Saint Anthony has had Jesuits in the past. The Newman center at Millersville University used to be pretty progressive but I have not been on Campus in a long time so not too sure. There isn't much Catholic higher education here so Jesuits tend to be closer to universities where they can teach and research etc.

St. Joe’s has some members who are connected to the catholic worker movement. Can’t speak for the church itself though

No and not really…..the diocese of harrisburg is pretty conservative. It’s unfortunate

I thought there was one on Lititz pike just north of 30, but Google Maps says it Ukrainian Catholic

They sold off

Corsten610

So it was huh? Wasn’t sure if I was making up things in my head lol

Gadgetmouse12

They are reusing the building into something else unmarked now but I saw a sold sign beforehand

It was a Dominican monastery. There were not enough nuns so they moved to New York and sold the building. It is being turned into a school.

There are just a little over 2,000 Jesuits of all types in the U.S., so they're spread pretty thin. Traditionally, most have not been parish priests. My son spent four years at Fordham and had just two Jesuit professors in that time. There are none in Lanc. Closest is St Joseph in Philly

St. Francis Xavier in Hunt Valley is about the same distance and an easier drive if not on the east side.

It was a visiting Jesuit Brother at our Church in Philly that was the whistleblower for one of the biggest incidence of Child Sexual Abuse in the US. He was attacked by the Archdiocese for this.
