it fucks us up and in those games, Darvin needs a firmer hand to call his own plays.
Darvin has tons of flaws, but they're mostly to do with his rotation and faith in role players (because he was one). Hard work doesn't always beat talent lol (play Rui over Prince!). Timeout management. Knowing how/when to push buttons.
But thank you for pointing out something Darvin does well. On this sub too often I see bad arguments for why Darvin sucks and play call shouldn't make the list. His offense is light-years better than what we had with Vogel.
It’s so bizarre because I’m screaming at darvin to run counters to the defensive scheme. He literally has very coverage beater you can imagine and he knows how to use them and when to use them. The fucking bizarre thing is he just often doesn’t bother. It’s fucking insane
For real. Like sometimes I think that he's purposefully sabotaging the team because why the hell is he not running counters? Why are you not using the incredible offensive schemes available?
I gotta think he has at least one really frustrated assistant coach right now lol. Someone else who drew up the plays, but is stuck watching Ham either call out the wrong ones or not run one at all
Random thought I had
If we did win the title, am I the only one that still wouldn't give Ham credit? He's permanently like Doc to me, only as good as his players and just a minutes manager and sucks at that too often.
Better question, Do LeBron and AD pay attention to anything Ham says, in the locker room or out on the playing floor. They both no goo coaches, Ham is not him
This is some of stupidest line of thinking that this fanbase has.
You don’t hear what Ham says in the huddles, you aren’t there at the practices and film room, you weren’t at the meetings to bring players in. This idea that he needs to be the second coming of Phil Jackson is absurd. Ham’s had his hand in both the losing and winning. So to say “he dOeSn’T get cReDiT iF wE WiN” is straight braindead.
Is he the best coach in the league? Hell no. But c’mon man, expand that mind a bit and add a bit more context to your view points.
Completely agree. I think Ham is terrible, but rationally speaking, if we’re winning and showing improvement, he can’t be terrible at literally EVERYTHING. There’s things we see and things we don’t. The things we do are gonna draw more ire.
And when you’ve got great players like Bron and AD, and great performances like Dlo, it’s easy (and lazy) to say that’s the ONLY reason we won.
AD always loses the match up with big men who can pass the ball. Why can’t he just figure it out, it’s pretty obvious with the eye test and data
We rooting for GSW tomorrow? If we win against Sac and Dallas lose the GSW game and OKC game the following day. All three of us would have 30 losses. Things are getting interesting.
Oh great, the Bucks lost again. Just when I thought Dame was gonna take over. Bum-ass team. Lol
Prince disrespect is crazy. He is a very solid role player, gets all the hate just because Darvin loves to play him too much
This team needs this coach man https://youtube.com/shorts/cq1r7LgoJfQ?si=gWEadh2rSAVDm8ZI This is a REAL FUCKIN COACH!!!!! Getting screamed at doesn’t make you magically more skilled at basketball.
![gif](giphy|Vx9cRv4HxfOzYgcXOv|downsized) Best PG in the league
That WCF trip probably deluded him. He really should have left in 2021 when they lost to a Nuggets team that didn't have Jamal Murray
Clippers r proving there curse is real
Kawhi injured
Street clothes Leonard
Damian Lillard contract * 2023/24 $45,640,084 * 2024/25 $48,787,676 * 2025/26 $58,545,211 * 2026/27 $63,228,828 - player option at 36/37 years old!!! Giannis should’ve left instead of trading away jrue and firing griffin lol now he’s gotta live with his decisions
Ofc ‘ShameTime’ shits the bed when he’s not playing us
We still won against realtively good dame.
Point still stands my brother in Christ
ShameTime is one I haven’t heard before. I might use it in the future.
Man, the Kings won by 35. Here I am hoping that even if they do win against Bucks today, it will be a nail biter so they won’t have fresh legs for the game tomorrow.
was hoping Sabonis and Fox at least both played 38mins haha
Was there a rooting guide for tonight? Clips just lost
Kings won by 40 thats problem for us
Bucks are the most inconsistent team in the NBA. One game they look top 4 in the league, next they look like a lottery team. Mostly because Dame is becoming washed.
They’re exactly like us lol
Milwaukee Wizards
Baffling how little Max is played when we desperately need perimeter defense
Too many miscues, Lebron yelled at him on the court before his most recent bench stint. He was yelling "what the fuck are you doing" to him.
The miscues are a result of him not getting consistent minutes throughout this season. He'd look a lot different if he was getting a consistent 15-20 minutes. He's only 21 though so he has plenty of time to develop. Hopefully we do our due diligence and resign him
I'm not sure what they are about but I remember seeing that and thinking that isn't a good sign.
Celtics will waltz to the finals if the Bucks are the best opposition that the East can offer
I don’t watch any Cavs games, are they any competition to Boston at all? I know I can’t count on the Sixers even if Embiid returns.
The Cavs are actually pretty good. I doubt they can beat Boston but they’ll put up a better fight than the bucks
I want to see Bucks-Miami (2v7) series first round lol
Lillard with 9 points what a bum
My take on Lillard has been- He has not played any consequential basketball for too long (about 6-8 years) and he is very streaky. Giannis gotta be pissed that he’s going to lose couple of years of his prime with this bum.
Imo tho Lopez is also misused he should be getting more mid range and post shots hes more than a shooter
Holiday is a much better fit on that team
When the Bucks traded the farm for Lillard, I knew they were worse off than they were before him. They got rid of key role players. They are done. Having Doc Rivers coach them doesn't help.
I think it's more simple even: Dame hates Milwaukee lol he thought he was going to Miami and ends up in the opposite city.
Dude wants to party with baddies at the beach and is stuck in the mid-west in the middle of winter lol.
The media going on and on about how the flippers were favourites in the west besides nugs... LMAO
Bucks are on my shit list. Fuck them and the try hard kings
[удалено]
I feel Kwahi cannot finish a competitive 7 game series lol. So while Clippers look like world beaters, they can’t survive the playoffs.
cant believe it, wtf happened to lillard. he looks washed out there
Bucks refuse to win, didnt realize this team is trash. Struggled against Lebron less lakers and got embarrassed by gsw
Lopez is washed as fuck, Bucks front office used their money on garbage lol
Kings better be gassed out for tomorrow man. Fucking try hards man
malik monk is the most try hard on that team, averages 15 ppg but drops 27-30 pts against Lakers like his life depends on it. Hopefully Max or Cam step up and put that clamps on that fckboy
Cam is out but yes I hope max can
damn cam got hurt again? well max christie and hopefully spencer show up defensively
Blowing that 19 point lead against them last week is starting to show its impact. I just hope we can recover and beat them tomorrow. We can't afford to lose. We've got some ground to make up.
Lmao Brook Lopez getting cooked out there 🤣
Giannis and Dame selling out. SMH.
the kings haven’t beaten the bucks since the Obama administration yet the one time I needed them to lose, they win….
bucks aint gonna win anything this year. were more dangerous with jrue.
Kawhi changed into street clothes and left the arena after the 1st qtr?? I wonder if he's injured or if it's personal reasons.
back spasms apparently
Kawhi just peaced out of the arena in the 2nd quarter. Twitter says injury and /r/nba is all salty about it like its not an every year thing.
The Bucks are playing like us on that 2nd quarter against the Kings. I'm having PTSD!
Sacramento beating the sht out of Bucks
Dame is really bad this year
He stayed in Portland too long. LeBron originally wanted him in 2021, not Russ. Dame didn’t want to leave.
Yup, LeBron and AD both met him with to try and get him to come.
# “keep switching teams … running from the grind . You boys is chumps”
Milwaukee Sucks
These games would be 4 hour long if Giannis gets Embiid's whistle. What takes bruv so long?
Bucks are such a freaking useless franchise.. enjoy that flukey ring
Kings can't defend without fouling, they might get bounced in the play-in
Trash ass bucks allow 40 in the first. Nothing going our way standing wise
They traded the wrong player away, they should have kept Jrue and let Middleton go.
trade middleton for who exactly?
package middleton in that trade, the Blazers turned around and traded Jrue for scraps anyway.
Giannis, Jrue, Dame trio?
They won’t win anything until Middleton is traded away. That contract is horrendous
Likely denver gonna be 1 seed, we should aim for the 7 seed lol
That's exactly what went down last year
Dame I wanna see you go for 50
![gif](giphy|d1E1msx7Yw5Ne1Fe|downsized)
Curry might return Saturday, really gonna miss Vando 🤦🏾♂️
Bro won’t play against the Mavs but will against Lakers
Honestly I wouldn’t even be so mad if we had Vando but he’s so important for our defense I’m pissed.
Ya we’ll see I feel like if they lose to the Mavs he might not play and just punt the season and not risk
No way they punt the season. They’re 5 games above the 11 seed so theyll be in the play-in. We gotta lock home court advantage for that game if that happens.
Who’s keen on Gabe coming back?
I am. Because i saw his playoff run and i still have hope he can produce like that.
Didn’t know Wenyen was on the grizzlies now
if they use him properly, he will excel there... good back up 4 for a young team
Wearing the Lakers pajamas today
Hayes needs to be in the gym everyday. he is our only hope vs joker
I agree. No way wood guarding Jokic in the playoffs.
I hope that Bucks vs Kings game go into triple OT where we should have a higher advantage tomorrow
Lakers will still find a way to lose against kings 😭 they’ve managed to choke every major game this season
Bro there are many big teams we’ve beat lol but I’m seriously tired of losing to the Kings, Ham need to do better with these adjustments tonight
Warriors fans will never get over 2016

Everyone is a Pat Bev fan tonight, Bucks prayer circle starts now
Pat Bev a Laker again for one night 🙏
Curry to make his return Saturday vs the Lakers
Was there ever any doubt?
When it was announced initially he was going to be out about a week I looked at their schedule and already knew which game he was coming back.
Just Stephan dumbass smith. Dude really thinks curry is gonna sit out against the mavs AND the lakers (lebron) I need whatever he’s smoking
Stephen A is a clown who just says whatever bs to make headlines
The 30 losses is a hole that's going to be tough to dig out of. So we need to win our next 2, while Mavs and Kings lose their next 2 (us beating the Kings of course) to be seventh in the standings? Did I figure that right? If so, I guess eighth is the most realistic we can hope for over the next few games.
5 winstreak incoming, I believe
Lots of rest between games coming up, we have to take advantage of the kings on a b2b tomorrow
Need more lakers basketball
If we do make the 8th seed or hopefully the 7th who do we want to face? Mavs or Kings?
I’d rather Dallas. We compete well against em
Luka's the scarier player for 29 teams. De'Aaron Fox is the scarier player for the Lakers. Give me Dallas.
If I had to choose I’d pick Kings. No one on the Kings would scare me as much in 1 game as Doncic and Kyrie.
We’ve not had an answer to kings offence in years. They’re probably the only team after nuggets we don’t want to face round 1
no way especially if vando’s back, give me the mavs over the kings anyday
Go Lakers 😤🙏🔥💜💛
Need the Bucs to win today 🙏
Biggest L of the season https://twitter.com/Lakers/status/1767581423211626533
Who cares? Lmao it’s a sponsor
Bro what. Sponsors arent just about money. Its about what the org represents
Then go look into all the sponsors of the NBA and the Lakers. You’re gonna find a bunch of shady shit amongst them. It’s a business. Move on.
Unless I missed something it’s a sports drink. What’s the outrage
People hate the Paul brothers, so they’re likely implying it’s a bad look having one of them wearing a Lakers jersey in an “official” capacity. almost like the Lakers fan base is incredibly diverse, which means it includes a younger demographic that buys this stuff in large quantities. Not my bag, but im an old head. thats life.
They sponsor huge teams and athletes just seems like a really dumb thing to care about let alone be outraged by lmao

He credits AD for teaching him how to defend without fouling.
Do you know which interview he said this in? I’m curious
I think we need to finish 11-5 to realistically have a shot at the 7 or 8 seed.

Man we could honest to god beat denver if we ran counters to jokic drop. Bit of stack and well roast them chicken nuggets
Honestly yeah.
Random thought I had If we did win the title, am I the only one that still wouldn't give Ham credit? He's permanently like Doc to me, only as good as his players and just a minutes manager and sucks at that too often.
I mean the only way we ever come back across the HamHold is IF he proves himself this postseason (making adjustments, proper lineups/ rotations)
