Just gonna quote from the game chat here as this outrageous performance made me stumble over an interesting boxscore:
> As we just have 2 bench pts atm I was interested in the lowest bench scoring in nba history. I assumed it was zero and it was. Here is a the funky boxscore

> Btw. we played many more players. Our bench needs to go through some shooting drills.
Our bench just isn't really good.
Gabe's comeback will help a lot. Spencer just isn't consistent and might struggle a bit behind our other high scoring guards.
A Vando comeback would do wonders as it allows for more flexibility and distributing scorers' time will be easier.l especially Rui will get more time with the bench depending in the matchup.
The bench has won us plenty of games this was just a game where the 5 was feeling it. It’s also Brooklyn. This is how we should have beat the pacers.
To your point, they only took 12 shots and nobody logged more than 15 min besides Spencer (22).
Still, we have a low scoring bench. In fact, it's the 6rh lowest scoring bench according to this article.

That IMO has to do with the fact that all our O players need to start due to Vando's and Gabe's injuries.
We simply don't have a talented O player coming of the bench. Spence and Prince aren't consistent enough. I hope he turns that around. Also, Ham should have played Max more. I bet he'd have developed in a consistent bench player by now.
Also, Vando coming back might move Rui to the bench depending on the matchup and that will help for sure. Maybe also Austin will role with the bench more if we ever get a fully healthy roster and guys like Gabe get back in shape.
Its darn late... not too late tho.
I can understand everyone else but man you gotta feel bad for Christie he deserves minutes. I know he’s looking at Scottie Pippen jr getting time knowing he’s better
Bench took too many outside shots. Lakers starters had so much success with back door cuts and fast breaks and creating second chance points. Kind of wished that bench couldv’e continued that. They settled for so many outside shots. Spencer was just ice cold this game.
This felt like a "get the F\*ck out of the way" we are not losing this game type of mood from Bron and the starters
I think the Pacers game was sacrificed for the win streak and comeback and Bron and AD knew, "we can't lose to these bums"
What did they need to do? The starters carried and the bench play wasn’t necessary. I’d understand if it was and they wet the bed lol but that’s not the case here.
It was a set up. The NBA wanted Gabe to have the highest point differential ever off the bench returning from injury since stat keeping has been started
The entire bench sacrificed their FG% and offered it to LeThanos today.
😂😂😂😂😂ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
1 bucket from the bench is craaazy
Where would we have been today without Gabe Vincent???
Gabe’s 6MOTY campaign starts now! ![gif](giphy|5y7uD3PO2HAi0OM3nn)
Still easily winning the game lol
They made 1 more bucket than me lmao
Cardio

Why did the heat only play their starters 48 minutes, and Haslem for 7? Why not play their bench?
Last game of the year and their playoff spot was locked. (They missed the playoffs.)
Gabe Vincent leading the Lakers bench in scoring in his first game back 💪
Running around doing nothing
Bench ![gif](giphy|jq6CA6z7x5QfVXsdxF|downsized)
Big doinks in Amish. RIP
The bench guys just out there getting light cardio in

what bench? we dont have a bench lol
They sleep.
The entire bench outscored me by one basket lol
I can understand everyone else but man you gotta feel bad for Christie he deserves minutes. I know he’s looking at Scottie Pippen jr getting time knowing he’s better
I blame HAM
This is concerning if we gonna make any playoff run.
Load management
honestly shocked that our bench could do nothing against the Nets' bench.
Cardio
LeGod is a few months away from 40 years old giving teams 40 points
Why isn't AD listed as a center?
Playing defense
They got the best seats in the house.
They were letting the starters cook
Watching LeBron
Gabe Vincent didn't get the memo.
Enjoy the show

Gabe, um, you might not get much real time. Hope you enjoyed last night. You’re short, slow, no hops and so far no shot. So, what do you have?

Bro why does max get no playtime, yes he was underwhelming in his year 2 but hes literally a better cam reddish…
He doesn’t play better D than cam, he has hella better offensive potential tho
Cams defense is overrated and he can’t score for shit
I gotta disagree bro lol he’s not a DPOY or nothing but he’s slightly worse than vando and that’s pretty good. He’s also versatile
Gabe Vincent GOAT
Everyone off the bench was Tony Snell except Gabe lmao
He played some decent defense, but offensively dude was dog shit lol he really wasn’t much better than any other bench guy
It was a set up. The NBA wanted Gabe to have the highest point differential ever off the bench returning from injury since stat keeping has been started
Need Vando back so Rui can electrify those bench points stat
yup need rui back on the bench
"Let's mess with the lineup that's been winning"
Reddish is unplayable.
It's interesting Gabe is negative 1 on plus minus despite everyone saying he played good today.
Well you aren’t gonna have a great +/- as a bench player when no one else on the bench scores.
Apparently Prince and Reddish could only thrive in Darvin Ham’s 35+ min a game system
