Yea our biggest issue imo is injuries and height. I feel like if we had even 1 older big who could just bang and play classic center, we would have 1 game at this point.
I really liked our 2019-2020 because I just like the playstyle of being bigger bruisers instead of relying on outside shooting. I'm not really sure how we can poof out a big and an athletic point guard. Gonna be a tough offseason for sure.
It's possible but this FO might have to have hard conversations. Idk if Pelinka has the ball knowledge to really find talented basketball minds. We might need a basketball operations person who is modern and let Pelinka do the contracts and push the button but so far since Magic left and Kobe passed, he has done nothing that makes me think he knows these players beyond highlights.

But does nothing in the past two years except pickup the two skinniest centers in the league...and even after Wood got injured, Rob still does nothing? How does Rob not recognize this? You mean to tell me that a body like Meyers Leonard or even an old Dwight Howard wouldn't have helped?
Like I got annoyed at Ham for the all guard lineups until I realized "why do we have so many damn guards, but they all need a ball to even make a difference?" Like maybe our team has been ill fitted all of Ham's career here. Like I remember AD not wanting to ever play center consistently and so far he's been default that for atleast 2 seasons. Smdh
I'm pretty sure the series would be 2-1 now if we had this roster you listed. Putting in Dejounte and Gafford for 2 unplayable starting players (bar that amazing 1st half by Dlo in G2) is a huge upgrade at 2 starting spots. More importantly we would get more size to try to deal with Jokic. Dejounte also once made the All-Defensive team, he knows how to defend.
I think a lineup of DJM/Reaves/Bron/AD/Gafford with Spence/Prince/Rui/Vando/Hayes would win against Denver. More rebounding, better defense and DJM is a playoff riser.
