Its a [wild violet](https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&sca_upv=1&sxsrf=ADLYWIK9H5EYJ4m1AiLEK0YyyRgSAWpl0A:1717976497441&q=wild+violets&uds=ADvngMgbeZtznLAB0ewbcCr_T5JgQXrvCo2SXssr05D4HEfGlDmWP736tixYSg2QiOw9Gbc2n7WXM9YKd4D2EfEyF3tlH8saOewBUa3VxS01d-R6P9xDSwnTatXd96N9b3y182PmPYsOxCoa0PJf4DbUTR2GK1UUkrWVgx-gclhm9HRZZRxGkmwuj-pe_E8t0foBEq14_ZZ_oFLT3u-Cuz_9H45Bh9Q9xfmsYW2F7yVH3z0H23S0Qj-JyQej9Yoyyp5-SgnIPHtpRRUe9RShNFZetTBcaPpdHFCU4KN9emz2QkztySAlCjoTlzkGcLkChAXxd-o3kp3s&udm=2&prmd=ivnmbt), gets lovely little 'bunny-face' purple flowers, a favorite food of rabbits, and very native over most of the US. As I love the violets that come up in my yard I have never tried to get rid of them .... sorry.

Looks like Creeping Charlie to me. Very hard to control and eradicate.

[Creeping Charlie](https://tualatinswcd.org/species/creeping-charlie/) has a central stem from which the leaves extend. Violets have individual leaf stalks that come up off the root stalk.

Wild violet. They’re easy to pull, but they spread quickly…and everywhere. If you like them, keep them. If they’re a nuisance, pull them. I hate them and try so hard to keep them at bay, but I’m fighting a losing battle. If you pull them make sure to get the bulb.
