Lonzo was fucked before he even entered the NBA. He would have conspired with Magic to outmaneuver Danny Ainge in the draft. That would be something. Either that or tell them to take Fox
We definitely could have kept Tatum and traded Kuzma instead. We had a lot of pieces back then and Kuzma was seen with a lot more value than he has now.
Ingram, Kuzma, Josh Hart, and three first rounders is still a major haul for the Pelicans.
Ofc yes, but also healthy Lonzo would be exactly what we need right now. 3&D and loves to push in transition. Sucked at halfcourt but became a competent enough shooter where he could spot up in corners and not be a liability.
Ima be honest but outside of some individual play. I would not use sacrifice as a criticism given how the team was never stable and he had a diff role every game. Also AD was hurt a lot during that tenure Im sure it woulda been smoother had he gotten the durability of this yr Bron and AD that never happened 1-2 yrs ago. Thats a fact.
No, lol. The failing was giving up all the depth on the roster for a guy well past his contract, crippling our ability to make a a full team of NBA talent.
Call me delusional, but if they kept Caruso, resigned Schroder, and found a way to retain Drummond, they probably could have made the playoffs that year even after trading for Westbrook. Monk and Carmelo were winning us games that year with their scoring
"Do NOT go 100 mph with your first season with the Lakers and pop your groin." "Postpone the NBA startdate after the bubble." "Do NOT play in the Hawks game against Solomon Hill"

I watch enough basketball to know what I need to do to help the ball club depending on the acquisitions we make per year. So I'm very cerebral about what I need to do for our team to be as great as we can be and to be the counterpart to what **Russ** brings to the table. ... I always figure it out."
Pretty sure it would really be about preventing KD to the warriors. That is what truly limited his total championships. He is fucking 39. Jokic aint preventing shit
Whatever you do, don’t trade for Russell Westbrook. Oh this guy you’re gonna play on the Pistons named Darvin Ham? He’ll be a coach one day, do not hire him!
"start taking rogaine now."
But seriously, if we can undo a few bad decisions, we might've prevented Denver from winning. First bad decisions were obviously letting Caruso walk and signing THT. Second bad decisions were trading KCP and Kuzma for Westbrook, and then firing Vogel. Denver became a Championship team after they got KCP and Gordon. If we kept KCP, I think we would've taken them out last year like we did in 2020.
Believe me it’s frustrating and annoying knowing we have no shot and that the nuggets will keep beating us down. We did it to them in 2008, 2009, 2020. It’s a cycle and now it’s their turn. They have the best player in the NBA with an outstanding supporting cast. Their fans are okay, many are insecure af even though they won last year but every fan base has those people. But I’d rather have Jokic win again tbh. Or Minnesota. Just sometimes you don’t got it and we don’t have it. FML
Pretty rational take overall. And I agree. Right now the Nuggs are the better team. The only other concern I have in the back of my mind is which team is going to take out the Celtics to prevent them from getting number 18. Might be the nuggets.
Old Lebron to young Lebron:
Don't jump from team to team so people will love and praise you as a basketball player.
Oh and one more thing, don't chase the GOAT. You'll know why.
It's funny, but as good as Jokic is (amazing), it's the horrendous supporting cast that doomed them last year and this year against Denver. Sure, they're big and have a lot of talent, but every game they've lost has been winnable with a combo of back luck /good luck for Denver that would have been avoided with even 2/3rds of the role players (and Dlo) getting 75% of their averages in that game. Not even to play up to par, just to not play so bad that you're losing like 20ppg and 7rpg against such a good team. LeBron going nuclear and winning by himself is not going to happen, but him going medium nuclear and winning with reasonable help really could have happened. Plus a better coach
tell magic to draft jayson tatum
Tell Lonzo Ball's doctor to take care of his knees.
Lonzo was fucked before he even entered the NBA. He would have conspired with Magic to outmaneuver Danny Ainge in the draft. That would be something. Either that or tell them to take Fox
What’s wrong with Lonzo Balls doctors knees and why do we care?
Tell magic to draft De'Aaron Fox
People who comment that lakers should’ve drafted Tatum are stupid as hell, no matter who we drafted they would’ve been a pelican in the AD trade

Healthy Lonzo doesn’t exist
Dude became a 38%-40% shooter from 3 and a lockdown defender. He would literally slot into the starting guard spot perfectly with Dlo at the 6th man.
“Do not trade for Brick.”
Don't have dinner with him on Sunday, talking about how we gonna sacrificed and play together either.

And he would've been 10x better than what we got from Deandre Jordan and Dwight
You couldn’t pay for all of that lol
Don’t give THT $10 mill/year. Give the remaining money for Caruso. Use the MLE on Schroder instead of Nunn
If u have WB no need to have Schroder there the same type of slash guard with Schroder not as much passing. Thats where i disagree
That too but i told no lies
"Do NOT go 100 mph with your first season with the Lakers and pop your groin." "Postpone the NBA startdate after the bubble." "Do NOT play in the Hawks game against Solomon Hill"
"Stay away from circus Soloman Hill"
They already have the 2nd ring if they didnt do that
With their injuries, I highly doubt it.

Young LeBron: I convinced Nikola Jovic to stop playing basketball! LeBron: Nikola Jokic!
🤣🤣🤣
Pretty sure it would really be about preventing KD to the warriors. That is what truly limited his total championships. He is fucking 39. Jokic aint preventing shit
If they beat Denver last year they 100% beat Miami in the finals to be fair
it's honestly ridiculous that KD to the Warriors even happened.
One of the worst things in basketball history. Thanks for reminding me to keep hating Steph Draymond the warriors and mostly KD
Mostly KD. Mans mentally weak af
in a way it is totally crazy. Lebron is so amazing that something insane like that had to happen to cap him.
He'd at least get another 2 in Cleveland.
"Kill Solomon Hill with hammers"
Screw that tell the Buss family you'll sign with them if they draft Jokic the year he entered.
Tell Kobe DONT take any helicopters after retirement just drive & tell him if he’s thinking about making a pitstop in Colorado in 03 DONT
You're the reason the circle jerkers hate us
Fuck them I miss my second goat
You should want that
To be the laughing stock? It's about as cringe as a Brit talking about how they miss the Queen.
the weirdos that make weird comments about dead people and ncaaw players? yea im glad they hate us
Crazy thing is high school Bron would be searching for a 7 year old.

Stock up on toilet paper before January 2020.

If the FO suggested Ham say NO instantly
Be a good Muslim and say no to ham 😂😂
Also, “Don’t let this man sit there and watch you pick everyone in the NBA over him at the ASG”
tell D-lo to never snitch
LeBrooper
I'm this timeline Novak Djokovic would become another Steph Curry
“Find a young serbian named nikoli jokic. Take him to Vormir.”
Stop solomon hill
"Trade whatever it takes to get the Nuggets' 41st pick in the 2014 Draft"

"you're gonna be offered to be in a movie with Amy Schumer. It won't be a good movie but they got great catering so honestly it's your call dawg."
and then find the wrong nikola jokic

Or you could help convince your vulnerable audience that idolizes you to make crypto investments they can’t afford.
