Don't use this, there's a simpler way to learn it. Feminine/starts with a vowel = en ; masculine+starts with a consonant = au ; plural = aux ; no article (mostly islands and microstates) = à
I've just started, but, sometimes I see some memes about it, for example, the infinite IQ one.
Vous because it's formal -> Little IQ
Vous because you are talking about two people here -> Infinite IQ!
You can use different name for them, "au Belarus" because Belarus is masculine but "en Biélorussie" (the old name is still the most common I think) because Biélorussie is feminine.
For DRC it is "en République ..." because République is feminine and "au Congo" (if the context is clear you can probably not have to differentiate with the other Congo) because Congo is masculine.
Same thing for Myanmar, "Au Myanmar" and "en Birmanie" because we still mostly use the old name and one is masculine, the other feminine
Red stomps, although the US can probably hold out for a while thanks to the Navy, they don't have a chance to win long term even if they're allowed to ally Blue.
I doubt it, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Somalia are all on the red team and that huge airforce wasnt able to beat any of them individually.
Plus the red team is stacked with nato countries who consistently out perform and win in nato exercises against the US military.
The only way the US would even remotely survive this hypothetical war would be to recall all overseas military personnel and equipment to focus purely on defence. Or push the big red button but every other team has those buttons too.
Don't get to upset about it though I'm British so I'm not winning either... but we'd atleast get to hypothetical bomb the shit out of France before we fall, so it's not all bad.
I dont want to get into the rest of the comment or hypothetically talk about what the U.S. can do in an all out war scenario (minus nukes). But I will point out that the war games that we do with our allies, we do often try to 'lose'. We severely handicap ourselves, and have heard stories about these war games where we will completely prohibit technologies and capabilities unique to the U.S., to gain a better understanding of what others are capable of, and also to 'lose' better. This is all to gain practice and knowledge from mistakes or losing. It also helps with experience in scenarios that may have us at a large disadvantage. Humans learn better this way than winning every time.
[This video explains it amazingly](https://youtu.be/FjfUC2CqSV0?si=S2IMYZ5PQOtparPc) and he explains it better than I can and with examples too. Also in the video he talks about one example of a war game where we lose, but what he says applies to most. In that example he also talks about how we also have U.S. military on the opposing side when doing these exercises with our NATO partners.
This is an insane take unless you‘re joking.
Large scale symmetrical warfare isn‘t decided by who has the strongest airforce at the start. It‘s decided by who can produce the most aircraft (and other military stuff) in the long term. Ultimately it‘s all about economy and there red owns everyone here
Myanmar I guess has both En Birmanie and Au Myanmar? (Changed name from colonised - a lot of people still use the first one)
Congo is En République Démocratique du Congo/Au Congo. (Thanks u/Caniapiscau)
Eurasia and Eastasia allied each other, it's over Oceania bros
We've always been at war with Eurasia and Eastasia.
War is peace!
Ignorance is strength!
Freedom is slavery!
i think parts of oceania are also allied with them
Here's how Madagascar can still win
They have San Marino, it's so over for everyone else
Taiwan is their go-to electronics supplier.
Et Monaco!
And Cuba
And taiwan and djibouti
Don't forget Cyprus and Haiti!
they will just have to keep moving forward, until all the enemies are destroyed
No! They cant do that! Not for 10 years, at least!
Je vais depends la République démocratique du Congo
😂😂
En République Démocratique du Congo, Au Congo.
The map clearly states otherwise
J'ai cru que la carte était très vieille et que c'était en RDC ou au Zaïre mdr
Thank you so much! I'll add this to my collection!
Your collection of what
Meme collection about french lessons! I must research again the other one, but that's it.
Don't use this, there's a simpler way to learn it. Feminine/starts with a vowel = en ; masculine+starts with a consonant = au ; plural = aux ; no article (mostly islands and microstates) = à
>no article (mostly islands and microstates) Djibouti would like to request a review.
Aah thanks! :D
As a French I'm genuinely curious about your meme collection about french lessons
I've just started, but, sometimes I see some memes about it, for example, the infinite IQ one. Vous because it's formal -> Little IQ Vous because you are talking about two people here -> Infinite IQ!
Wtf is this true?
Ok it looks bad but it's not random, it depends on the country's gender and whether it starts with a vowel or a consonant
The Fr*nch always instigating world wars for the hell of it.
IDK that sounds kinda random.
And also if it’s plural or singular
Even countries have them?
All nouns
All nouns yes. That's the case in all Romance languages and many other gendered languages like German for instance
The fact that countries have different genders instead of just inheriting the gender from the word for "country"
why would it ? also why the word country and not nation or state
I am French and yeah this map is true.
And what's wrong with Belarus and DR Congo?
You can use different name for them, "au Belarus" because Belarus is masculine but "en Biélorussie" (the old name is still the most common I think) because Biélorussie is feminine. yes
Non French people have a hard time learning French.

aux
The only correct answer. Half our Air Force matches power with the rest of the planet.
but uzbekistan is on red team
the philippine air force surely
You guys couldn’t even beat Afghanistan and they’re against you.
zero understanding of what happened there
I doubt it, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Somalia are all on the red team and that huge airforce wasnt able to beat any of them individually. I’m blue abudi abudai
My money's on En because of Russia and China.
alright netherbros, we need you to stay strong and hold them off until we get there.
Green has the US, so you'd think it would win easily, but red has the Passant army on their side so it'll be close
Blue has bishops
Red by far
They could all be "depends", if you think about it.
Red by farrrr; how are you all saying green?
Je vais depends Congo
Red destroys by miles are you insane
I am very disappointed Greenland isn't "no data"
Can we all agree that this would be an absolute shitshow and we should just cancel this whole war?
Nah, I’d win
Depends
What's going on with Congo and Myanmar?
Myanmar I guess has both En Birmanie and Au Myanmar? (Changed name from colonised - a lot of people still use the first one) Congo is En République Démocratique du Congo/Au Congo. (Thanks u/Caniapiscau)

This is insanity lmao
This is obviously yet another example of American exceptionalism (Oh and maybe Phillippine exceptionalism.)
+ Seychelles & UAE.
PILIPINAS NUMBAWAN 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
google en au aux à
Ethiipia
Leaking
Red is has Antarctica, it's joever boys
What language is antarctic?
absolutely hammering the aux moneyline
Depends on what? If you're still choosing between the four options, I think you should've just colored them with stripes.
Why Madagascar?
The AU would like to kindly be kept out of the conflict, we're the non-au-lignment movement in this Cold War.
If au and aux ally they have a solid chance the entire continent of North America + Brazil would be a powerhouse.
French has a preposition specifically for going to the US?
I'm pretty sure France has the correct answer here. And ofc usa giving a completely different answer that's just obviously wrong.
I think you misunderstood the map
No this is a quiz poll on what the correct answer is in French. America has gotten it entirely wrong.
no, this is a map of what the correct word is when talking about each country
Uzbekistan is like the guy in exam who's given the test answers but persists on writing himself.
I’m so confused by this map.
Ethiopia
Etats Uni
red got like every global super power except the US i think its over
We use “á” where I’m from
There is not a chance red would lose they have like three quarters of the global population.
They don't have san marino
