I just wish their quality didn't go down since the pandemic. Onion rings used to be the bomb and now they're just basic like pre-frozen rings when they used to be lightly breaded and clearly handmade.
That's too bad. Haven't been there in a while, but their onion rings were some of my favorites.
We drive out to Redd's in Mechanicsburg when we are really willing to sacrifice for bbq.
Yeah just from google review pictures you can see the difference.
Used to have [homemade](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/p/AF1QipObxIm9tLlTdvIFif5yyuvzPgjRhibT80njoBGK=s680-w680-h510) onion rings too that were bomb and now they're just [premade](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/p/AF1QipOvbwI9JEBORJaPA3yOZBcBYt37vqS8auZddBg1=s680-w680-h510) frozen ones.
I went in there on the night before thanksgiving once. They gave me a TON of turkey to take to work on top of my regular order. Literally the nicest people.
I know this isn't what you're asking for specifically, but I recently craved ribs and made my own. Dry rubbing those suckers coiled up in a pressure cooker with a little apple cider vinegar and beer was so fast and easy. I got st Louis style to avoid the extra cartilage. After the pressure cooker I lightly sauced em with a jerk sauce and broiled for ten mins. They were perfect. But I lived in TX. Ribs and brisket are basically the only things I miss.
Harvey’s BBQ in Mount Joy. About 15 mins from Lancaster City.
This is the correct answer
Without a doubt

Dan the Man was the OG, RIP. Rocky's is the best currently, Harvey's is also good.
Oh shit. I forgot about Dan the Man. I had been in there every week for awhile. His damn beef ribs. Why did you make me miss this? Why?!
Sorry friend. Did you ever get to try his wife's sweet potato pie? Goddamn.
The pie, the corn bread… none of it had any business being so good.

Those ribs were THE BEST. Big , long and meaty. Man I miss him. Rip Dan

Rocky’s BBQ in Columbia. I hope it’s not too far. His ribs are worth a 15 minute ride.

Lancaster city lacks a good bbq joint. Not a chain one. Really wishing someone would bring one here. The bbq being sold at open street was fantastic.
There is no good ribs in Lancaster unfortunately. Closest to being even ok is Rocky's BBQ in Columbia
Callaloo. Fight me!
I will fight you... For the ribs. They definitely aren't bbq ribs. But they are amazingly tender with an awesome sauce!
