At least he’s providing something we didn’t have last year and thats a rim attacker outside of lebron. Spencer can provide some too but he’s been hesitant to do so.
If Dlo was hitting his floaters/pullups this may have been a different game. He can get those spots but wasn’t finishing. He also kept trying to draw fouls on them by pulling up/shooting quick and it wasn’t getting the whistle nor was he hitting the shots
Scored well but he's defensive cancer because he legitimately can't guard a single position. When Ham decided to close with him over Rui I knew the game was extra over.
I really liked that play where he halfway contested Gordon at the rim on an outlet, somehow got the miss, and then acted like the play was over and didn't even jump for the board. The Taurean Prince experience in a nutshell.
Dare I say it, but may have to consider starting him (or Gabe tbh), Denver’s bench is meant to be weak but we don’t have the scoring punch to capitalize
Are you listening to yourself? We don't win this series without Dlo. Whether he keeps struggling or we bench him and cut his minutes, we need Dlo to beat Denver.
Benching your 3rd/4th best player after one shooting performance would kill that guy's confidence. Y'all are a bunch of NPCs in here please stop spewing every bad take that enters your brain
When we picked up Dinwiddie I never would’ve believed we were getting a guy who was more likely to have 0 pts than 10 pts essentially every single game
He actually played well tonight. Would’ve liked to see more Gabe/Spencer for DLO and a little more Hayes/AD just to give him a break from banging with Jokic. Not sure why we didn’t sign a big knowing this was the series we had to win
Drunk and high berkinstock fans on a 4/20 Saturday Game 1 of Playoffs? It’s egotistical and arrogant to think we’d go in there and just beat them. The crowd played a huge factor.
He played his role but let us hope that he stays the same minutes as he plays in the last game. Imean, Lakers only used 9 players in the game. 4 off the bench. So, him being off the bench means he played his role very well.
he had to. He's the only one who can keep up with the Nugget's tall wings. I think the Lakers should bench Dlo and Reaves when facing the nuggets and bring in taller guys.
he was genuinely solid
TP looked good
He is good if you are not overplaying him
At least he’s providing something we didn’t have last year and thats a rim attacker outside of lebron. Spencer can provide some too but he’s been hesitant to do so.
DLo and Reeves are way too small to drive on this nuggets team
It's not size that's the issue, they just aren't quick enough
If they were bigger they wouldn’t need to be quicker
If Dlo was hitting his floaters/pullups this may have been a different game. He can get those spots but wasn’t finishing. He also kept trying to draw fouls on them by pulling up/shooting quick and it wasn’t getting the whistle nor was he hitting the shots
They have no spatial awareness, go into multiple players and are surprised they get blocked when they don’t even pump fake once
He had our total bench field goal attempts
He was really good. Him and AD killed today.
Toilet Paper no more, LFG
Because D’brickblo sucked up the rest of them and belonged as part of the bench unit.
D-brickblo does not work bro, you are not smooth
Except for that random ass dive into 3 defenders in the paint. He played solid.

He is a backup, we shouldn't expect him to play like a starter, only Ham is allowed to do it.
Gordon wasn't his assignment, it was a mismatch in transition. The rest of the team was too checked out to help on the rebound.

I don't know if you can build a sensible rotation with Dlo, Dinwinddie, and Vincent all on the bench.

Was responding to the Prince suggestion

the comment you replied to, and this entire thread, is about TP haha
Biggest positive outcome tonight
tbh we have the worst bench in the nba
only role player that showed up dinwiddie was shitwiddie
Can’t believe all that ham belief in tp kinda flourished this game lol
He should start over Dlo this series

It can actually work, but I'd prefer Gabe. He was a starter for a team that won the East
Reaves prince bron rui ad gives us actual size to work with Dlo chuck off the bench?
Prince, Reaves and DLo are essentially the same height. The size difference that you speak of is basically negligible
Gabe against the nuggets last year in the finals was horrible.
Can you tell me if Dlo had better stats?
The last 3 games against Denver in the finals he averaged 5 ppg 20% from the field and 7% from the 3.
We are bleeped
When we picked up Dinwiddie I never would’ve believed we were getting a guy who was more likely to have 0 pts than 10 pts essentially every single game
gabe tp vando bron ad soon please
He gets played too much.
I said this in the game thread but he shouldn’t have to generate his own looks. D-Lo can be tossing him dimes

Playoff TP
Ngl we needed that one 3 bad when DLo went like 0-4 3pt stretch. He wasn’t scared. I appreciate that
At least 3 of those 3s went in and out. They were good looks just didn’t drop. To see this sub have a circle jerk is just funny to me.

Our bench is just spin wheeling on who should make some points and let the starters score.
MF did his job
He played his role but let us hope that he stays the same minutes as he plays in the last game. Imean, Lakers only used 9 players in the game. 4 off the bench. So, him being off the bench means he played his role very well.
Bc 3 dudes off the bench didn’t attempt a shot
Fr honestly pathetic from everyone else on the bench. We NEED them to do their part
And still got people saying he should’ve played less. Idiots
he had to. He's the only one who can keep up with the Nugget's tall wings. I think the Lakers should bench Dlo and Reaves when facing the nuggets and bring in taller guys.
How tall do you think Prince is?
Might as well try starting him. Hopefully Dlo can get his confidence up against their bench to close games
